Duda But Perjaka

Duda But Perjaka
[Season 2] Like being hit by a Heavy Load

Slowly, Chaca stepped in, followed by her husband. The doctor greeted the two with a warm smile. A blast of cold air from the AC made Chaca goosebumps instantly.

"Please sit down, what's the complaint, Chatrine?" ask a doctor in front of them.

"Doctor, we've been married for almost a year. But, why haven't you been pregnant yet, Doc? Our age includes productive age.

Chaca squeezed her fingers, Gandhi who saw the anxiety of his wife grasping tightly one of his hands.

"Well before, I'd like to ask you a few questions. Have you ever used contraception during intercourse?" ask the doctor slowly.

Chaca shook her head quickly, "Never, Doc," she said.

"Well, then has your menstrual cycle been smooth?" ask the doctor back.

Chaca gasped, she swallowed the saliva with great difficulty. Eyes glazed. Fear began to fall on him. Gandhi, who saw his wife suddenly pale, immediately grabbed her shoulders.

"Is that really important, Doc? Actually, since before I got married, my menstrual cycle was irregular. Sometimes once a month, sometimes two or three months. After marriage, last month I had my period, and this month is not Doc" Chaca said in a trembling tone.

The doctor nodded slowly, "Of course. All of these menstrual cycle problems are sometimes affected by the condition of the body at certain times, such as because of fatigue," said the doctor.

"Medical cycle problems that affect fertility are caused by several factors including; infection, unstable weight, excessive diet, severe stress, uterine cancer, uterine fibroids, diseases due to bleeding disorders, etc, and the use of drugs that cause fluctuations in hormone levels" added the doctor again.

"Did you smoke or drink alcohol?" The doctor's question made Chaca seem to be hit by a very heavy burden.

His head felt intense pulsating. Her tears began to wash both her cheeks. He kept on looking down until he sobbed. Gandhi hugged her tightly and rubbed her back gently.

"Dear, relax. Let's listen to the doctor's explanation. Don't think the no-no" Gandhi said slowly.

Chaca wiped her tears slowly, both eyes and the top of her nose turned red. He let go of her hug for a moment, "I'm sorry, Doc. I used to drink a lot of hard drinks. How do I get my fertility back?" chaca asked back in tears.

The doctor smiled, "In addition to medical treatment, switch to a healthy lifestyle by eating a balanced nutritious diet. Then, stay away from free radical pollution, such as air pollution and cigarette smoke. Finally, regular exercise and adequate rest is very helpful to get a smooth menstrual cycle without interference" he explained gently.

The doctor offered to do a fertility test? Among them are physical examinations, medical history records, and gynecological examinations. The physical examination is done by being touched to determine the anatomical shape of the female reproductive organs, such as the breast, thyroid gland in the neck, and **** *.

"No, Doc!" reject Gandhi quickly.

"Well, I'll write down a prescription to help normalize your menstrual cycle. Follow the advice I mentioned earlier. If the medicine runs out, don't forget to come back here again" the doctor said, handing over a scrap of prescription paper.

Gandhi accepted it, "Thank you very much, Doc," he said, shaking hands.

"Either. Patience, effort and prayer. The rest leave the above. The spirit is Chatrine, you can definitely," said the doctor again.

Chaca nodded then shook her hand. They both left the room. Gandhi was soon queuing at the drug counter. Chaca sat in the waiting chair, she kept daydreaming.

Until Gandhi returns, Chaca is unaware of it. His gaze was empty, his tears occasionally dripping. Regretfully, that one word was now rooted in his heart.

"Honey," called Gandhi and grabbed Chaca in his arms.

"If I had not been that wild, if I had never touched those drinks, if time could have been turned back. I'm sorry, Mas." Chaca's tears wet Gandhi's shirt.

Gandhi could not bear to see it that way. She kept stroking Chaca's long hair.

"Honey, you should be grateful, if you weren't wild how could we meet? Calm down, everything's gonna be fine. You can get pregnant. I don't want to get pregnant fast either, do I? God will give it at the right time. Remember the doctor said, you can't stress. Focus is the same as college, honey," said Gandhi.

Chaca let go of his embrace, "But what about Mommy and Daddy? They must be disappointed I couldn't give him a grandchild quickly" Chaca said slowly.

Gandhi took a long breath. He touched his wife's hands and kissed her alternately.

"That's one of the reasons I brought you to live alone. So that you don't feel depressed. I'll talk later, please don't think too much, dear," Gandhi said.

Chaca sighed in relief. She is grateful to have a husband like Gandhi. Chaca gave a kiss on her husband's cheek. Gandhi was surprised because he did it in a public place.

"Don't be here, honey. Let's go home now, at home" whispered Gandhi.
