After his father's death shortly after his divorce from Gandhi, Anjar proposed to Ayu as promised. Although not done a big party, not how long she was pregnant again.
They now occupy Gandhi's house. Ayu was so ashamed of him, she was aware of all his attitude. Although Ayu hurt her ex-husband, Gandhi was still heartened to forgive all of his mistakes. Even now he gives his hard-earned home as a wedding gift.
'Oh my God, so glorious is your heart. I really don't deserve any of this. My mistake was fatal, getting sorry from you alone I was very grateful.' muttered Ayu daydreaming in her room.
Ayu did not occupy Gandhi's room. He just cleaned it every day without staying. Because every time Ayu entered it, she remembered the bad behavior of her ex-husband. Which only ended in tightness in his chest from crying full of regret.
She and Anjar, whose husband is in the same status, chose the room next to her. While Sofi who is none other than her mother Anjar occupy the guest room in the lower room.
At first Sofi is shocked by Anjar's sudden marriage. But over time he can accept it because Anjar is good at berkilah. I don't know why Sofi doesn't seem to like Ayu.
'What is your heart made of Mas Gandhi? You even took pains to find Mas Anjar to be responsible. You want to give me this house, you also want to take care of me when I am sick. I am so ashamed and sorry. I'm sorry Mas, ' he muttered while crying. His fingers firmly gripped the iron trellis attached to the window.
Her remorse deepened when Anjar's attitude changed after marriage. He became a man who did not care about all the complaints of his wife.
Her pregnancy has entered the age of 3 months. Not too bulging, only visible if people pay close attention to it. Moreover, she often wears loose clothes increasingly does not show her pregnancy.
"BRAK! BRACKET! BRAK!"
Ayu heard it. Quickly, he wiped away the tears that had dripped earlier. Ayu walked up to the door and opened it.
"Mother" he said softly seeing his father-in-law standing in front of him.
"Well, what are you? You slackers! Cook your husband's pity when he comes home with no food!" pekiknya glared sharply.
Almost every day Ayu is always loved by Sofi. What he did was always wrong in his mother-in-law's eyes.
"Sorry Mom, I'm being ...."
"Don't dodge, go to the kitchen right now!" had not had time to finish his speech, Sofi had cut it first.
Ayu lowered her head and walked towards the kitchen. He cannot argue. Her tears came back, her mother had never treated her like that.
"Lord ... is this what is called karma?" ratap Ayu put on an apron and opened the refrigerator taking the ingredients to cook.
From the beginning of his meeting until now, Sofi had never been gentle with Ayu. Anjar also never served her after finding out the woman was pregnant again. The man always kept busy. Coming home is uncertain. Just giving birth to a living only.
This made him think of Gandhi. The perfect man who always treated her gently even though Ayu kept hurting her.
"Mas Gandhi," he drifted in the middle of a sobbing while cutting vegetables.
Unlike usual, Anjar came home early. Ayu hurriedly finished her cooking. He also wiped his tears rough.
The approaching roar of steps made his heart beat thump. He felt scared. Sure enough, Sofi was already in front of him. Ayu lowered her head.
"Your husband is home! Still not ready? You catfish!" sindir Sofi.
"Ma .. sorry Mom, usually Mas Anjar come home at night. So ...."
"Not many reasons! You should have prepared from earlier. If he comes home you just stay hot. How the hell? That should be told. Forgive me, how could Anjar marry just like a woman like you," cynically again.
Ayu just remained silent and did not answer anything. Because every word that comes from his lips must always be blamed. He stirred the boiling soup in the pot with trembling. His chest was tight and rumbling.
"I'm pregnant her child was treated like this. What if I'm not pregnant? It must have been worse than this" he murmured when his mother-in-law was already away.
Ayu has prepared dinner at the table. Then she meant to call her husband. He walked slowly up the stairs. Occasionally rubbed his slightly protruding stomach.
"Honey you have to be strong, mama's child is pinter," he said continuing to walk to his room.
Without knocking, Ayu opened the door slowly. Anjar, who was changing clothes, was surprised by the open door.
"Why don't you knock on the door anyway?" ketus Anjar saw Ayu walking closer to him.
"Sorry, I don't know" he said slowly.
Anjar immediately laid her body on the bed against Ayu. The woman closed her eyes and let out a long breath.
"Mas, eat first" she said, touching her husband's shoulder.
"I've eaten. I'm tired of not bothering me!" sahut Anjar pulled the blanket to cover his neck.
Ayu turned disappointed, trying to hold back her emotions. He was afraid that it would affect the condition of his fetus. Ayu returned to the dining table, there was no sight of her mother-in-law.
He picked up a little bit of food on the plate and started eating it. His tears again fell, remembering Gandhi who had fed him when he was sick. But now? Her husband never asked her how.
"Mas Gandhi, I miss you. You are the best man. I'm really sorry." Crying as much.
Ayu could not continue eating. His throat was blocked, unable to swallow food. He put his head on the dinner table. Crying in solitude.
Lucky the baby wasn't fussy. During her pregnancy, Ayu never felt nausea vomiting or dizziness and such. Maybe the baby understands his mother.
After tired of crying, Ayu returned to clean the food that was cold. He threw away the rest of the food and washed the dirty dishes.
Then move to the room. Anjar seemed to have fallen asleep. Ayu splashed her body behind Anjar. His eyes looked at the ceiling.
"Mas, tomorrow is the time for pregnancy control. You please help me yes," said Ayu touching her husband's shoulder.
There was no response from Anjar. "Hmm .. tomorrow just say it. Maybe he was tired," Ayu murmured and closed her eyes.

The next day, Ayu woke up early and prepared breakfast. When returning to the room looks Anjar is neat with a long shirt, jeans and so fragrant.
"Where are you going in the morning?" ask Ayu.
"Find money!" ketus answer.
"Breakfast first, it's ready. I wait at the dinner table," Ayu replied quietly and was patient with her husband.
Ayu returned to the dining table, Sofi was already seen eating food. Ayu immediately sat in her place, not daring to greet her mother-in-law.
"Where's your husband?" sofi asked glancing at Ayu.
"By getting ready, ma'am" she looked down to prepare the food on her husband's plate.
Shortly thereafter, Anjar joined the dining table. Then eat the food in front of him.
"Mas, I'm on a content control schedule today. Can you please anterin me not?" said Ayu hesitated.
"No, I'm busy" Anjar refused without seeing his wife.
Ayu was silent for a moment. She tried hard to swallow her food and held back tears from falling.
'Why have you changed so drastically? Why don't you care? It's your flesh blood.' Mas.' Ayu is only able to speak in the heart.
Sofi shook her head, not responding to the chatter of her son and daughter-in-law. Still fun to eat his food.
Anjar and Sofi left when they finished eating. Sofi went to her room, while Anjar went to work.
After cleaning everything up, Ayu prepared to go to the doctor. Then he tried to contact someone.
