Hard choices
"Please sit down, Richard son." Said Mama Jelita let Richard sit on the carpet he had just stretched in the middle of the house.
Richard agreed and sat on the carpet. There are not many valuables in the rented house. All that is seen are two suitcases and personal items belonging to Mama Jelita and Cita such as clothes and some work shoes owned by Cita.
"I'll make you a drink first." Mama Jelita was about to get up from her seat.
"no need. I haven't been here long." Richard answered quickly.
"All right." Mama Jelita chose to say yes to Richard's words rather than refute the man's words.
Now Mama Jelita, Cita and Richard have sat facing each other. The mind that was curious about the meaning of Richard's words that said if he wanted to help his mother but not for free just immediately questioned it again.
"I will be willing to help you but on some conditions. I am not forcing you to accept my terms. But if you don't accept you, you know the effect means I don't want to help you." Richard said convoluted but the goal remains one that requires Cita and Mama Jelita to agree terms from him.
"Say what conditions must we neglect so that you will help pay my debts? I'll be willing to accept it." Mama Jelita said quickly. Instead of going to jail, he would rather accept Richard's terms.
Richard nodded his head. He smiled in anguish as his opponent now began to submit to his words.
Cita and Mama Jelita were now quietly waiting for Richard to say what conditions they had to do so that Richard would pay off Mama Jelita's debts.
Richard's gaze was now on Mama Jelita. "You must want to work in my house as a maid." Richard said firmly and managed to make Mama Jelita and Cita round their eyes.
"What's? You asked my mom to work as a maid?" Repeated Hard mind.
Richard nodded his head justifying the words of Cita.
Richard smiled in anguish at her. "I'm not forcing you and your mother to accept it. But if you don't accept it, I don't want to help pay off the debt either. And.." Richard's words stopped until he made Mama Jelita and Cita look at him with a curious face. "And that means you chose Aunt Jelita in jail." Next later.
"No, I don't want to go to jail." Mama Jelita immediately replied quickly. "I will accept those terms." Follow Mama Jelita.
"Mah..." Cita raised a protest stare sign of disapproval on her mother.
"Cita, do you want Mama in prison rather than accepting Richard's terms?" Ask Mama Jelita.
Cita fell silent. The choice right now is a difficult one. Confused as to how.
"I leave everything to you. But I emphasize again if there are still some more conditions that you must accept so that I want to help pay off your debt." Richard.
Cita was made to hear it. He felt stuck with Richard's offer at this moment. On one hand he did not want his mother imprisoned and on the other hand he did not want to accept the conditions given by Richard.
"I'll give you one night to think. If you agree, tomorrow morning Cita can come to my room to sign the agreement." Richard.
