Chapter 28. Lionel Confusion

Lionel was still staring confusedly at Dian and Gerry who had just arrived and immediately welcomed his guest.

"So you're this ...?"

"I'm Gerry the father of Zafa, this is my wife Dian."

"The man who helped my nephew?" ask Lionel. Gerry and Dian both nodded.

Honestly speaking, Lionel was still confused by the situation he was facing right now and he became more wary of strangers. Especially last night he just experienced an unpleasant incident.

Lionel is suddenly visited by a group of robbers. However, even so strangely they only snatched his phone after beating himself up mercilessly

And today, he was suddenly approached by a man who was much younger. He says that now Star is safe with her master.

At first Lionel did not want to trust the man. However, when the man said that now Damian was trying to trap Star, he finally believed and wanted to follow the man.

The man named Derrick looked friendly and always treated himself with respect. Lionel finally complies only when Derrick takes him to a luxurious Mansion.

And this is where Lionel is now. He sat in a living room where the host greeted him warmly.

"I'm sorry if my niece is troubling your family."

"Oh, not at all. Star is so sweet and kind" Dian replied.

Lionel can only puff at the lips, while inwardly muttering. 'Star being sweet? Where's possible?'

Lionel who understood very well how annoying Star just nodded without even bothering.

Lionel was very well entertained by the Zafa family. He felt ashamed that he was bothering the family.

"Bah! Mah! I'm coming." A female voice appeared from the door.

"Yes, God. Zafrina why are you screaming. Mom and Dad have guests." Dian glared annoyedly at his daughter.

"Granmas!" Amanda runs into her grandmother's arms, followed by Prince and Aurora. They all hugged Dian's mom. Aurora is the third daughter of Zafrina, she is only 3 years old."

Zicco got into the mansion while pulling 2 suitcases. She greeted her father-in-law and embraced a glimpse of her mother-in-law.

"Who's the guest, Mah?" ask Zafrina.

Zafrina smiled and then advanced. He extended his hand to Lionel. "Hello, Uncle. I hope you're not surprised to be in the middle of our family."

Lionel smiled as he shook Zafrina's hand.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss .... " Lionl seemed to raise next to his eyebrows.

"I'm Zafrina."

"Alright, miss Zafrina. It's nice to meet you. I'm Lionel. I'm Star's uncle."

Zicco also met Lionel. After that Zafrina and Zico resigned because they would bring the children to rest.

"You have a warm family."

"In the near future we'll be a family" Gerry said. Lionel frowned in wonder. Gerry immediately chuckled at the look in Lionel's eyes which were filled with confusion.

"Star is getting married to my son, Zafa. That means you too will be part of our family."

"What did you say, sir?"

"Zafa is going to marry your niece" Gerry said.

"Oh, God. I hope your son can stand up to Star's attitude and behavior."

"Just calm. My son can definitely melt Star's harsh attitude."

"Thank God, he's a little hard to tell. He's very stubborn" Lionel said. He instead praised his nephew, but instead vilified Star in front of his future in-laws.

Mama Dian just smiled at Lionel's words.

Some of the servants seemed busy arranging the back garden. Today Zafa did order some servants to prepare a large dinner in the garden.

"I'll go back, Mom. Wanna see the waiter's job. Don't let Zafa's surprise for Star fail."

Gerry only nodded as his wife said goodbye to supervise the work of his servants.
