Figurant Wife

Figurant Wife
It's all my fault

"Yes, he's already here. I didn't know this morning that he was going to see me. I thought the ones who came into my room were my friends." Answer Dio. Dio slightly cursed his carelessness that did not want to listen to the words of the receptionist who wanted to tell the name of who came.

"Then how? Is she okay?" Ask Hanum. Instead of thinking about what happened after they met Hanum prefer to ask the circumstances of her husband's ex-lover.

"Yes, he's fine." Dio answered, confused by his wife's question.

"Thank God then." Hanum replied with a smile.

"Why are you even asking like that? Don't you want to ask what happened between us when we met?" Ask Dio.

Hanum shook his head. "Why do I ask that. I know you're a man he can hold his words to. I'm sure you can keep my trust well. If not, it's your business with God." Hanum.

Dio was stunned to hear it. He really did not believe that his wife gave him great trust.

"Dio, I just hope you can solve the problems between you guys well." Hanum then continued.

Dio brought Hanum back into his arms. "Thank you for believing in me. I'm not wasting your trust." Answer Dio.

Hanum smiled in her husband's arms. No major problems occurred after Hanum found out if her husband met her ex-lover like what Dio had feared before. His wife was indeed a wise woman and very mature in attitude.

While in a different place, Calista appears to be crying in her room lamenting the loss of the lover she still loves so much.

"It's all my fault. If I wasn't selfish, Dio wouldn't have gone." Calista said while covering her face with both palms. Losing Dio was not an easy thing for him to accept. Dio was his dream man who understood him very well all along.

Dio struggles too much for their relationship. From Dio who always came to visit him once a month abroad without any words to complain to Dio who was so patient waiting for him back for several years.

He is back as Dio expected. But fate says otherwise, when he returns Dio is no longer his and Calista must swallow the bitter pill if her lover is married to another woman and definitely not her.

There were too many regrets Calista felt at this moment. There was nothing he could blame for all that had happened. What happened was purely because his self-centered self was concerned with education and not thinking about Dio's growing age.

I don't know what Calista should do after returning home. His ultimate goal is no longer achievable and his hopes are buried with all his memories along with Dio's.

"Cal.." Mommy Diora's voice from outside the room was not ignored by Calista.

The woman was still crying in the room and finally patted her painful chest.

"It's all my fault." He said with tears that increasingly flowed profusely wet the cheeks.
