Duda But Perjaka
Chapter 51

Gandhi nodded, saying. The eyes of the two stared at each other with warmth. Gandhi's view was clear. Alice felt something strange enter her heart.

As they went down the stairs, they passed Alexander. Gandhi stopped his steps, Chaca stared straight ahead, unwilling to glance at her foster father in the slightest.

"Om, we'll take a moment" Gandhi said, not removing his arm from Chaca's waist.

"Where are you going? Chaca is not recovering" Alexander said.

"Who's Chaca's real mother's name?" chaca replied softly, turning her head for a moment expressionlessly.

"Namira Setyaningsih" Alexander replied briefly and clearly.

"Come, Om." Without waiting for another question, he continued his still staggering steps.

Gandhi did not want to step down. Alexander just froze, seeing Chaca change. He regretted, he shouldn't have spoken like that. Should have waited for the right time and with a speech that did not offend him.

"Slow down" Gandhi said, covering Chaca's head as he entered the car, and wearing a seatbelt.

He immediately switched behind the wheel. Drive the car at an average speed. Chaca was silent with an empty mind. His hand was held by Gandhi's broad palm. Even when inserting teeth, his hands are still linked to each other.

Gandhi was silent, giving his own time to the woman. All he does is always ready to be his back. They arrived at the hospital 30 minutes later.

"We go to the information section yes, Om," Chaca pinta after getting out of the car.

Gandhi nodded, widening his arms to cupper Chaca's small waist. His face was still pale, his head was twitching, just walking as if not treading on the ground.

"Excuse me, Sus. Can I request patient data 18 years ago? Please, it's about my family's whereabouts." Chaca blurted without further ado after sitting in a rather tall chair in front of the information desk.

The nurses looked confused. Because patient data is the privacy of each patient.

"My parents were the victims of the accident at the time. She died after giving birth to me. At least I still have brothers from both of my parents. Please," Chaca's pinta started to shed tears.

The nurse types her fingers on the keayboard quickly. Occasionally scrolling, his eyes kept staring intently at the computer screen, examining the data a dozen years ago.

"Sir, please ask for help" Gandhi told OB.

"Yes, Mas. What can I help you with?"

"Please buy mineral water with ripped bread" said Gandhi, handing over one hundred thousand pieces, with one hand still clutching Chaca.

Seeing Chaca's situation, the OB immediately agreed. Not long after, he returned with Gandhi's order.

"The return is for Father. Thank you very much, sir," Gandhi said after receiving it.

"Together, Sir. Excuse me," said the OB.

Gandhi opened the sealed mineral water lid. Then close to Chaca's lips, which closed her eyes. The whipping dizzy faded his gaze.

"Drink first, dear" said Gandhi.

Chaca blinked, feeling something touch her lips. He opened his mouth a little to swallow the water.

Same with the bread. Gandhi forced Chaca to eat it, because she had not eaten anything. Little by little Gandhi managed to feed it. Chaca is slightly better than before.

"Sir, I found her" called the nurse to hand Chaca a piece of print out paper.

Chaca looked at Gandhi, pulling both corners of her lips forming a hopeful smile.
