Duda But Perjaka
Chapter 10

This chapter has been revised ....

"Gandhi, you are called Mr. Arnold to his room" one of his colleagues told Gandhi.

Gandhi, who was pushing a trolly filled with used glass into the pantry, nodded and headed straight for the manager's room.

"Excuse me, sir" said Gandhi knocking on the manager's door.

"Hemm .. enter Gan," he said. "Sit down" he continued after Gandhi approached.

The man hesitantly landed his body in the chair opposite Arnold-Manager of the company. Both are limited to a large table.

"Mother called me? Eeemm ... What is necessary, sir?" ask Gandhi without saying anything.

"Look, I received your application from HRD." Arnold re-opened sheet by sheet of paper that contained the conditions for applying for Gandhi's job. But there is something different, namely he uses his S1 diploma.

Hearing the words of his manager, Gandhi's body stiffened. His gaze focused on that middle-aged man in front of him. Both of his hands clasped firmly to channel his tension.

"Your grades are very good. Your work during this time is also neat, deft, satisfying. Four years here, you know a lot about the company, don't you?" Arnold throws in a question that Gandhi himself hesitates to answer.

Gandhi loved his work. He always works hard with all his heart without ever complaining. It became its own plus from the manager.

"Next month I was transferred to the city of Jakarta. The manager position will be empty. I'd like this one month, you learn all the science of corporate management." Arnold's words were convoluted.

"I mean Father?" Gandhi nodded in confusion.

Gandhi was shocked to hear that both his eyes were perfectly widened. His mouth is also open. As if I couldn't believe what he had just heard. He still shook with his shock, without saying a single word.

"Gandhi's? You don't like your new department?" Arnold, who saw Gandhi silent, asked.

The man woke up from his daydream. Gandhi's tears began to burst forth, rebellious to venture out of his lair. "Be-justified, Sir? Mr serious? W-w-did I not hear wrong?" gandhi said stammering.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" arnold asked, turning his eyes.

Gandhi reached out his hand, replied Arnold. The two shake hands. Gandhi repeatedly thanked her, occasionally wiping away her tears.

Patience and patience all this time, sweet fruit. His efforts paid off with a promotion he never thought possible.

"From tomorrow your seat is there" Arnold said pointing to a desk not far from him. It was easy to teach Gandhi. "At 8 am we breefing with all management teams including Mr. Handoyo as CEO of this company. Dress neatly, don't be shy of me." Arnold grabbed Gandhi's shoulder, patted him hard encouraging the man.

"Good, Sir!" gandhi with a big smile.

He immediately returned to finish his pending work today. He really can't wait to give this happy news to you.

"Why are you smiling to yourself?" ask one of her male friends.

"Eh, no really. Hehehe," he said. He felt bad for his friends. Afraid they would hate him with his ascension.
