Love is blind
One month passed, now that the time that Shanty gave to Dio was up. And today also Miss Shanty with her husband went to the capital to approach Dio and ask for answers to her efforts over the past three months.
Dio, who seems to have found out that his parents will come to see him to the capital, looks to be looking for a way not to meet his parents. Dio even asks Daniel to lie to Shanty if they have an important meeting at Daniel's company and it will take a while.
"Go away. Looks like both of your parents have already come." Send Daniel to his best friend.
Dio clicked his tongue seeing Daniel blatantly expelling himself. "I don't want to. I still want to be here." Press Dio.
"You are this. As a man you should be able to account for your words." Press Daniel.
"Be quiet! You know clearly if I didn't agree to my mother's request months ago." Ketus Dio's.
"You shall not dispute your mother's words either. It's the same as accepting the challenge Aunt Shanty gave me." Said Daniel.
Dio let out a long breath. For the past three months he has always tried to bring Calista back to his homeland but his efforts ended in vain because Calista still insisted on completing his education first.
"Dio, are you sure Calista's out there loyal to you? At the age of no longer young Calista seems calm enough not to think about marriage in his life." Daniel said carefully.
Hearing Daniel's question made Dio look at Daniel sharply. "I told you that Calista was loyal to me. She was so obsessed with her education and career that she didn't think much about marriage" Dio replied.
Hearing Dio's answer certainly made Daniel want to laugh but he kept it in his heart.
It is clear that Calista's attitude is very selfish because it does not think about Dio's age is increasing and is already very worthy of a family. As a man who used to be in a long relationship with Queen, Daniel can feel if Calista does not love Dio too much seen from the way he does not want to be close to Dio. Unlike the Queen who always tried to be close to him.
"Have Calista been so jealous?" Daniel asked to be sure of what he was thinking at the moment.
Dio shook his head. "He trusted me so much that he never acted that way. He never even had a problem with anyone I went to." Dio replied smiling as if the attitude of his lover was very proud of him.
"Uhuk." Daniel coughed at hearing that.
Stupid jerk. Daniel told Dio but only in his heart.
"What's wrong with you?" Dio asked as he handed the water to Daniel.
"Nothing." Daniel answered and gulped down the water that Dio had given him.
Dio also chose silence not to continue his words. While Daniel now looks at his best friend with a look of disbelief if his best friend is completely blinded by love.
"Dio, do you still remember how Queen behaved when we were together?" Ask Daniel then.
