“Caesia, this is impossible!” I turned around, surprised to see Mireina heading towards me. A translucent film had formed around him to block the rain, but what was more surprising to me was that he was even alive from the start. Hundreds of monsters filled this plain. ‘Even if most of them had focused on me, it was a bit strange none of them went for him..’ He blushed and lowered his head as my gaze was fixed on him.
