Daddy My Son's

Daddy My Son's
21. After 5 Years (Visual Virranda Laura)

"Mommy why Dad?" ask Verrel who is now five years old. The handsome and cute boy looked at his confused look at his mother who was as much as her bedside. The two men of different generations were peering into Virranda's room, from between the door of the room that was slightly open.

"Okay, Daddy doesn't know either. Verrel is back in the room, continue what Daddy taught you. Mommy's business, let Daddy handle it," said Joe half-whispered to the little man who was on a high level with himself, as he was crouching on Verrel's side.

"Good Dad," said Verrel.

"Smart kid," Joe rubbed Verrel's hair and let the boy go back to his room to study.

There was a sense of hesitation to enter, but Joe could not leave Virranda alone with his current situation. He got up from his squat, pushing the door knob slowly until it opened wider.

"May this cute guy come in?" joe asked, still standing at the door, asking permission from the owner of the room, with the logic of imitating Verrel.

Instantly, Virranda's sigh stopped, her back to Joe turned around, revealing her face as a result of crying.

"Basic sucks!" the cry of Virranda was irritated, sending out cries that almost turned into laughter.

"I hate it the most, when I cry, you always make me laugh. That's so bad tau', sucks!" strangled Virranda again in a still upset tone, holding back laughter seeing Joe's face made ridiculous in line with the tone of the man who always imitated his son if he wanted to tease him while being sad.

"I'm sorry, I didn't do it on purpose. This is innate since orok," said Joe. "But may I enter the queen's room?" ask again, and change the look of his face is not as ridiculous as before.

Virranda did not reply immediately, taking some tissue on the nightstand, by her bedside, wiping and drying her tears and throwing them in the trash under her dresser.

"Come on Joe, I want to talk to you too" Virranda said, letting Joe in and making room for him to sit next to her.

Joe's moving closer. Like Verrel's sweet and always obedient style, so Joe often imitates the style of Virranda's child, in order to take his mother's heart.

Joe sat side by side with Virranda, by the woman's bed, and said nothing, just waiting for what the mother of the son wanted to say.

While Virranda was still busy wiping her tears that were still flowing without her being able to hold it, Joe who saw it could only help give the sheets of tissue to the woman without daring to act more.

"Joe," call Virranda, after a few minutes he is busy with himself.

"Eum?" sahut Joe looked at the face of Virranda sitting next to him, changed his sitting position, facing Virranda with his left leg slightly bent up on the bed and slightly hanging.

"I, miss Mami and Papi Joe," said Virranda hoarsely with a trembling voice still holding his prank that had not been dashed.

Virranda nodded slowly, looking at Joe who was looking at him deeply.

"Yes Joe, I want to go home. Papi was sick, poor Mami herself took care of Papi in the hospital," after saying so, Virranda again sobbed sadly, she took the sheets of tissue that Joe had given her.

"Your pa-pi are sick? What pain?" joe said awkwardly as he imitated the call Virranda pinned on his father.

"Fatigue, that's according to Arin Joe's aunt, when she called me half an hour ago," Virranda said in a still-sobbing voice.

Joe thought for a moment, weighing what he had to do to help his contract wife return to Indonesia to see her ailing father.

"Prepare tonight, tomorrow morning we will go to the airport and take the first flight to Indonesia" said Joe later.

"We can go back to Indonesia tomorrow morning Joe? Then what about your busy flight schedule?" virranda asked feeling bad about bothering her paid husband.

"I'll take care of everything tonight. It's possible that I could only take a week off, take you to both of your parents and go back to work" Joe explained.

"I can go home by myself Joe, don't worry. I've been getting on and off planes with Verrel for the past five years" said Virranda, who did not want to spoil her husband's flight schedule.

Joe smiled when he heard Virranda's words. "Yes, you were right Mommy Verrel, but the pilot was Daddy Verrel" he chimed in with a chuckle.

"This time don't argue with me. I'll take you and Verrel to see your parents, then my heart is calm. After that, I will return to work" Joe said again.
