Dragon Realm

Dragon Realm
Episode 12's

IT WAS HORRIBLE, IT was so hot.

No. gabe. It was so cold.

A dog with a hand is playing a flute.

The skull kept laughing.

Cabe wakes. He shuddered. Those dreams are so amazingly real. He stood up, sweeping the star dust from his body. A snapping bird landed on a nearby branch and howled. Cabe's mind was clear enough to tell him that the dream was not a dream. Insanity, maybe, but not a dream.

Strange and wrinkled plant creatures rushed, complaining about the drought. A frog flies by, only to be struck by a perched octopus. Cabe realizes that all the creatures are from the Lady. To be exact, they took out the adult from the crack in his prison.

It took a bit of imagination to realize that a huge amount of power was escaping. It was also clear that the crack was spreading, and when it had spread far enough …

The dark blade is still stuck in the amber. The wisest choice was to escape .. but could he run far enough?

A small piece of outer skin was crushed. As the larger chunks slowly cracked, releasing greater power, Cabe was astonished that he had not been affected so far. Part of his legacy, or just luck? It makes no sense to run, he realized. This kind of power would overwhelm him no matter how hard he ran.

A series of large cracks developed throughout the crystal. The fragments started flying. There goes. Cabe fell to the ground and found himself wondering just how big an area that the force was going to flatten. Miles maybe.

The shell collapsed.

Cabe lowered his head, and the world became chaotic.

CABE opened her eyes and, to her surprise, the world was still there. “I've never had a day like this in eternity, my friend! It does promise to be interesting!”

Carefully, he raised his head and looked towards the voice. Infinity, in the form of a stallion, greeted him with a twinkle of icy blue eyes. The creature named Darkhorse was standing between Cabe and Lady, and a great flood of raw power had swept it away with a smaller effect than the summer splash. The creature appeared to be in a very good mood, in fact, something that still did not lower Cabe's anxiety level.

"Come here! One of your abilities should not be humbling yourself on the ground! Wake up! I mean, you don't get any harm!" The black horse chuckled.

More out of fear than anything, Cabe got up. Even at full height, he was still dwarfed by the creature.

"That's better!"

His eyes glanced to and fro looking for a sword, Cabe asked, "Who are you?"

Those cold eyes were staring inside him. "I'm Darkhorse, of course!"

"Are you a demon?" Cabe found it hard to stare at Darkhorse for too long, as it made him feel dizzy which threatened to pull him towards the endless inner body of the horse.

The creature snorted. “For the devil I may be the devil! For most people, I'm the one who ends all the time!”

Sounds suspicious near death, Cabe thought. No wonder the firerake had no chance, even with the three of them. "I thank you for your help, Lord Darkhorse."

Laughter shakes the grounds of the manor. "Your majesty! A black horse, sir? You give me great honor, Mr Bedlam! Darkhorse can never be a master, because it's not written in the multiverse!”

Cabe covered his ears. Another voice threatened to destroy his eardrum. Accidentally, he glanced towards the broken prison. Lying on the ground, seemingly unharmed, was the figure of the unconscious Lady.

Darkhorse's gaze followed him. “You'd better meet him, my friend! I'm afraid he won't accept my intervention well, even though I mean only he's good!”

Carefully passing his unreal counterpart, Cabe approached and bowed to check on the green-clothed woman. She was again fascinated by her beauty. He was almost afraid to touch it, as if the touch would tarnish the perfection of his being. Fortunately, reason took over and he lifted her up and placed her on softer ground.

Cabe finds himself staring into the eye pulling him emotionally like the hellish form of Darkhorse pulling him physically. When he whispered something too soft for him to hear, he brought his ears closer.

"Nathan." He smiled and fainted again. Darkhorse ran to get a better look. “He has not changed .. which is more of a reason for me to leave you for a while! You and Miss Gwen may have to find some kind of transportation to the Penacles if I don't get back on time!”

“I have horse—”

“Mr Badlam! I am your noble horse! I'll have to play the role of a terrifying mountain so that the dam allows you to enter. I am not a demon, but my nature is very similar to theirs, and stronger barrier spells affect me just as much as they do! Without someone willing to call out to me, I cannot enter an area well secured by such a charm! Especially when the spell was cast by a power like the Madam herself!”

The creature wanders and studies the land of the manor. Seems a little upset. “When I leave this area, you must give me permission to enter when I return! If the woman wakes up before I get back, do it calmly. He would never allow me to enter willingly! Ha!"

With a sudden leap, Darkhorse disappeared into the forest. Cabe felt a pull, as if something was sealing back. As she looked around, she found that, for all practical purposes, she and Lady were alone.

By himself? Something else seemed to catch his attention. Cabe used one hand to shift what was left of the yellow prison. Opening the sword, he pulled his hand. There was no point in touching the sword. Notnot now.

With a little more to do, he tried to rest. The creature, named Darkhorse, seemed confident in the woman's ability to survive. Chili has no training in healing and knows that it is impossible to find anyone in this area. In this case, any stranger could turn into another firedrake or other evil terror.

Reluctantly, he let himself fall asleep.

“WE SHOULD NOT be so close to Tyber Mountains, Twann.”

Twann, a burly, ugly man with more scars on his body than many army veterans, grumbled at his equally ugly friend. “You how else, Rolf. City guards in Talak watch all the southern roads. I knew! I stalked them while you were drunk after we hit that merchant!”

Rolf scratched his bald head. “I think you're right. I just don't like to drive near this area. You know what's supposed to happen here.”

“Pah! The legend! What do the Dragon Kings care about us? We're just two hardworking colleagues. Like insects to them.”

"Bug squashed."

Upset, Twann turns on his friend. “Maybe you prefer to try driving through Dagora Forest? At least here, we can't be surprised. We can see for miles. Anything coming from the mountains would be so high that we would easily achieve protection. ”

The others said nothing. It was futile to argue with Twann, and Rolf had no better idea.

They kept going, occasionally discussing plans for the future. Mito Pica seems to be the most likely place to go. It was a city large enough to hide it easily, and was located in the general center of Dragonrealm. All they needed to do was head east for a short time and then turn south. If Mito Pica proves unsatisfactory, they will head east from there to Wenslis.

They traveled near the base of a huge mountain. Something doesn't seem real about it. Rolf slowed down his horse and narrowed it down. It was almost as if the mountain wasn't quite there. He grabs Twann's dirty shirt and draws his attention to the giant.

“See from close. Something looks funny!”

In the dim light of the moon, Twann's tired eyes could see nothing. “You lost! We'll drive another hour and then stop.”

“I tell you that the mountain is not there! Look again!”

Twann sighed and comforted his friend. The sight made him cold. Without a word, he pointed at a finger. Rolf smiled, satisfied that his foolish partner had seen what he had. He looked towards the mountain.

Dragons came out in large numbers.

Most were small drakes, barely intelligent animals that were useful to their brothers only as shock troops due to their large numbers. Most have no leftover wings and therefore run or crawl or jump. The firedrake, in its original form, flew overhead, keeping the mass under control. Abominations scaled and things that could not be explained with words followed. It was definitely the previous party that was ordered at the last moment by commander Gold.

The two thugs were on their way.

Rolf's horse panicked, threw it, and ran away, ignoring the man's screams. Rolf looked at the advancing monster and asked his comrade for help.
