Chapter 4. A soul mate?

"I listen to you, but my eyes can't move away from your handsome face. Will you be my lover?" ask Star to the point. Star is a typical person who does not like to talk.

"Are you pranking me?" asked Zafa annoyed. Maybe the girl would say something like this.

"No. I seriously. This morning when I saw you, my heart was pounding. I've never felt this way in any man. You're the first man to make me feel this way."

Zafa stared intently at Star, but the girl was challenging him. Star sucked her chocolate ice while returning Zafa's gaze.

"You're wasting my time, miss."

"Call me Star. I'm not your student" said Star rolling her eyes. Zafa felt increasingly embarrassed by Star's attitude. He immediately stood up from his stool and left Star. Star smile.

"Don't call me Star if I can't get you" Star murmured.

Star cleaned up all her stuff. He's going home to his apartment tonight. Star returns the medicine box to the cafe and will pay for the order.

"I want to pay for the order at the table there." Star pointed to where she was sitting.

"You don't have to pay, miss. Mr. Zafa is the owner of this cafe. So you don't have to pay him because he ordered it" Eric said.

"No, I still have to pay. Business is business don't mix my personal business with it." Star took the money sheet and gave it to Eric.

"Oh yeah, thanks for this medicine box."

"You should thank Mr. Zafa."

"He doesn't like me" said Star putting on a face pretending to be sad.

"I'm sure one day Mr. Zafa will like you, Miss. You're a good person" Eric encouraged Star.

"Thank you, Eric." Star at a glance reads Eric's name tag. "I'll be here often. I hope you're not tired of seeing me."

Star left the cafe. He returned to his horse. While Zafa, after from the cafe he stopped by the supermarket because he wanted to buy necessities for his new apartment.

Zafa has not had time to fill the refrigerator because yesterday had to directly teach and take care of cafe finances. After the supermarket, Zafa went straight to the apartment.

Star doesn't know if he's waiting for Larry and Lucresia. Lucresia will not accept if she has to be kicked out of the mansion. He continues to provoke Larry into teaching Star a lesson.

Star parked the bike in its usual place. When she tidied her hair. There was a car stopped next to his motorbike. However, Star did not see him. Zafa let out a long sigh when he saw Star there. He thinks Star is his stalker.

"You following me?" zafa asked after he got out of the car.

Star looked over and smiled. "Do you believe in destiny, Prof? I think you're my soul mate. I rented a unit here."

Zafa took a breath. Of the many apartments in Toronto why should one apartment with this girl. Zafa chooses not to care about Star. He got into the elevator. Star is after him.

"What if you accept my offer, Prof?"

"Be quiet. I don't like women who talk a lot."

Silent star. Her lips carved a shitty smile. The girl was blatantly facing towards Zafa.

"I guarantee you won't regret making me your lover" continued Star. Zafa just kept quiet and didn't bully him.
