Damar (Not) For Wulan

Damar (Not) For Wulan
Seeking Contract

"Who do you mean, Mar?"

"No, they!" He pointed at the three men gathered on the sidewalk of the road to the left of the vehicle.

"Who are they?"

"My friend, I think we should get off in front. I want to kill them first, I haven't seen them in a long time."

"Relatedly? I'll just wait here."

"Come on, I'll get to know them."

"What do you want to know me for?" I wonder what he thinks of me as.

"Of course as my worker in the coffee shop. It's still there." I swallowed heavily.

"Eum, thank God," I muttered briefly.

"Elu Ngarep would I know as my future fiance? Don't ngarep!" Very rude of him.

"Who thinks so? Amit-amit, who is Elu? Rough guy, belittle again. Not my dream man." I quickly denied.

"Down or I lock the car door!" I had to obey his orders.

I came down with my face bent, grunting as our gazes clashed.

"Dimas!" He called one of his friends.

"Damar, are you here too? I think you're busy because you graduated yesterday. Sorry yes, I can't come" regretted the man who called Damar.

"It's okay, after graduation" said Damar.

"Mar, who are you? Tumben street with the chick." Another friend chimed in.

"Lho, you're not the girl who's been in Leaves' coffee shop?" I remember his face. I feel like that face is familiar.

"Who is it?" I try to remember again.

"Gue Dimas, who keeps you fit you two accidentally bumped."

"Oh yeah, I remember now. Yes, you're Dimas." I managed to remember. He's the one who insisted on helping me drive to the boarding house but I refused. I put my hand out while smiling.

"How are you?"

"Okay, I'm fine. I've always wanted the name Elu, Wulan .. a beautiful name as beautiful as her face." Dimas further tightened his grip.

"Udah, peak! He's my employee, watch out for you if you dare to disturb him." Damar brushed off Dimas' hand. Our handshake was released.

"WHAT?" The three friends squealed, gawking at Damar.

"So, you work at Damar's coffee shop? Then why are you walking together? Doesn't it work?" Question Dimas in a row, I'm confused what to answer.

"You don't have to be surprised. We're out in the line of work, going to a new branch." Pinter, too, he lied.

"We often hang out there, but, why do we rarely see Elu, huh? I know, I'm Andre." My hands are outstretched to shake.

"Udah, don't shake!" Damar took my hand and brushed it off.

"Sick," my ringisku held back the pain.

"Mar, it's so rough with girls." Dimas doesn't accept.

"Udah, you guys are making a fuss!" The other man who had been silent since, finally opened his voice.

"Know, Lan. I'm Roni." It turned out that her name was Roni, she raised her hand into the air as a sign of introductions.

"Oh yes, Roni yes. I'm Wulan." I reply with the same thing.

"Well, I thought you guys were gathering here on purpose." Damar.

"Somewhat, we accidentally met. Roni will not have time, he will work outside the city. happens to be there again a survey in Jakarta."

"Yes, we move if so. But I can't hang out for long. My work is not done yet." Damar.

"Yes, come on! Nearby. If over time parking on the side of the road, maybe our car can be towed." Roni passed away soon.

We got into each other's cars, lucky the streets were not as crowded as usual, maybe because it was not rush hour. Roni took the lead, his car was at the very front, he stopped right in the Starbooks parking lot.

I've never tasted coffee in this place. People say it tastes good. We go in, sit around the table. One of them ordered the coffee we wanted. As usual, Damar chose it for me. I don't know how long they chatted, the language was about work and women. Apparently, the man's chatter is like this.

Damar finally got up, we said goodbye to them. I think he forgot to look for a contract. We walked to the parking lot, got in the car. This vehicle is sliding to divide the streets that began to be crowded.

The car was stuck in traffic, I was tired of having to see a sea of vehicles on the left right. Damar tunes music to eliminate boredom. Sometimes he sings to music.

"Astaghfirullah." I patted his arm.

"What?" He stopped singing.

"Your voice is, like, what. I can budge."

"The name also animates the music, so it must use a shrill tone." He went back to singing. Slowly but surely, we were finally able to get out of the jam.

We tried to find three different places. But, it has not managed to find the right one. Aunt Iren was always picky, every time we walked into one of the rented houses, Damar made a video call with his mom. Aunty looked around the room from the phone screen. We've gone to another house, trying to find a suitable house according to Aunt Iren's wishes.

"Feelings, I'm the one. But, why is Aunt Iren so busy?" I muttered alone.

"Damar, I'm tired, you're doing it. Choose this one, Auntie doesn't like it. I'll just give it to you." I went back to the car, leaning my back on the back of the chair. Shortly, Damar got back in the car. He scooped his face violently.

"Where do you think Auntie doesn't like it?"

"Yes, I don't know what else to say."

"Yes, go on." The vehicle is returning at medium speed.

"Gue try nyari apartment first, ajah Mami likes. Six houses were rejected. Less of this, less of it." Damar complained.

"Whatever, I can only give up and follow."

Damar contacted Aunt Iren, Damar's proposal was accepted with pleasure. So, the man is now looking for an apartment unit close to his residential complex.

"We go back there, there's three empty units." Very quickly he got the information. The car moved away.

We arrived at an apartment unit. Someone greeted us, driving us to an empty unit.

"Fourteen floors," I said almost inaudibly. We got out of the elevator after the elevator stopped right on the fourteenth floor.

We looked around the apartment room, as usual, Damar contacted his mother via video call. Finally, there was a word of agreement from him. They are busy with payment. My parents and I just stayed here. What I don't like about this apartment, is how I clean it. The part I like the most is the beautiful balcony. The view of the capital surrounded by skyscrapers made me amazed.

"Wulan, let's go home! Tomorrow we can move." I agree with Damar's words. It doesn't feel like it's afternoon.

Damar got into the elevator, but I forgot something.

"Mar, you go first! My keychain's down." Damar clucked, but he obeyed my will. I'm looking for a keychain, I just noticed it when I saw the zipper of the sling bag.

"Where the hell?" This head is down while looking for a keychain.

My vision focused on the floor until I accidentally bumped into someone until we both fell into the corridor of the apartment.

"I'm sorry, I didn't intentionally. Focus on the keychain again, so, don't know if anyone's ahead." I rubbed my sore ass from a fall.

"Guil." Our views meet.

"You, you live here?" I saw this man in front of me.
