It's been six months since Vincent's arrival into this world. It has been going through various events and problems since then, but now its days seem calm. There was no extraordinary and life-threatening event like the one he had gone through at the beginning of his journey in the new world. Because of that too, Vincent has plenty of time to learn, whether about this new world or about the power that comes from the games he plays.
Speaking of the games he plays, Vincent gets some cards he can play on the same front. All the items he had had learned, whether it was an unreasonable weapon that went from a joke to a futuristic armor that gave him a level of strength. And not just one, after he had learned everything he had and conducted a few experiments with item description clues, he felt he could go further if a powerful enemy came his way, almost confident.
But behind all the things he likes to learn, one thing that makes him a bit annoyed and almost hateful.
Thanks to his status as a nobleman and his control over Gehena, the worst thing comes to Vincent who is a document, so much about the administration and everything that concerns his status as a Baron and the boss of the organization he conquered.
Sitting in the mansion he had just bought in the capital, Vincent stared at the stack of documents before him with a look of disdain, as if it was the dirtiest thing in the world.
"I hate my status." Murmured Vincent who reluctantly began to read one of the documents before him. Vincent also finally realized why his boss used to be a grumpy and grumbled when it came to inappropriate work, it was because now he also felt a headache that his boss had, even more than that.
Matilda who was in the same room, noticed the man who was his master now. His face buckled in a frown, his eyes looking annoyed as he continued to grumble about other things. This was the usual sight he saw as Vincent sat in his office with a pile of documents on his desk.
It is easy for Matilda to know that Vincent does not like these things, especially since Vincent himself does not hide his dislike.
With the initiative, the prostitute who had now turned into a personal assistant as well as the person who was given responsibility for the organization called Gehena, walked up to the seat of her master. His two delicate hands touched his old broad shoulders and began massaging his stiff shoulders, something his master would greatly appreciate.
"Maybe it's better if you take a break, Mr. Vincent." Matilda suggested as she continued massaging her master's shoulder.
Vincent did not immediately answer the question and simply leaned back in his chair while closing his eyes, enjoying a touch that relaxed his stiff muscles.
"Good idea, maybe a really long vacation can relax me." Answer Vincent.
"My master can't possibly just run away leaving his responsibility, right?" Asked Matilda in an amused tone.
"That's what I was thinking, I was thinking of running away from all these shitty things and enjoying myself before bigger problems came." Vincent replied nonchalantly, confirming what his assistant had said.
"Talking about the matter, Lady Celestine has given has given us a list and evidence related to the person she believes to be the traitors in the noble ranks."
"Thank you to the brothels we have, it seems like those fools are so confident in leaking the information they have to a mere whore." Vincent added cynically.
Thanks to Eclipse and thanks to their illegal business, Vincent has the means to get good information. One of them was the brothel that now belonged to him with many changes here and there. At first he wanted to close the division, but Matilda advised against it because of the advantage they would get and Vincent agreed, but with a lot of changes. He made the brothel have many rules with many guards ready to throw a brave customer past the thing he specified, it was solely because he empathized with Matilda and did not want the same fate to happen later on.
Of the few divisions that Eclipse left, there was one division that Vincent closed without thinking much and that was the division of drugs and drugs. He closed it without a care because he knew there would be more losses to be received than profits. Meanwhile, there were also some who were on defense and also re-reformed to fit Vincent's own selira.
Back in time, Vincent seemed to be pondering something that made Matilda curious.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Are you thinking of something?"
"Yes, something like that but it's not a matter of work." Vincent opened one of his eyes and raised his head to look at Matilda.
"What is that if I may know, sir?"
"Something this world has." Vincent said. "Tell me, the world has many races, right?"
"Yes." Yeah." Matilda replied who was a little confused as to where this conversation was headed.
"Some have natural talent too, right?"
"Yes." Yeah." Matilda answered briefly.
"Tell me, there's a race out there that was born a soldier, right?"
"Of course, but what do you want with that."
"A hiring plan to search for talent users or 'material art', martial arts are annoying to be enemies but would be great if it were allies. It did not matter what race they came from, whether it was human or not did not matter. The only thing I want is their talent and their cooperation. If they give loyalty, it'll be much more appreciated."
"But why?"
Vincent just took out a document from his drawer and gave it to Matilda. Read quickly what the document contained until Matilda's eyes widened.
"Cannot be. You gather strength for this?" Matilda did not believe it.
"really. It turns out that the enemy of the ally I have here is not a small fish in this kingdom. That's why I need a lot of strength, as well as a means to release stress with a business trip - or you could call it a vacation to sound fun."
Matilda sighed after hearing Vincent's words. He had time to wonder at first why he insisted on taking over the Eclipse rather than destroying it, and whenever he asked Vincent, he simply replied 'Only as insurance', things Matilda doesn't understand.
But as he read the documents given to him, it turned out that his master was more than ready to anticipate the problems to come.
Something his master would say, to clear up all the crap that had to be sorted out in order to save a definite victory.
