The story begins when Jack defeats the dragon one hit by shooting it at the weak point of a dragon, an eye area with a smooth surface so that a barrett sniper bullet can penetrate it into the dragon's brain. After, determined to choose free and revenge now he went on a speed boat to the nearest city on the island of Borneo.

Jack is a blue-eyed tribe which means he is a Buton tribe located in Southeast Sulawesi Province. This is the first story of Jack's journey before the 2-year time skip or before the New Era is reached and the first place he comes to is Samarinda. It took a long time to reach Samarinda just by speed boat and Jack was grateful because the professional killer provided a lot of fuel so he could arrive.

Samarinda was so quiet that no one, not even buildings and others, had been destroyed overtime by the previous devastating earthquake and human corpses scattered on all sides with claw wounds, bites and so on. Jack is careful not to meet the monsters because there are several portals open until he tries to find some food that can still be eaten.

Throughout his journey, he continued to step foot in a pool of blood with the pungent smell of a rotting human corpse. Luckily Jack found a map that leads to a city with a distance of 80 kilometers because as long as Jack continues to walk in Samarinda, he only sees corpses and a very small food supply.

Jack just needs to find a vehicle that he can use to go to the city that is a long distance away then he sees a motorbike in good condition without any damage but one obstacle is not there's gasoline. However, another problem arises that he for the first time rides a two-wheeled motor that requires balance to operate it even Jack does not know to turn it on so he is forced to push it again to find out the cause can not be lit at once looking for a guide to using the motor.

Pushing again for four days with a little food supply now he reached a bookstore then Jack looked for guidance on using the motor and he found it. After reading for so long to understand every word written in the book that he began to know to turn on the motor is to use the motor key as soon as Jack saw it but there is no key attached to it that motor.

Every trip he can enjoy the fresh air and other scenery even Jack tried the gas tight to racing on the sidewalk. However, he had an accident to make a motor light and some injuries on his body so he stopped racing by prioritizing his safety.

Jack's journey is quite short on the motorbike, which is for 75 minutes with him finally arriving in the city of Balikpapan. However, there are thousands of monsters that are sleeping so that it covers Jack's path to the city so he thinks to be able to defeat all of them because it is impossible to use a sniper barret that has five bullets left.

Jack finally got the idea to burn them all with the rest of the gasoline he had until a huge blaze made all the monsters in pain and ran here and there until one of them headed for writing jack immediately used one bullet to kill the monster.

Eventually he was able to safely enter the Balikpapan City but everything he saw were some monsters of varying sizes so Jack used a way that would kill them all but before doing so, he was looking for a place to stay away from Balikpapan City until he found the place then the gasoline line he made while looking for a safe place has now spread throughout Balikpapan City so he burned it and then the fire it spread through the city until a huge explosion occurred. A huge fire blew everything up until Jack again used Speed Boat to go to another place while looking at the scene of an explosion like a nuclear bomb immediately seen a book saying the danger if Balikpapan City exploded because there was a factory a lot of oil.

Jack went to look for another place with the food supply he had prepared beforehand.
