Chapter 33. Attract Attention

Star chuckled as Rebecca walked up to him with an annoyed face. How not? There has not been a month he said he would pursue the handsome Professor, but now he was directly joined at the semblance of a guarantee without saying anything before.

"You're a real bitch, Star. I thought you invited me because you agreed to marry the old man."

Star chuckles. Even he received it when Rebecca hit his arm hard enough. She knew Rebecca was worried about her because some time ago when she was held captive, she had asked Rebecca for help.

"Now you know who my husband is. So I hope that if anyone teases her on campus you'll have to keep her away from the teasers" Star said.

Rebecca snorted at Star's request. They are both sitting down and enjoying lunch. Zafa was welcoming some of his guests from his country.

"You're not accompanying your husband?" rebecca asked as she ate some of the cookies.

Star shook her head. She had not let go of her gaze on her husband. Star looked at the man with a loving look.

"Why? Aren't you afraid your husband is being teased by the women there?" ask Rebecca astonishment.

"No, I trust him. He won't be tempted."

"You're very confident miss," Rebecca sneered.

"of courses. You want proof that he's crazy about me, too?" ask Star to challenge.

"Prove it. I want to see it."

"Hmm, okay. If this happens after a furore, you'll have to follow my scenario."

"What are you going to do? You don't go crazy." Rebecca knew how Star was if she wanted to attract attention.

Star smiled grinningly. Rebecca could only shake her head in the face of her best friend's nosy and rancid behavior.

Star stood up from her seat. She held Rebecca's chair quite tightly. Although this event was just like a suave event, but Star did feel very tired because because of the nerveus getting married, she was so unable to sleep last night.

"Star, what do you want?"

"My head has been so dizzy since, Bec. I haven't slept since last night because of the nerveus. I'm gonna pretend I passed out."

Star spoke while looking down near Rebecca. Rebecca really doesn't know what to do if her best friend starts acting weird.

Zafa looked at Star from where he was sitting right now. He was welcoming his friends from Indonesia, he thought if Star would come to him. However, Zafa immediately stood up and half ran to his wife's table.

Star suddenly collapsed without warning. Of course it made Rebecca screech to make Zafa immediately run.

Rebecca got up from her seat. He was really shocked by Star. However, what made him even more shocked was that his lecturer who had suddenly been nearby and immediately raised Star's body.

Although still a little surprised, but Rebecca could explain to her lecturer if Star had complained of a headache.

Mama Dian and the others approached. But Zafa hurriedly takes Star away from the ballroom.

"What's up, Becca?" ask Lionel. He was surprised to see Star pass out.

"That's .. uncle. Star complained of dizziness. He intended to take Professor Zaffa to the room, but he passed out." Rebecca did not dare to look into Uncle Lionel's eyes. He is afraid if he is suspected.
