EX-SOLDIER: In Another World

EX-SOLDIER: In Another World
Peaceful City before Storm - Part 4

A magical girl gripped the iron bars that tightly locked herself away. So much power that the girl gave to the bars that someone would think that the witch was trying to tear the bars. Cacian came out constantly from his mouth, demanding to be set free because he did not commit the sin that deserved this.

One hour.

That was the time Vincent deformed in his mind when he saw Lisa who continued to stand before the bars while cursing. Throwing insults at the noble knights who had imprisoned the two of them while shouting for freedom.

"Lisa, calm yourself."

Said Vincent who was sitting leaning on the floor of the dungeon. It was cold and damp, very uncomfortable. But who can he complain, because technically he is a prisoner, after all he has experienced worse things in the past when he was caught and held hostage.

"But Vinne! This is not fair! We're not doing anything that deserves this!"

Lisa's tone of voice sounded annoyed and frustrated, clearly not accepting of this state of affairs.

Vincent on the other hand had thoughts as to why he was in prison. The basic thing is that people are afraid of what they do not know. Then from the expressions of those who had captured Vincent, it was clear he saw fear on their faces. There was more about the reports of the roar of 'beast beast' which was the result of the sound of his weapon, it had practically made some of the townspeople who heard it to panic if one of the guards was any indication.

Another assumption about the situation was that the Kingdom was at war. Actions that create panic or riots around the city will be considered as an intruder or attacker. The thought is derived from the lack of technology in this world with the thoughts of its people that Vincent can compare with the thinking of people in Roman times.

How troublesome.

Especially with the many headaches he received because of it. Now maybe he can get rid of one problem to reduce his headache pain in a man's way, maybe. But Vincent hopes it will work because he can't think clearly with the beautiful witch who keeps throwing dirty words around him.

"Are you not tired?"

Vincent asked as he looked at Lisa who was still standing in front of the bars. The question made Lisa turn to look at Vincent with a sharp glare, obviously Lisa is still upset with him because of this situation but Lisa can't completely blame Vincent because the other part is his idea to see how Vincent's weapon works.

"Here is what I give you."

Vincent said as he waved his hand, inviting Lisa to come closer. The curious Lisa walked up to him and then stood before Vincent who was sitting down.

"What is ing-"

Before Lisa can finish her sentence, Vincent pulls Lisa's arm until she stumbles forward, falling on Vincent's back, an act that surprises Lisa. Not getting there, Vincent hugs Lisa from behind and puts his head on Lisa's shoulder, making Lisa a little uncomfortable and starts trying to break away albeit weakly.

"Hey! What are you doing, Vinne!"

"Calm down. Cool your head, anger will take us nowhere. Also, hush. You've been so noisy for the last hour."

"Vinne!"

Lisa tries to break away with a weak attempt from Vincent's embrace. But it didn't last long until Lisa gave up the fight and just sat there. It's not that Lisa doesn't like this act, it's just that it's embarrassing with Vincent's initiative not knowing the place. A pink tinge was painted on Lisa's face as she imagined what would happen next, yet she brushed aside the lewd things in her mind as quickly as it came with a headband.

"Quiet okay?"

"Uh."

Lisa nodded, slowly starting to feel comfortable with her current position if not too embarrassing. After all they are in a prison, not a garden or a romantic place to share love.

Once again Lisa nodded, resuscitating her body to Vincent to make herself comfortable in an embrace.

"So, be calm and be patient for now." Lisa nodded again. "At the same time I don't like to see a beautiful woman like yourself spouting words like a dirty sailor. It doesn't suit you."

"We'll be fine, I promise."

With Vincent's words, Lisa finally relaxed by occasionally sliding her body deeper into Vincent's arms, making herself as comfortable as possible while enjoying the warmth and tenderness Vincent gave her. The very thing Lisa missed.

...

Lisa isn't the kind of woman to throw herself into the arms of the man she meets, no she isn't. Lisa always looked after herself, always being graceful and resisting in an assertive manner if she disliked or agreed to it.

But when he met Vincent he felt a sense of awe. It appears when Lisa first sees Vincent, where Vincent is fighting the Orcs alone. Lisa recalled that moment, the way Vincent moved, the way he attacked with all the calmness and reckoning he thought was graceful.

At that time Lisa thought that Vincent was a witch and she had never seen a witch fight like the way Vincent fought, and from there awe arose.

Then Lisa saw the way Vincent spoke politely and respectfully, a thing that reminded him of a nobleman. One thing reminds him before he runs away from home and becomes an adventure. Vincent is also a pleasant person in his opinion, although he is somewhat rigid and behavior exceeds his age. An attitude that reminded him back to when he was still a noble.

That's where the feeling of liking comes from, and Lisa loves Vincent. Liking her in a sense is not love or romantic feeling, just admiration and respect until a mischievous thought gives her an idea.

'I'll show you the real color of this man.'

That's what she thought after they succumbed to a group of Gray Wolf and Lisa started flirting with Vincent aggressively. Giving compliments, lewd jokes and even a touch that Lisa is sure makes any man like the things he does.

But no, Vincent did not take those things seriously which made him even more determined.

Now she was sitting, being hugged by the man she had seduced for the past few days. Surprisingly he felt comfortable about this and even wanted more. The way he calms, gives her a gentle touch and holds her in warmth. Things that make Lisa's mind melt in comfort.

'It looks like my plan backfired.'

Lisa thought as she began to feel tired in her eyes and ended up falling asleep because she was comfortable in Vincent's arms.

…

Night had enveloped the fortress city with the people inside having returned home and rested. Several people were seen on the streets with several guards still patrolling to ensure safety.

But one thing the citizens of the castle town did not know that there was a group of black-robed people who entered their city with a small platoon of soldiers hiding in the forest not far from the fortress city, to carry out an attack.
