Damar (Not) For Wulan

Damar (Not) For Wulan
Move To Apartment

The aunt who first saw us was also surprised that there was Mami behind her.

"Say Damar! Selena! What were you guys talking about? Don't-don't Selena-," Mami didn't continue her words. Suddenly his face was pale, his body was limp until Bibi held him back so as not to fall.

"Mommy thinks what the hell? Selena's not pregnant, Mum." My sister went to Mami. He could guess what was inside Mami's mind.

"So, why are you talking about getting pregnant out of wedlock? Is it not-don't Wulan that-,"

"Mommy, don't be negative thinking that way! Wulan wasn't pregnant, neither was Selena. Damar just wants to remind Mami's youngest child not to date to get out of bounds." I interrupted Mami's words.

"Alhamdulillah" he said with relief. His body was back firmly, gradually improving not as pale as before.

"Just look if you get anything before the wedding takes place, Mami will cross you from KK, understand!" I glanced, turned around, out of Selena's room.

"Damar, instead of answering even maen nyelonong go do it."

"Damar is tired, Mam. Want to rest in the room, tell the youngest child Mami tuh so he does not continue dating!" I didn't heed Selena's call shouting loudly because I heard what I said. I opened the door, entered and locked it from the inside. It was too bad to hear the words of those who were still talking about it.

"Arrgh, four more days of the show." I lay myself on the bed. Prolonged stress due to si4lan matchmaking that I have to accept even by force.

"Look at it, Mama! Damar and Wulan will work together to cancel the wedding later." My smile was sumringah, more precisely a wide grin.

I looked at the phone screen, looked up trending video videos and watched them. It is good to eliminate saturation with daily routine. I don't know how long, hape I put it on the nightstand, I fell asleep too.

Wulan POV

The day of our move here got my parents excited. They were so happy to know the apartment unit featuring rows of skyscrapers on the balcony.

"It's a shame we're just three here. Had Damar and Iren taken us, it would have been more exciting." Mother took a long breath.

"Mom, they're both busy. Mom and Dad just stayed here."

"One month is long enough, Lan. We brought a lot of clothes." He showed me two bags that were carried.

"It's a pity that Iren is busy preparing food for his fellow travelers." Mother took a long breath.

"It could be that Aunt Iren is ashamed to have a candidate like you, it could be so, right?" I'm guessing.

"Hush, can't suudzon! You yes, the same in-laws themselves are bad to think. He is very good with us, thankfully we are sought after even though it has been a dozen years since he moved to Jakarta." Mother chattered at length, until the ears were hot like an oven.

The sound of knocking on the door distracted the three of us.

"Let Wulan open. Mom and Dad take the bags to the room." I waltz away.

I opened the door a little, peeked inside who was out there. My forehead frowned in wonder to see him here.

"Sir Dadang? What happened when we got here, sir? Nothing left in the car." I opened the door wider.

"Father of forgetfulness would love this, Non. It's in the trunk of the car, invisible to the father, uh forgetfulness." The Damar family's private driver handed him two black plastic grocery bags.

"What is this, sir?" I grabbed it, it turned out to be quite heavy as well. I heard the clang of glass clashing.

"It's ingredients for cooking, Non. There are vegetables, fruit, instant spices, instant noodles, and meats. Mother who told you to shop this, quickly put it in the refrigerator so that the chicken does not rot, Non."

"Oh yes, sir. Thank you very much, later Wulan called Aunt Iren as well."

"Ready, Non. Excuse me first."

I pushed the door leaf with my foot until it closed. Both my hands are hard-earned to carry this plastic. Immediately I go to the kitchen, put it on the table.

"Hosh, hosh," I gasped.

"Wulan, who was that? I heard a man's voice."

"So Mr. Dadang, Mom. Thank you for this." I glanced towards the food.

"Gilak, a lot, Lan. Who gave you this? Damar?"

"Diiih, ngarep if he's the one who loves. From Aunt Iren's, Mom."

"Alhamdulillah, a month here if the food is so much more than enough." Mom's excited.

"Mom can cook, Lan." Mother sparkles bright.

The sound of knocking on the door was heard again.

"Let Wulan open the door, ma'am. Can you please put it in the fridge? Vegetables, fruit and meat?"

"Just calm down, if it's Mom's business. Look who's coming!" I left the kitchen.

I opened the door, saw the man again up ahead.

"Sir Dadang, what's wrong?" I glanced at his luggage.

"This, there's more, Non." He took down a twenty-five kilogram sack of jute rice, and there was also a pink gas cylinder. There was sweat pouring down his forehead and temples.

"Oh my God, sir. Why don't you call Wulan ajah let Wulan go down to help."

"Ah, no need to Non. You are still this strong."

"So, wait here!" I left the door open. Looking for the whereabouts of the Father to lift rice and gas canisters elpiji. I don't want to trouble Mr. Dadang anymore.

"Sir, please Wulan lift the rice and elpiji at the door! Wulan's going to the dorm room. Ask to wait for Mr. Dadangnya." Father nodded briefly.

I went into the room, grabbed a sling bag and reached into the wallet there. I took fifty thousand in cash. I rushed back outside, thank God Mr. Dadang is still there.

"This, Sir! Please take it, thank you very much for helping Wulan and family." I put a sheet of money at least how much it is worth.

"Don't, Non! It's been an order from the superiors, you're just the superiors." He refused, but I gave it to his palm.

"Take it, sir. It's okay." It's okay."

"Thank you, Nope." Finally he accepted, leaving the apartment door.

I went back inside, went to the kitchen to help Mom.

"Lunch we haven't cooked yet. Mum, cook good." He smiled widely.

"Boleh ajah. The material is complete gini." I replaced the empty gas canister with a new one.

The three of us were busy doing our own jobs.

Before long, there was a knock on the door.

"Who is that, Lan? Don't you, Mr. Dadang again." Mom and I looked at each other. I just sniffed my shoulders, stopped the activity and ran small towards the main door.

"Yes, Mr. Dadang .. is there still someone who missed again huh?" I opened the door wide.

There was him who frowned in wonder, looking at me as if asking for an explanation.

"What are you doing here?"
