Dragon Realm

Dragon Realm
Episode 13's

Twann, quickly measuring the shrinking distance between the dragon and himself, shouted, "Fuck you!"

Another man watched her leave, horror began to approach her. He tried to run, but the first little drake was already on top of him. It was more of a snake than a lizard, and half crept as it moved. Gaping jaws clamped it. Screams of shock and pain, then silence.

Up ahead, Twann could hear the scream. He only had a moment's regret and then concentrated on increasing his ride speed. He did not have to worry about that aspect; the animal did its best to save his own life. Even so, the distance is still reduced. Little Drake is the steed of the ruling class. When the Dragon Monarch and his subordinates travel in human form, the little drake is enchanted to appear as a horse. This allows the dragon to travel through the ground without attracting attention. Although they controlled almost all of the territory, the Dragon Monarch and their relationships, for the most part, were aloof and private beings.

Even with only the dim light of the moon, Twann could see a dark shadow passing through it. He looked up in panic. A huge firedrake, shining eyes, came swooping down. The criminal drew his sword, knowing full well how futile it was.

The big claw closed on him.

The horde kept on going. Talak was their first goal.

WHEN CABE WAKES, only darkness fills her eyes. He did not know if he had slept for a few minutes, hours, or days. The black horse has not returned. He shuddered, and almost wished for the fantastic creature to be here.

There's a little vibration. Cabe stood up suddenly. The trees blocked most of the light from the Twins. The styx is almost invisible. Cabe is unsure if all the strange creations of the magic being unleashed have vanished. He began to grop on the sword. Now he's ready to hold it.

Something was shaking near him. Cabe remembered the barrier to Darkhorse. Suppose his strange ally had tried to come, but had been prevented. He might finally give up and leave. That would make him alone face—what?

That the barrier does not prevent all creatures from entering is evidenced by the dam. They have lived here for countless seasons. What else might find its way here?

Swords. It should have been nearby, but he couldn't find it in the dark. He started digging in panic. It has to be here! For a moment, he felt something like a punch. However, his search was interrupted by the sound of flapping wings suddenly coming from behind him. He's circling.

Something landed in front of him. He couldn't see much of its features, but it didn't seem to be a firedrake. … No, it looked more like a bird, or like a human, he thought as two clawed hands grabbed it. He ducked, barely avoiding his touch.

The bird moves after him so accurately that Cabe suspects the bird has night vision. There will be no rescue this time. Whatever happens will depend on your actions.

In the darkness, he almost stumbled onto something. It was long and hard, probably a branch. He quickly reached out and took it. It wasn't much, but it felt better than being unarmed at all. After all, the bird creature had now become more cautious in its attacks.

Desperation arises. Cabe swung a branch to his opponent. His wings flapped, lifting the bird away from the piece of wood. It landed not far away and waited for the man to make his next move. Cabe began to approach him, recalling his precious burden, and retreated. He will defend the Lady in any way.

The bird flew into the air until it was more than four times the height of the chilli. It flew towards him, floated out of range, and then flew around him. The chili whirled, ready to attack, but the bird creature kept circling around it. His speed had increased, and the man found it hard to keep an eye on the thing without becoming too dizzy.

Around and around it flew, never within striking distance. Cabe threw the branch there, but missed. It was a foolish act, but he quickly became confused and needed to do something.

Cabe paused for a moment to clear his mind. That was the moment the bird was waiting for. Swooping down, it landed behind him. The claw hands stretched out and held his head. Cabe gasped as his mind suddenly left the present.

He found himself walking backwards. The Seeker— that name came to him, although he did not know how to—had found what he was looking for.

IT WAS DARK, but not a dark night. Instead, it was the darkness of nothing. Evade.

Something important is less.

Cabe appeared shouting, but he was not himself. Unborn, she is older than her mother and father.

Pain.

Memory of pain.

A bright light, quickly came; he had to leave. She must. Must.

THE MAN WHO calls himself Simon is alone. The Gryphon Lord had other things to attend to, and the witch still wanted to be alone, for only in privacy could she find hope at all.

A big voice blew his mind. “As usual!”

The witch raised her head and probably blinked. "Black horse. I haven't expected you.”

Simon nodded. “More than anyone else can do.”

The black horse came running closer. Regardless of its shape, not a single object was thrown from its place. Darkhorse only moved what he wanted to move. “I came to tell you that young Bedlam has managed to free Miss, with the Horned Sword, as you predicted and would have known, of course.”

"Is there a problem?"

“Bend? They won't seduce anyone anymore.”

“I mean by increased strength. Miss has been waiting a long time.”

The creature snorted. “I absorb it all! Wild energy is not of much concern to me! If not controlled.Ha! Why imagine a disaster that did not happen? Now, for both of them, the only thing they needed to worry about was rest. ”

The witch said nothing. Instead, he took the Egg and handed it to his unnatural companion. Darkhorse shook his head in annoyance and looked into those cold blue eyes at the witch. Any other man will shrink back, but he who calls himself Simon does not.

"Look into the Eggs."

“You know I can't! Eggs are useless to me. All I see is fog!”

"Try."

Something in the voice of the witch made the creature obedient. Some others could do such a thing, but Darkhorse knew who and what he was up against. Simon was beyond his power, his fate was in the hands of others. Maybe that's why the creature can call him a friend. Eternity has been lonely.

An******** which is almost like a human being. "I'll try."

Darkhorse stared at the Yalak Egg. Simon may have observed the fog closely. It spun, like a Chaos beast tearing its chains apart, the darkness became deeper and deeper. The fog disappeared, leaving a void so vast that it threatened to draw even Darkhorse into it.

The big horse shifted its eyes quickly. "not again! I won't see again!”

"What's that?" Even though the witch was asking a question, her tone was the tone of someone seeking confirmation of a known fact.

Eyes on him. “This is where the two of us might not go. That's where I've sent countless others. This is the place from where no one can return.”

Simon's fuzzy features may have added a deeper wrinkle. “Then what does it mean? I'm not like the Gryphon. I believe that whatever Eggs show us must have meaning.”

“Maybe, but again, you may be wrong.”

"No. I feel that there is some significance as far as Cabe is concerned. I wish I could see it again..”.

"I'm not going through that anymore!"

The witch shook her head. “I won't ask you.”

Darkhorse changed the subject abruptly. “They will wake up soon. I don't like going back there and facing it. Although he cannot kill me, he has the power to exile me for a long time.”

"He'll be less concerned about you when he finds out that I'm the one who called you."

The spectral horse nodded. "You, I think, will face worse than exile." The face behind the hood is very different. There was the impression of a young man with eyes that looked as immortal as his comrade. “I've done it. I'm not afraid of his hatred.”

There's silence. Darkhorse strangely felt mortal. He brushed off that feeling. "I'm going back to Bedlam and the Lady."

“Travel safe, my friend.”

Darkhorse started laughing, thinking about it, and coming to his senses. With a roar, he opened the Path That Only Humans walked Once and disappeared. There were voices after his departure. An unreal voice that his friend was very familiar with. The damned soul was the closest description he could find.

Seriously, he who called himself Simon sat down while stroking the Egg.
