9. My Guardian Angel

“Stop!” yells Earth at the two Riko's men who are fighting her assistant alone.

“Stop or you will regret later,” threaten Earth firmly.

They stopped and looked at each other. But then Riko walked leisurely towards them while clapping. His sneaky grin was clearly drawn on his face.

“Wah, wow, well, I did not expect again you want to be a guardian angel for my Senjaku,”, said Riko who was staring at Earth in a distance that is not so close.

“How can you call him your Gymnast while he hates you so much?” balas Bumi is no less spicy. Earth wants to make it clear to Riko that Dusk does not belong to Riko. 

“Are you not so busy that you always interfere in my affairs with him, Mr Bumi Langit Aerospace?” ask Riko while emphasizing each word of the Earth's long name.

Earth was not surprised when Riko already knew him. Who doesn't know him, the richest young businessman in town. Maybe it's just Dusk who doesn't know who he really is.

The earth pulled the tip of his lips. He did not feel disturbed when Riko already knew who he was.

“I'm not busy. But protecting Dusk at this time is one of my activities, Mr. Riko Mahendra,” replied Earth by calling the long name Riko.

Riko's surprised. The Earth knows about him too. Given that Bumi and his family are very powerful people in the city, making himself the guts had shrunk. He doesn't want Earth to destroy his family's company.

The Earth, which is usually able to control its emotions, is even provoked by the words Riko. He strongly disliked Riko's words which seemed to underestimate Dusk's self-esteem. Although she is not yet familiar with Dusk, but her instincts say that Dusk is a good girl.

“Your name is very brave to insult the person I protect, even though you know for yourself who I am and how I can easily destroy you and your family,” said the threatening Earth.

“It's between me and you. It has nothing to do with my family. If you're a real man, face me! Don't take refuge behind your power!” reply Riko who had been overwhelmed by the responsibility to withdraw.

The radiance of the Earth's eyes increasingly revealed an aura of anger and hatred towards the man before him. Without saying much, the Earth immediately advanced and landed a very strong blow on Riko's face so that he fell to the floor.

Bugh. Bugh. Bugh.

The earth just hit Riko repeatedly. Riko's men did not stay silent to see his boss beaten. One of them wants to kick the Earth from behind, but is quickly prevented by Jefri, his assistant. Then there was a 3 on 2 fight.

Meanwhile Dusk could only see them hitting each other. His eyes cannot be seen from the earth. The man helped her twice. He even fought just to defend her. The man was willing to sacrifice for his safety. The man secretly touched his heart.

Dusk kept watching them attack each other without being able to do anything. He could only pray from inside the car so that the man who helped him did not get hurt because he had defended him.

Riko and his men are defeated by Bumi and Jefri. Riko looked battered and sprawled on the asphalt. Earth then pulls Riko's shirt collar.

“Remember my words, for I will never repeat them again. If once again you dare to mess with Dusk, I will not think twice about destroying you and your family. Even just bothering him from a distance, you I don't allow.”

Every word spoken from the mouth of the Earth was like a dagger pierced into Riko's ear. Riko knew Earth wasn't messing around with her threat. The already helpless Riko was only able to nod a few times. After that, the Earth releases the collar of Riko's shirt roughly. He turned to his car and Jefri behind him.

The worried face of the twilight now looks very happy. He is happy that Earth can defeat Riko and his men. Dusk immediately got out of the car and ran towards the Earth.

Without warning, Dusk immediately scattered himself into the embrace of the Earth suddenly. The earth that did not expect to be greeted like that until surprised and quickly held his body so that he did not fall back with Dusk.

“Thanks. Thank you always be there for me,” said Dusk who has been leaning on the chest of the field belongs to Earth.

His hand was already floating in the air about to return the embrace of Dusk, but then he pulled it again. He does not want to dissolve in feelings that are too foreign as it is today. He is still not sure of his feelings.

“Do you always feel comfortable in my arms?” ask Bumi while looking down to see Dusk who was still at home leaning on his chest.

Dusk just awakened. Then quickly took off his embrace. “Ma-sorry,” said Dusk quietly barely audible.

“You are safe. He won't bother you anymore,” Earth said flatly.

“Thanks. Thank you for helping me again. Your hand gets hurt like that. Hmmm...how about I take you to the hospital now? Think of it as a thank you for helping me.”

“You want to thank me?”

Dusk nodded.

“If you really want to thank, then it is enough to take good care of yourself and not do things that can harm you.”

“Only that?” tanya Dusk is possessed by the Earth.

“Go home. They won't bother you anymore. Where's your car?” ask Earth.

“It's there.” Dusk pointed to his car which was not far from where they were now.

“Take your car and go home,” Earth's word.

The earth goes back into his car followed by Jefri who sits in the driver's seat.

The car's been turned on. Suddenly Dusk knocked on the back door glass of the car. The earth lowered its glass and looked towards Dusk without speaking.

“Once again thank you. Oh yeah, but what's your name? We've met a few times but I don't even know what your name is?” ask Dusk while slightly looking down.

The earth did not answer, it turned its gaze forward.

“Jef, go!”

“Good, Mr.”

Dusk surprised. Instead of answering his question, the man closed the windshield. Then the car moved slowly leaving Dusk trying to knock on the car glass to hold them.

“Hey, hey, wait...”.

“Hey, answer my question first!”

“My guardian angel.....what's your name..?”.

Dusk screamed in the back but the car kept moving away.

The Earth pulled the corner of her lips when she heard Dusk call her the Guardian Angel. He liked that Dusk gave him such a title.

Guardian Angel? You're happy to call people as you please.
