Chapter 46 Marriage

Today arrived, the day where Gio and Reni got married. I didn't come on purpose because I didn't want them to know that I was in this town.

Celine plans to come out of respect for the two of them who came to give her their own wedding invitation.

Luckily their wedding was held on a weekday, so I was able to drive Celine to attend their wedding held in a building with a luxurious and lively concept.

I'm sure it was Reni who took care and prepared it. As we all know, Reni is not a simple type of woman, she likes things that smell luxurious because it is her life background that is far from simple words.

I forced Celine to be able to drive her to Gio and Reni's wedding because I was really worried about her. Moreover, tonight I was really fascinated when I picked up Celine who was preparing to attend their wedding.

Celine is very beautiful and graceful with a simple but elegant dress that looks very elegant looking fit on her body so that her curves look beautiful and her hair is lifted up with a little curly on the front. My eyes are like finding a treasure that so many people have been looking for.

"Cel, don't go in. You better cancel the intention to go in there," I said when the car was in the parking lot of the wedding building Gio and Reni took place.

"You don't have to worry about Al. I can take care of myself. Do you want to come inside Al too?" Celine took her joke out on me.

"You're Cel, already know I'm so excited to meet them even taught to go inside. And I'm really worried about you Cel. You're really pretty today Cel, I'm afraid Gio is bothering you again after this," I didn't expect me to say all my anxieties from now on.

Celine was stunned, maybe she didn't expect if I told her that. I feel like a man who is worried and jealous when his partner will meet his ex.

A few seconds later he laughed, maybe so that the atmosphere was not awkward and I did not feel ashamed of him. What an understanding woman, right?

"Haha... Al... Al...he is married now, and I only honor their invitation. Just congratulate them Al, nothing more. And it might take only a few minutes. We'll have dinner outside later. You don't have to worry about Al" he said to calm me down who looked very worried about him.

"But Cel you-"

"I always dress up like this Al when it comes to parties. And Gio knows it. So, there was no way he was fascinated with this ex-wife he had betrayed. Being betrayed meant that he was bored. Take it easy" he said, chuckling.

"Okay just for a little while Cel, just a few minutes, not more," I said decided to let Celine into the event alone, without me.

I could only be silent and restless sitting in the car waiting for him. I was really nervous, I couldn't let Celine go to meet Gio, even in a very crowded place like this.

To get my mind off, I took my salary and I pressed my wife's contact. I called Diana because honestly I miss my family so much, miss my kids, Dave and Laura.

For a few days Diana had never contacted me, and I was the one who always called her and sent her messages.

Now I'm making a video call with Dave and Laura in Diana's arms. I don't know what luck this time my call was immediately raised by Diana. This is a video call. You can imagine not how happy my heart is right now.

Dave chatted a lot about his friends and school, while Laura who was beside Dave looked very adorable with her laugh when she was colonized by her brother.

Our video call ended a few minutes before Celine came because Diana told Dave to re-learn.

Oh my poor Dave, he shouldn't have learned that hard at his age who still needed to play. I felt guilty for not being able to go with him and get him to play like I did when I came home on the weekend.

"Hi Al, sorry for a long time," Celine said as she got into my car.

"Father Cel, I just finished talking to Dave," I replied with a big smile because I was happy at the moment.

"You're so happy Al, I'm happy too. How are they doing?" celine said with a sweet smile.

"As usual Cel, we only spoke for a short while because Diana told him to relearn" I said with a bitter smile.

"Propat Al. Isn't this a good start because your wife's picking up your phone? It is possible that after this they will follow you to this city," Celine comforted me with her words.

"Hopefully Cel. What was that inside?" ask me enthusiastically.

"The rest of the friends are in Al. They asked you and.." Celine's words hung up, she seemed hesitant to say it.

"And what's Cel? Did they bother you or corner you?" I asked impatiently.

"They know you're in this town Al. And they know that we meet often" he said with a bitter smile.

"Then... What do they say? It seems like what they say makes you sad Cel," I guessed from the look on his face.

Celine looked out the car window, taking my eyes off her face. He was trying to cover something up.

"It's better that we eat now, I'm hungry" he said with a smile forced to divert the conversation.

I know something's wrong, something's going on in there. I really blame myself for not being able to protect Celine who must have fought alone to face them all in there.

What the hell is going on? What did they say and do to Celine so Celine wasn't as happy as she was? these questions can only be asked in my heart.

I'll find out what's going on in there. I'll protect Celine no matter what. Because Celine was the only female friend who was sincere to me. He can guide me, direct me so that I don't make mistakes back and he never bothers me like Reni did to me.

"Cel, what's really going on?" ask me to return with the driving position of my car.

"There is nothing Al. Never mind, focus on driving" he said in a soft voice and forced smile.
