Daddy My Son's

Daddy My Son's
39. What May?

"I can't drive" Joe refused, as Virranda continued to force him to sit behind the wheel.

"I can't believe the time of a good pilot can't drive a car. Come inside!" Virranda is still pushy.

"Can't be mommy Verrel, I can make a new way," said Joe still refused and slightly chuckled.

Drrt. Drrt..Drrt.

"Thank you for the phone" said Joe, as Virranda glanced at him.

📞"Hallo Pi," said Virranda.

📞"What time is it? Why haven't you come back yet?" there was the sound of Mr. Loenhard's nagging from across the phone.

📞"Mr Ferdinand is still waiting for the file you fixed earlier. Hurry back," said Mr. Loenhard, trying not to raise his voice.

Virranda glanced back at Joe who was staring at her.

📞"Sorry Pi, I asked for permission this afternoon. Tomorrow I'll finish my job. I need to get Joe to the airport now" Virranda then disconnects his phone.

He believes, his father must be angry across there because of his attitude. Instead of being deliberately disrespectful to his father, when he heard Ferdinand's name called his father, and the man was still in the office, Virranda decided not to meet the man just yet for today.

"Why are you acting like that? Your papi must be angry?" joe said he thought he was still staring at Virranda. Although he did not fully know what Virranda and his father were talking about, he could have guessed that something made the woman decide to dodge and not return to the office that afternoon.

"The distance to the airport is quite far. So you don't have to drive me. I can get there by riding my bike," pointed Joe at his flagship sport bike parked between the motors of the dealer employees.

"You'll be back in two months. So let me take you to Joe's airport. Anyway I don't want to meet Mr. Ferdinand, he's still in the office with Papi" Virranda approached Joe, grabbed him by the hand and put the key to the car in his hand.

"Let's go now. You can be late to the airport if you buy time again. Later I will call Mr. Johan to ask for help from his employees who take care of your bike," Virranda then moved into his new car.

Joe looked at the ignition in his hand. Hearing the name of his ex-wife's boss was called, and remembering what the man said, as well as what he did to his wife earlier this afternoon while in the parking lot of his father-in-law's company, makes Joe forget that he just admitted he can't drive.

A few seconds later, Joe rushes in, and sits behind the wheel, while Virranda is ready next to him, complete with a seatbelt attached.

"New car engine sounds good?" joe chuckled, as soon as his hand had just turned on the engine and run it slowly, leaving the dealership area.

"And the person who previously claimed not to be able to drive, suddenly immediately able to drive like a rich gini racer," led Virranda also chuckled.

Hearing Virranda's tearing, Joe chuckles even more as he restores his neat hair. He only realized when Viiranda said that to him.

Remember he floated back to what the man had done this afternoon, as well as his words, until now he was still wondering, why the man said so to his inner Virranda.

Joe glanced at Virranda sitting quietly next to him, the woman did not look scared even though Joe increased his speed. Airport traffic is quite quiet makes Joe more freely increase the speed of driving because in a few minutes, the watch in his hand will show at three in the afternoon.

As soon as the airport unfolded, Joe began to reduce his speed, entering the airport, to one of the parking lots not far from the airline lounge where he worked.

"May I know, why did Mr Ferdinand say my husband's status would change to that of an ex-husband?" joe asked, just after he parked Virranda's new car. His curiosity forced him to ask that question before he left Indonesia.

Virranda turned her head, looking back at Joe, "He's the guy Papi had been with me before I married you Joe?" sahut Virranda.

"Stupid?" joe muttered his voice. The change in look on the man's face showed a feeling in his chest that suddenly felt insecure. When they were about to leave Indonesia at that time, Virranda had indeed told him about it, but had not told him what the name of the man was.

"Heum" Virranda nodded slowly.

Joe took a look at the face of the woman who had been an encouragement for his life. The insecurity was getting more pressing. What if Virranda suddenly severed their relationship, and preferred the man she was betrothed to. Just imagine it, making Joe's heart so crowded.

"Mr Ferdinand, he's a rich man, also handsome and well-established. It's not wrong for your Papi to match him with you. A father must want the best for his daughter, let alone you are the only child in your family," said Joe trying to say wisely, but not in line with what he is feeling right now.

"Then why didn't you take it, and ask me to get married at the time?" Joe scrunched his forehead a little.

"Because there's already Verrel in my womb Joe" Virranda said, removing her seatbelt from her body. "I'm not sure if the man would accept me when he knew I was two-bodied at that time" he added.

"Yes, I remember. You told me about that matchmaking you rejected. Means the man you've been betrothed to is master Ferdinand, your former boss."

"Yes, that's right." Virranda said briefly.

"If you think? I should how?" Virranda asked back.

"Don't accept. I must be heartbroken" said Joe quickly, the look on his face looked serious.

"If that's your answer. Why did you ask me a question like that," Virranda smiled broadly at Joe's tensed look waiting for an answer to his question.

"Yes, too" Joe spontaneously put on the grin face of his horse while scratching his non-itchy head.

"Again, Verrel doesn't want another Daddy, he just wants you Joe" Virranda said with a smile.

"really? Verrel said that?" joe was getting happier. It didn't feel like he was grabbing Virranda's hand in his lap.

"Yes, Verrel said so. When Ferdinand went home with his two masters to visit Papi who had just been discharged from the hospital at that time. Mr. Ferdinand said because his face resembled Verrel as a child, but it was the same" Virranda recalled their meeting that night.

"Like?" Joe clenched his forehead again.

"Yes, they are similar. I saw Joe's picture myself. I'm also surprised, why are they like betel nut split in two?" Virranda seemed to think for a moment.

"I've heard myths say. When pregnant, we should not hate someone excessively, later our baby born can be similar to the person we hate," said Virranda chuckled.

"Why, I was always upset and bemci saw his face that liked to see me secretly at that time. I thought because I was pregnant. But now, I still hate to see it, always discussing the past matchmaking issues with Papi" he added with an annoyed look.

Joe pensively, Ferdinand's resemblance to Verrel was very disturbing, could they have a father-son relationship, considering that until now Virranda did not know who the father of his son was. Plus the man was so bitter after Virranda who was actually married for their matchmaking reasons in the past.

"Joe, enough of a daydream. It's three o'clock in the afternoon, you're too late" Virranda wiggled her hand that Joe held up several times.

"Oh, yes, you're right. I have to go now. Can I have a kiss on my left cheek before I leave? It used to be just on the right," Joe asked expectantly with his silly look that grinned the horse.

"Why don't you just ask for this one," pointed Virranda at the two halves of her sex lips.

"W-what can?" joe's heart rate spontaneously beats faster than usual. His hand was clutching tightly to Virranda's hand which had been on his lap.

"Heum" said Virranda, softly muttering as she nodded slowly.

A nod to Virranda makes Joe's heartbeat even more uncharacteristic, plus the woman has closed her eyes with her sultry lips slightly open.

Joe's face was getting closer. Virranda froze, feeling a warm touch of Joe's breath sweep across her face. This is the first time Virranda has allowed a grown man to touch her lips, her heart pounding and warming, waiting for Joe's lips to land on hers.

"I'm sorry," Joe suddenly distanced his face.

Virranda spontaneously opened her eyes with a blushing face holding in shame, she also moved away and leaned against the cabin back by throwing her gaze towards the car window beside her.

The woman cursed her overconfident folly with all the sweet words and Joe's concern for her all along.

"Mommy Verrel, don't misunderstand me. I'm afraid of absurdity." said Joe, feeling guilty.

"No need to apologize. Now go, you've been slow Joe," said Virranda without turning his head. Shame still rules him.

"I'm not leaving until we clear up our misunderstanding" Joe said.

"You don't have to explain anything Joe. Go now, you're too late." drive Virranda out again, still don't want to look at Joe.

"Look at me mommy Verrel."Joe grabs Virranda's shoulder and points his wife's face at her.

"I had to go back and forth to the bathroom that night, when you asked me to hold your hand the first time the three of us slept together." Virranda looked at Joe, she did remember, the man went back and forth to the bathroom until the early hours of the morning.

"It's not easy for me to resist my maleness. I'm a man who used to sleep with a lot of older women. Especially with you, a young woman, beautiful, attractive, and what I really crave, can make me out of control mommy Verrel."

"I'm determined to take care of you and Verrel for the rest of my life. I'd touch you if I had your parents' blessing. To me, you and Verrel are precious." Joe's eyes turned red, holding his heart back.

Virranda shook her head, looking at the face of the man who had been guarding her and Verrel very well. He also did not expect if a Joe could appreciate it so high, himself ever tarnished by a man bajin*an.
