Daddy My Son's

Daddy My Son's
49. I'm Not Sick

"Take me to the doctor" Virranda asked in her tears.

"Well," said Joe sprightly.

"Bi Arin, please get Miss's car keys," Joe asked the middle-aged housekeeper. After saying so he hurriedly carried Virranda in his carriage down the second floor to the car that was being garrisoned.

"Okay, sir" said Aunt Arin, although she knew Joe would not necessarily hear his words because he was away from her. He enters Virranda's room to retrieve what Joe asks.

"Daddy! Verrel's coming!" the boy ran after Joe behind him, while some of the housekeepers chased him down the stairs, worried that his master's son had fallen.

Ferdinand, who was about to leave the Loenhard home, abandoned his intentions when he saw Joe taking Virranda out of the house in a hurry.

From inside his car, he only watched her from afar. Honestly, he is still worried about the condition of Virranda, he hopes if he is the one who is in the position of Joe now.

Ferdinand recalled the last time he had held Virranda in the same position, which Joe does today, when she was taken to the hospital to give birth.

The man frowned his forehead which was slightly dizzy. Also, the pain was felt in some parts of his face that turned blue due to Joe's punch that landed there.

Joe places Virranda's body carefully in front of the car, after a security guard helps open the door with a ignition key given by Arin's aunt.

Joe put a seat belt on Virranda's body. As soon as he finished, he squatted beside the car trying to persuade his son who continued to whine wanted to come along.

"Jagoan Daddy's at home? The hospital does not allow small children to visit there if they are healthy, many germs of disease" said Joe while wiping the shoots of Verrel hair with affection.

"Daddy asks for help, Verrel keep aunts in this house well as long as grandparents have not returned home. Daddy promised to take Mommy home quickly, once Mommy was healthy. Okay well? You want to help Daddy, right?" added Joe again stared at the look in the eyes of Verrel who wanted to cry because he would be left behind.

"Heum" Verrel had to nod, though he was not willing. For him, his mother's health was still more important.

"Smart child" praised Joe and embraced the child's tiny body, she said affectionately.

"Dad's promise?" Verrel put his little finger in front of Joe's face, as soon as the man broke his embrace from his tiny body.

"Daddy promised," Joe said as he lifted his little finger and hooked it to Verrel's little pinky making the boy smile happily.

"Bi Arin, I'll take Verrel, yes" said Joe, staring at Arin's aunt, who was standing a short distance away from him and Verrel, along with other housekeepers and two security guards.

"Yes, sir" said Aunt Arin, bowing her body slightly, while the others also stood while bowing their heads.

Joe came in and sat behind the wheel next to Virranda. He turned on his machine, left it for a while, after enough, he began to run it slowly, leaving the courtyard of his father-in-law's mansion.

"Joe, I don't want to go to the hospital" said Virranda, after they were on the highway. He glanced at Joe who was concentrating on the road ahead of him.

Joe frowned, glancing at Virranda next to him and staring at the street in front of him again. "Why?" joe did not understand.

"Didn't you ask me to drive you to the hospital?" added again.

"It's just a transition. I want us to go to your apartment. There's something I have to tell you Joe," said Virranda, looking intently at Joe, who kept focusing on his wheel.

Joe was silent for a moment, surely it had something to do with what his inner Ferdinand had said.

"You sure you don't want to go to the hospital first to check on your health? As for what you want to say, how about after the hospital," said Joe carefully, glancing back at Virranda who was still staring at him.

"I'm not sick" said Virranda briefly, then turned his gaze forward, eating traffic that was still quite crowded in front of them.

"But you look pale and limp," Joe occasionally turned to Virranda and remained focused on the road in front of him so as not to be knocked let alone hit by another vehicle.

"I just don't sleep Joe. Before I could tell it, I must have had a hard time sleeping" Virranda said, turning to Joe.

"All right, we're going to my apartment" Joe said at last, after he thought about what Virranda had just said.

Joe slowed down the speed of the vehicle he was driving, on the front lap, carefully turning his wheel to turn around, towards where his apartment was located.
