Duda But Perjaka

Duda But Perjaka
Chapter 37

It was a busy day for Gandhi. He cleaned the room first, put all his clothes in the closet.

After that, clean up the whole new house. A job not too difficult for him. Because I have been used to it since childhood.

While Ayu was still languishing in his room since he came earlier. Until late in the afternoon, the woman had just left the room due to hunger.

"Mas! It's Gandhi!" she called out to her husband.

There was no reply, he was upset. Walk towards the kitchen which is only a few steps away from where it stands.

He looked around the clean. Then his eyes caught the hood of saji at the table. It opened slowly which turned out there was already food with a simple side dish.

"Would you wake up?" As soon as Gandhi did, he kept trying to be nice to his wife.

"Is this food doang?" Not heeding Gandhi's words, Ayu pulled out a chair and sat on it.

"Udah dimasakin is still protesting. If you do not eat yaudah. Last night I gave you some shopping money, right? You don't want to cook" Gandhi said, starting to eat his food.

White rice, spinach vegetables, anchovy sauce and fried tempeh. Gandhi had a simple nature. He doesn't like anything too much, even now he can afford it.

Ayu had to eat that food. His stomach could no longer be compromised.

"Tomorrow I've started work. You buy it, put it in the fridge. Can cook, right? My back sometimes dissolves. Don't wait" Gandhi said after sipping tea that warmed his throat.

Not yet had time to answer Gandhi had moved from his seat and washed his former food. There was admiration in Ayu's mind. A faint smile rose on his lips. In the heart cheer happy because it was met even destined to marry a man who was not even known at all.

After eating, Ayu took a shower. "Mas! Where's the washing machine?" pekik Ayu from the bathroom near the kitchen. Because the bathroom is inside, it's only in Gandhi's room.

The distance not too far away made his voice sound clear by Gandhi.

"Nothing! Wash your hands!" sahut Gandhi in his room.

"What?" yell Ayu again. "Gini day wash your hands" he added.

"Hisses! A million is enough?" refute Ayu in annoyance.

"Enough is not enough. Made an impromptu wedding yesterday."

After that there was no sound. Ayu kicked the tub that was in front of her. He was forced to wash his clothes with his hands. Only his own clothes. Gandhi had washed his own clothes.

Meanwhile, Chaca was already preparing in her gray white uniform. He walked past his parents who were having breakfast.

"Cha, breakfast," scolded the mother.

Chaca didn't heed the call. He kept walking towards the exit. The driver was ready to wipe the windshield. Knowing his employer was ready, he immediately opened the car door.

Without saying a word. The car then drove on the road which was still a bit quiet. Because it was too early.

"Stop! Mang!" chaca stopped the driver.

"Is there anything left behind, Neng?" tanyanya looked at Chaca from the rearview mirror.

"No."

Chaca got out of the passenger seat, opened the steering door, "Mang Maman started today Chaca brought her own car" he said, bowing his head.

"Tap. but, Neng." The driver would not dare. Afraid that her boss would get mad at her.

"Daddy's my business! Just calm. I'll say it later" Chaca explained.

"Buruan, Mang! I have a SIM. Take it easy" he added again when the driver was unmoved.
