Duda But Perjaka
Chapter 50

Pain, tightness now encircles Chaca's heart. A reality that shakes his world. If possible, Chaca would rather go with her biological parents. Than living with strangers.

"I don't want to be born! I don't want to live with Mommy and Daddy! Why didn't I just die?" chaca yelled sobbing.

Gandhi tightened his embrace. He was crying because he was experiencing the same thing. The difference is, the mother finds it and takes care of it lovingly, despite living in simplicity.

Alice immediately dropped her body, resting at Chaca's feet, grabbing Chaca's hand that was tightly coiled around Gandhi's waist.

"Sorry Mommy and Daddy, son!" he said full of regret was also accompanied by his sobs.

Gandhi's hand kept pressing Chaca's head against his chest. Rubbing her hair gently, giving her strength with her affection.

"Honey, calm yourself" whispered Gandhi.

"Sorry, Cha," Alice repeated once more.

"Tante, wakeup. Don't be like this" Gandhi asked Alice to stand up.

Alice shook her head, insisting on staying calm before getting an apology from Chaca. Pasting Chaca's palm on her cheek that had been flooded with tears.

"Cha" please Gandhi. He could not bear to see such an old man.

"sickness, Om. It hurts my heart" Chaca said in a hoarse voice.

Until suddenly Chaca's embrace loosened, sobs were not heard anymore, his body increasingly heavy supported Gandhi's arm.

"Astagfireullah, Cha! Chaca wake up, honey!" Gandhi patted Chaca's cheek. He panics because Chaca suddenly faints.

"The cha! Quickly take him to the room. Dad, call the Doctor!" alice shouted in panic.

The little body in Gandhi's arms brydal style. Alice ran upstairs to open the door to Chaca's room.

Slowly, Gandhi placed it on Chaca's large bed. Take off her house slippers. "Tante, is there any wind oil?" ask Gandhi straighten Chaca's legs.

Alice nodded and ran to find what Gandhi had asked for. Not long after, he arrived. His hands trembled as he handed the oil over.

"Honey," he called to caress the top of Chaca's head.

"Om," Chaca replied in tears.

"Don't cry, I'm always with you. We are both lewatins" Gandhi said, closing his head to Chaca.

Alice and Alexander watched the child. Seeing the sincerity of Gandhi who seemed to love Chaca very much.

Then the Doctor interrupted the intimacy in their grief. Starting to check on Chaca, Gandhi drifted away a little.

"The test is very low" the doctor said after examining Chaca's blood pressure. "Chaca is in shock? Don't mind too much. I prescribed blood and vitamin supplements. Drink it once a day. For other drugs can be taken 3x a day." The doctor prescribes the medication.

Chaca just nodded, the doctor handed Alexander the prescription and said goodbye.

"Cha, don't gini, son. Sorry Mommy, Chaca is Mommy's and Daddy's son, after all." Alice approached and clasped Chaca's weak fingers.

"Where was Chaca born, Mom?" tanyakanya.  Alice was silent.

"Where was Chaca born?" repeat it again.

"Mother's Homes of Hope, Son. Why why?"

Chaca wakes up, Alice tries to help but is pushed aside by him. Chaca looked at Gandhi.  "Om" he said.

Gandhi approached, supporting Chaca's weak body. His legs were about to get off the bed.

"Where are you going, Cha? Rest first, you haven't recovered yet" prevent Alice from touching Chaca's arm.

But Chaca threw a sharp glare at him. Gandhi understood how Alice was feeling, so he rubbed Alice's arm slowly, nodding. I hope everything will be okay.

"Tante, trust me." Alice said softly as Gandhi walked through it while looking at Chaca.
