In Chong Qing city, China.
Virranda looked at a line of men and women sitting in a park chair and chatting casually with Joe who was carrying a baby Verrel enjoying the morning sun.
He smiled to himself, when he heard Joe so fluent in mandarin, with his lips chuckling back and forth and the look of his face that also offset every sentence he made in a chat with some of the students.
Fortunately Virranda came out of this country with Joe, if it was not possible he would have difficulty regarding the language if he met different people. Because he only mastered English as an international language, while mandarin, arabic, and others, he could only be stunned when he heard it.
Virranda turned around, staring at the morning sunlight that was shining brighter that morning. The atmosphere in Chong Qing city that morning was quite warm compared to the previous few weeks due to the winter.
"Hows it? You like the atmosphere of this city?" Joe was suddenly standing next to him taking Verrel with him. The baby seemed to be busy with his airplane toys, watching him and trying to fiddle with him in his car.
"You're like a demon, suddenly beside me. Where are those students?" Virranda looked at Joe, then turned his body, looking for the whereabouts of some students who were with the man a few minutes ago.
Joe chuckled at Virranda's words, "Why don't you call me Sun Go Kong the monkey demon, Gu Moong the buffalo demon, or the other one, that one, the piggies."
"They're gone, the hours of their course are about to begin," Joe pointed to several students walking through the campus gate across the street.
"You haven't answered my question, do you like living here?" joe asked again to look at the face of Virranda who looked glare and tried to protect his eyes from the sun with one hand.
"I like Joe. The atmosphere is comfortable, calm, still beautiful, and quite pleasant. There is less air pollution. People prefer to use bicycles as a means of transportation if they want to travel," said Virranda with a smile. Now he lowered his hand, letting the rays of the sun hit his face which showed a red tinge on his face.
"Yes, you're right" Joe agreed. He also watched the surrounding, saw several bicycles passing, bringing the rider to their respective destinations.
"Joe, can we stay here longer? I want to work in this city" Virranda said, looking at Joe's face, hoping the man would grant his request. It's been more than a year that Joe's dependent life has made him feel uncomfortable.
"Of course you can, at least during this spring. The important thing is that you and Verrel are comfortable, I don't mind" Joe said, showing a warm smile. Virranda who heard it immediately smiled with relief.
"But your last request, I won't approve" Joe later said. Virranda who was already happy before, her smile immediately stopped and looked at the face of the man near her with a flat look.
"Why Joe? Are you deliberately making me continue to depend on you?" accuse Virranda.
"Not that. But Verrel Virranda," said Joe as he glanced at Verrel who was busy removing one by one the fuselage he was playing in his baby carriage.
Virranda looked at Verrel as she sighed softly.
"Joe, me and Verrel have burdened your life with our existence, which is why I want to work. I'll find a nanny if I work later," Virranda said.
"No way, I won't let anyone else take care of Verrel unless you're Virranda's mother" Joe stared at Virranda with a look of disbelief as if she had thought so.
"Verrel is not my biological son. But in my heart, Verrel I've considered my own son Virranda. Verrel is only fourteen months old and is still breastfeeding you. Would you give him formula milk instead of your ASI if you worked later?"
"In addition, I also never feel burdened by the existence of you and Verrel. You two have even been the encouragement of my life. Makes me feel like my life is a little bit useful. I only have you and Verrel. I beg Virranda, never think like that again."
"If you feel that the living I give you is lacking, I will work harder and harder. I'm going to find a side job other than being a pilot" the man said.
"Don't Joe. The money you gave me was more than enough. No need to find additional work. I'm afraid you're exhausted later, working as a pilot is not easy, and your responsibility is huge because it brings a lot of life to your flying shoals" Virranda said. He grabbed the man's wrist to convince him.
Virranda's face that had been reddened by the exposure to the morning sunlight increasingly blushed when she heard Joe's words and received the warm gaze of the man that made her feel euphoria in his heart.
"Virranda, I want you to enjoy the times when you became a mother. If Verrel is an adult, you'll miss the days when he was a kid, and it'll never happen again,"
"We're in this town only until this spring is over. Next, we will move to another city, or even another country" he said again.
"I'm really going to take you and Verrel around the world, getting to know the culture of each country, so that it becomes a memory and a story that we can tell our grandchildren," joe said with full of hope. Virranda held her breath for a moment, when she heard the man's last sentence.
"For everything we live in this world, there is a time for Virranda. There is a time for us to travel the world as it is today, there is a time when we will stay somewhere until the end of life, there is a time to cry and laugh, there is a time to be born, there is a time to be born, there's a time to die, and there's a time to meet and separate."
"So, enjoy the time that is facing us with the pleasure of Virranda," Joe slowly took off Virranda's hand on his wrist, then clasped the woman's hand tightly, lifted her up, and brought her closer to her face.
"And now it's time, Verrel's Daddy is fighting for Verrel's Mommy love" she says.
Cup.
One light and gentle kiss from Joe's lips finally landed on the back of Virranda's hand. Getting that treatment, Virranda's heart was warm, as warm as the feeling of morning sun exposure that was hitting the skin of his body that was open because only wearing shorts and tanktop.
...🍎🍎🍎...
"Finally, Miss Virranda's trail is in Taichung city, Taiwan. And now it's in China, sir, but when it's bombed, our stalkers lose track" Jeremias said.
Ferdinand Kwang took a look at the list of several countries and cities Virranda had visited with her baby Verrel over the past fourteen months.
"When viewed from the passenger data of this plane, Virranda only went with his son. And it was just a normal trip, because he didn't stay in those cities too long. As far as I know, the woman did not have enough money to finance the travel costs and the cost of living is quite expensive in those cities," Ferdinand said with a frown, thinking about the source of funds owned by the woman. At one time, Virranda's father had frozen all the cards that the woman had.
"I think there's a little weird here. Find out, who's been financing it all this time? It can't be that poor cafe singer. And it's also impossible for that woman to get on a free plane and stay in those cities for free?" Ferdinand looked at Jeremias who was standing not far from his desk.
"According to information, Miss Virranda is often seen with a pilot of one of the airlines when being dibandara. We've been trying to find out, but you know for yourself, all the personal data information of the employees of each airline is always closed," Jeremias said.
"Pilots? Could it be that Virranda is now anchoring her heart to a pilot and leaving the poor cafe singer behind?" he muttered slowly, tapping the tip of his pen on the file above his desk.
While Jeremias remained standing in his position, waiting for his next command.
