44. Waiting Dusk
And now, Earth sits alone at the end of the bridge where she and Dusk used to watch the sun set together. He had sent messages to Dusk several times and invited him to meet at the place, but there was not a single reply he got from Dusk.
Maybe it was very busy today, he thought. Last night, the father of Senja told him that his daughter had a meeting outside with their client. But is it so busy that it never had time to reply to a single message that Earth sent for him? Or did he intentionally not want to reply to her?
I don't know, obviously the Earth will still be waiting for him there.
