Daddy My Son's

Daddy My Son's
50. Love is Just the Same to You

"Mr Ferdinand, he said he was Verrel's biological father" Virranda said, leaning on his back on the headboard behind him. There was a tightness in his chest, as he said that.

Joe stopped the movement of his hand for a moment, he was compressing his face that was blue and slightly swollen due to Ferdinand's tons that several times hit his face.

"Did you just believe what he said? Could he be lying?" Joe put the compress cloth in his hand just like that into his thumb bowl and approached Virranda and sat down on the woman's bedside.

"I just don't trust him, Joe. That's why he challenged me to a DNA test, between himself and Verrel," said Virranda looking straight ahead with a glaring gaze.

"You accepted the challenge?" joe asked curiously, his heart was pounding. How not, Virranda's words some time and then came back to his mind. Was this the answer to her curiosity at the time? Verrel's face is very similar to that of Ferdinand's master because they do have a very close blood relationship, namely the father and son relationship.

"No. I don't want to accept Joe's challenge," said Virranda again, her voice sounding a little raucous.

"I was too afraid, afraid that what Master Ferdinand said was true. I don't want that man to be my son Joe's father. I don't want to!" virranda's hoarse voice suddenly rose. The woman was seen suppressing the turbulent emotions in her soul.

Joe looked at Virranda, there was pain in his chest when he imagined that Ferdinand was the biological father of Verrel, the son.

It could be that Ferdinand's threat in the company parking area of his father-in-law some time ago will really come true, if his status as Virranda's husband will end. Plus the statement of Mr. Loenhard who again resonated in his mind, that his father-in-law openly wanted Ferdinand, who in fact a businessman to be his son-in-law.

If his father-in-law found out about this, of course he would force himself to release Virranda. Just think about it, making Joe shudder in horror, the truth that will be revealed may change all his beautiful dreams so far, to be able to stay alive with Virranda until the end of life.

"I have my own way of revealing the truth" Virranda later said.

"What do you mean?" joe looked at the woman.

"I had someone check the fingerprints of who was in the money the man gave me when he left me in the hotel room at the time" Virranda said.

"Suppy money?" parrot Joe frowned. He still looked at Virranda from the edge of the woman's bed.

"Yes, a wad of money," Virranda's eyes began to glaze back. " The fingerprints on the object were those of Mr Ferdinand's, the fingerprints" he said.

Joe. What he was so afraid of was the reality. It was very desirable that he protested at the reality, and shouted his anger, but to whom? And will it all change the events of the past that have become historical stories?

"The man's behavior hurt my heart. He appreciated my honor so low." Virranda's words made Joe clench his hand. As strong as his energy, he tried to control himself and calm his emotions. His gaze returned to Virranda who began to sob.

He is not willing, if the woman he has been caring for and loving with all his heart will just get away from him and become the property of other men.

Virranda's cry became more and more, he tightened his embrace on Joe who was holding him. His past, which he had buried deeply, was now revealed.

Until now he still does not understand. Why would a man who had been betrothed to her be able to fuck her without them knowing each other before. Wh who? Who is the mastermind of all those bitter stories? he continued to cry bitterly.

"Maybe I should let you and Verrel go?" joe said softly, after Virranda's cries began to subside.

Instantly Virranda loosened her embrace, making a distance between herself and the man. "Why Joe?" he looked at Joe's face which looked still swollen and pathetic.

"Yesterday night, I met your Papi and Mami in London, at the company's birthday party where I worked."

"Mr Loenhard bluntly said he didn't want to have a daughter-in-law like me. He only wanted master Ferdinand to be his son-in-law, because the man was a businessman,"

"But you said it like that?" Virranda looked at Joe, her cries now completely stopped.

"Heum" Joe nodded slowly. "It could be that, if this is known to Mr. Loenhard, he will be more intensely asking me to divorce from you," he continued fretting.

"Joe" Virranda grabbed her husband's hand, and held it tightly. "Did your words of love still apply to this day?"

"This world, I only have you, and so does Verrel. You guys always make me miss going home. If you two walk out of my life, what does my life mean, then" Joe's swollen face looks even more miserable.

"Then hold on Joe. Stay with me and Verrel. We also want to stay on your side" said Virranda with her eyeballs now back in tears.

"Really??" joe's sad face faded away.

"Heum," Virranda nodded surely. "I just want you Joe. I love you just the same."

Joe could not speak, his heart was too happy. The sacred words he had been waiting for finally came out of the mouth of Virranda, the woman who had filled his days and dreams.
