Damar (Not) For Wulan

Damar (Not) For Wulan
Two Families Gathering

Mom folded both her hands on her chest. Just this time I looked unfriendly to Damar.

"Mom, we're talking trouble-"

"Marriage issue, Mom. Wulan nih want to wear a sexy dress, clearly ajah Damar angry," interrupted Damar.

I glared at him, he could have lied like this. Though we were talking about the gym, I better not extend about the gym earlier, let me go without his knowledge.

"Wulan, is what Damar said true? Can't wear a sexy dress, many invited guests come. If you want to wear it, just fit a photo session for memories." Mom scolds me.

"Hem, yes Ma'am," I said briefly. This hand pinches Damar's ass from behind, feel it. He's the one who lied, I got sprayed. Damar even tightened his embrace in front of Mom. I tried to stay away, embarrassed to see Mom, but, instead, she deliberately showed off her affection.

"You two are impatient, right? From then on until you forget about lunch time. Comein! I'm here to call you." He pulled me up from my seat. I grabbed Mom's arm and pushed her body with her other hand. I laughed without a sound, mocking him. He said without making a sound, 'watch out later' he said accompanied by his lips that moved like he wanted to kiss.

"Bogem want?" Oops, I'm flabbergasted.

"Lan, who are you talking to?"

"Eh, no, ma'am. Let's go to lunch! Wulan is really a laper." We rushed towards the dining table.

We, the two families ate leisurely while chatting. Before long, there was Bang Kelvin's family. We all moved to the living room. As usual, cousin and sibling Bang Kelvin looked at me like he was looking at the shit that had to be mercilessly exterminated.

"Tante Iren, why would you want to marry Damar to him! Not really, Auntie." Brother Bang Kelvin looked at me disgustedly. He was sitting right next to Aunt Iren, actually his voice was slow, but since I was sitting next to him, I could hear what he was saying even faintly. He glared as our gazes clashed. If I don't remember it wrong, it's called Vina.

"What happened to Wulan and her family? You don't have to talk much! You don't know anything about my best friend's family." Aunt Iren started to get emotional because of Vina's speech.

"Tante, how rude is that Kak Vina?" Cousin Bang Kelvin doesn't accept, his name is Anya, as I recall.

"You two can be quiet? It's Mutia's house, don't say anything." Bang Kelvin who had been silent since then began to speak. We were all silent, let alone my parents, they must not have heard what the brother bang Kelvin said, their seats were a bit far away from us.

"We'll just go home, brother! Males is here, Bang Kelvin is as good as they are, tacky, the deck is the same as the villagers." The two of them left this living room just like that.

Bang Kelvin sighed, he apologized to me and Aunt Iren for the behavior of Anya and Vina. Damar had been growling, clenching my teeth, but I was trying to calm his emotions. He was sitting right beside me, so, he must have heard the words of the two of them.

The atmosphere that began to be awkward was again thawed by Brother Pearl. My sister-in-law's candidate this one does look perfect in my eyes, her stomach is starting to enlarge, her face is beaming, her appearance is graceful and elegant, her nature is so loving. Bang Kelvin was lucky to have it. He must be happy because in a few months his first child will be born.

"Lan, Wulan! You daydreaming?" Hands waving in front of my face.

"Lan, tomorrow morning don't forget to the boutique! We buy or rent depending on what you want to wear. Mommy and Pearl that wander." Aunt Iren looked at me.

"Wulan come, Tan." I smiled stiffly as I daydreamed.

"Auntie again, Aunt again. When do you want to call her mom?" Aunt Iren melengos.

"Ningsih, what is your son? Aunt kept calling him." Aunt Iren looked at Mother, protesting at her.

"Wulan, get used to calling Mami from now on, son!" Mah's mother must have obeyed the will of her best friend.

"Yes, Mom. Slowly Wulan will call Mami." I took a breath for a moment.

Om Purnomo seemed busy, since then no sound was heard. Her eyelids were fixed on the screen of the hape. The discussion this time was random, I did not know what to answer every question they asked, to be honest, it is better for me to sleep than to have to discuss my personal life before being in Jakarta. Memories of childhood that until now I can not remember, re-emerged because of the conversation Mother and Aunt Iren. The father looked at me who was agitated, agitated because he remembered the forgotten memories. Want to feel like remembering the past events, especially those times memories with Damar.

"Mas, let's just get out of here! It was late afternoon." Bored start to fall.

"We say goodbye to them, we go get ice cream, okay?" He offered me.

"You, I also want to eat ice cream." These eyelids are widened, happy to hear them.

Damar and I went to one of the shopping centers. There, we walked into a newly opened ice cream outlet. I think he bought me ice cream in the shops, but he brought me here. I was shocked to see the price above a hundred thousand. Damar who chose the taste of ice cream, we chatted like other couples while feeding ice cream into the mouth.

The next morning, we—para Srikandi in two families, went to the boutique to try on a wedding dress. This time I have to obey their will, two kebaya, one Muslim dress, one western-style open dress and one traditional Javanese dress. I will wear five outfits for the event and reception except for the western dress, just for the prewedding photo session only. After finishing sorting and choosing, it felt weak, my energy drained let alone hearing the ravings of three women of different ages. My butterflies feel really hot.

The four of us went to a restaurant close to the boutique. I didn't say anything, ate this dish in a relaxed and calm manner. It feels good, wants to go again but it's a shame, hahaha.

After an hour at the restaurant, the three of them finally decided to go home because the day had gone by late afternoon. Just as my butt moved quickly away from the chair, there was someone greeting me and Mom.

He always comes at the wrong time. Aunt Iren and Brother Mutia looked at me.

"Mom Ningsih, Wulan, are you going home yet?" ask him pleasantries. I looked at Mom, I tried to take a breath.

"Who is he, Ning? How do you know your name?" Aunt Iren looked at my mother.
