Two students at the college were sitting and standing when they saw Damar approaching.
"Why do you guys go home? Who gave you this address?" He asked ketus. His face seemed to be holding back emotions. How dare these two students come to visit his house without any prior notice.
"What's the matter, Mom? We're just here to ask you about college material this morning." One of them smiled a little.
"Tomorrow in class! I will never give any more material outside of college. You guys have to understand that. Now, please go home! Sorry, we're talking about this tomorrow when there's a class from me." Damar was so strict with what he said. She didn't want any other students to know about this. Perhaps, they took turns coming to this house shamelessly. And that will definitely make it a hassle.
The assistant lecturer stared fixedly at the two who were bumbling. The two students looked at each other.
"Please go! Here, not the campus, so, I'll never let my privacy be compromised by your deliberate actions." Again Damar said ketus.
"Kkk-if be-so .. we go first, Mas. Sorry to interrupt." One of them said at once saying goodbye.
They walked towards the main door. Out of the house to the main gate.
"Our plan failed, it's very difficult to talk with Damar."
"Banget, it's here too, we're also expelled." They complain about this incident.
"Lho .. Have you met Mas Damar, Neng?" The security guard at the guard station greeted them.
"Already sir, our business is done. We can go home now." One of them said. Both of them tried to smile despite being forced. They both finally leave Damar's house.
"Malem-malem, disturb the people ajah tuh two humans." Damar stepped out of the living room. The young man stepped up following the other family members in the dining room.
"Lho, what a spit, son?" Mother frowned.
"Udah is in order, Mam. Yuk ah, eat! Damar is hungry." The family gathered for dinner together.

A week had passed, Wulan who took the holiday ration on Wednesday was surprised by the arrival of the two people who were in front of him. As soon as he opened the door, his mouth gaping wide, he was glued to where he stood. This afternoon he was so surprised by the arrival of his parents who had been missed for a long time.
"Dad, Mother ... You guys are here, why not hang Wulan?" The taste of haru mixed happily because it has been almost a year not met, making the girl's eyeballs glazed.
"Same mother you were invited to attend the wedding of our best friend's son first." The mother hugged her son tightly. While Wulan's father put two large tote bags near the bed.
Wulan outlined a hug, grabbed the back of her mother's hand and kissed her respectfully.
"You guys ngagetin Wulan ajah. Tumben malem-malem here is a guest." Wulan took turns kissing the back of her father's hand.
"Mom would like a surprise for you, son. Thank God you are really surprised." Wulan's father replied.
"Come in, Mom, Dad! But, yes this is how Wulan's room is, narrow." Wulan slapped a folding mat. The three of them sat on the floor of the room with the mat.
"That's so sorry, son. Living in a boarding room alone, working every day to help us. You'd better get married, you're old enough to get married." Wulan was flabbergasted to hear the mother's words.
Dateng from the village even talked about marriage. Duh, Ibu nih .. malesin deh discuss about marriage.
"Mom .. You better not talk about it first! I'm tired, I'm gonna take a break. But, take a shower first. Sticky because of sweat." The man in his fifties interrupted. Wulan breathed a sigh of relief because her mother's conversation was no longer discussed.
"Her towel was hung on the bathroom door, Dad." The man rushed to the bathroom door.
Wulan and her mother now switch to sitting on the edge of a small bed.
"Mom, where did the fare come from? Isn't this the end of the month? Wulan, haven't sent money." A question he managed to say.
His mother was confused as to what to answer. He did not want his son to know about his arrival to the capital. Ningsih was eager to express the intent of his arrival to this city. In addition to attending a child wedding invitation from his best friend, he also wanted to give an explanation to Wulan about what he would say later.
"Mom, why daydream? I have a lot of thoughts, don't you?" The girl patted the air right in front of her mother's face.
"Hus .. not polite to parents. Even plop like that." His mother was of course surprised by his son's sudden movements.
"Such a long-suffering mother. Not to answer Wulan's question, instead to daydream."
"Friends of Mother who send transportation costs to this city. Oh, I answered." Ningsih pinched her son's cheek.
"You guys are still talking, mbok Yo bought Daddy lunch, Lan! I'm a laper." Ramli—Dad Wulan is already out of the bathroom. His face looks fresh even though his stomach is asking to be filled.
"Chat for a minute, Dad. Oh yeah, Dad, what do you want to eat? Let Wulan pesenin via online ajah."
"Is your money enough, son?" Ningsih looked at her only child.
"Enough, Mom. Take it easy .. anyway not every day order food online. Let me and Dad get some rest, don't go out of this room."
Wulan held out her hape to her mother. His father approached, looking at the menus on the screen of the application. They are confused about which one to choose because the dish is so appetizing.
"Then let Wulan choose. It's been ten minutes more wrong, too."
Wulan chose a food that was suitable for the tastes of both her parents. After ordering food, her mother went to the bathroom to clean her body. The father and Wulan were sitting on the bed.
"Son, we're both sorry." Ramli's Eyeballs are so cute.
Wulan did not understand why her father suddenly apologized. The girl looked at her father.
"Why did you say that? You two are not wrong, this is all fate .. So, we have to live it sincerely." Maybe his father was not feeling well for inconveniencing Wulan, that was the girl's thought.
"That's not what I meant, son. We both turned out to be looking for your mother's best friend who has been separated for twenty years, now this .. Your mother's best friend billed the promise they made first." The man in his fifties took a deep breath.
"Promise? What promise, Dad? Do you two have a debt to your best friend and haven't paid it off?" Wulan's trying to figure it out.
"No, it's not like that. Our promise must be tied for life."
What promises should be tied up for a lifetime? Wulan was still wondering, she could not guess what promise her parents and best friend had agreed to.
