"That's very likely, because your son Verrel is my flesh and blood" Ferdinand said, pointing Virranda's face at him.
Virranda stared intently at Ferdinand's face that was locking his body in his chair. He did not expect the man to be so obsessed with owning himself that he made up such an absurd story.
"Do you think I believe? Stop talking mister Ferdinand's nonsense." Virranda's jolt was fed up while trying to break away.
"Take me off! Don't treat me like this!" virranda was angry with her sharp eyes.
"I'm sorry, I can't let you go before we solve this problem" he continued to lock Virranda in there.
"And I'm not a hobbyist man talking nonsense Miss Virranda. If you don't believe me, let's prove it together, by way of DNA testing between myself and your son Verrel." challenge Ferdinand.
"No! Verrel's my husband's son! Son of my marriage to Joe," refused Virranda ketus, his heart was getting upset.on the man who was too far into his personal realm.
"You can lie to everyone. Including your parents. But not to me Miss Virranda," Ferdinand again put emphasis on his words.
Virranda was flabbergasted, could it be that her former boss really knew her secret, her inner self. And all this time he never told anyone about the incident that night, other than his mother and Joe.
"What do you mean by what you said, sir?" kecam Virranda huffed. He was sure, the man must have known nothing about what had happened to him that night, moreover they had never known each other before his inner self.
"Before marrying your husband. You've already slept with another man, and are pregnant" Ferdinand whispered in the woman's ear.
"Enough! What nonsense is that!" virranda's body trembled, holding in anger with an increasingly reddened face.
"I'm not done-you have to listen to me" said Ferdinand, forcing him to improve his position, so that his body did not press Virranda who was being confined to the woman's work chair.
"Look at your son Verrel, aren't you interested in knowing why your son's face looks exactly like mine as a child? Heum?" Virranda simply clenched her mouth tightly, listening to all of Ferdinand's words that made her current feelings so chaotic.
"You must have reminded me of the scent of my perfume?" Ferdinand deliberately left a little, the distance between his face and the face of Virranda who sat docked on the back of his chair, so that the woman could smell the perfume he meant.
Ferdinand put his lips closer to Virranda's earlobe, "Because that night, I was the one who slept with you in that hotel room until the morning" he said half-whispering, but very clearly to the woman's hearing.
The sharp highlight of Virranda instantaneously turned livid, he felt his heart so crushed hearing the man's confession. He still could not believe the man's words completely, this was indeed really difficult to accept. Butwhy? Everything that the man said matched what he had experienced six years ago.
"Go.." said Virranda with her trembling weak voice. His strength seemed to be drained as the man's shocking statement to him.
There was a hint of regret on his face, seeing Virranda's expression after his confession. But how else. He did not want to feel the pain of losing the woman and her son again.
"I'm sorry, for having fucked you back then" said the man grudgingly in a tone of regret.
"I really love you, loved you so much since that night. I was looking for you, but I didn't find you. Until finally you came alone to apply for a job at my company, and I accepted you as my personal assistant even though at that time I already had Gerry who became my assistant." he said.
"Please, let's start over. There's me, you, and Verrel our son" Ferdinand stared expectantly.
"Go.." said Virranda again, at this time he could not think clearly at all. His tears had already seeped down his cheeks, making Ferdinand feel even more guilty.
"Please, forgive me, i-" the man again apologized with a look of regret.
"Leave me, I want to be alone" Virranda's voice grew hoarse, holding back her cries from exploding.
"All right..." Ferdinand stood upright from his previous body position leaning towards Virranda who was sitting in his seat. Though hesitant and forced, he kept walking away. Before leaving the door, Ferdinand turned to look at Virranda who had now turned his chair against the wall behind his desk.
He let out a heavy sigh, as he saw Virranda's back shaking from behind the back of his chair. He knew the woman must be crying, just not making her voice.
After tightly closing the door to Virranda's study, Ferdinand walked straight to the elevator, grabbing his phone from his pocket.
📞"Hallo, with Shen's secretary here, can anyone help?" there was a gentle voice of a woman from across the phone.
📞"Secretary Shen, ride on the eighth floor. Just accompany Miss Virranda in her room, don't ask anything. I want you to keep an eye on that Nonamu, lest he do anything to endanger himself. Youunderstand?" said Ferdinand.
📞"Good sir, I understand."
📞"If there's something you can't handle on your own, let me know, or some other employee."
📞"Good Sir."
Ferdinand hung up his phone, then got into the elevator.
