Chapter 31: The Upgrade

Jack's current body is very weak because his life force is constantly reduced to make Seila panic to release all of his Mana to be able to cure Jack. However, Jack's body did not show any signs of healing even his hair was completely bleached, his face paled and his body was cold.

"Jack hang on!" henry shouted with anxious and worried feelings

"I won't let someone like you die, Jack, hang on!" seila shouted while exchanging her life force just to defend Jack

The screams of the two of them instantly awaken Jack but not in the real world but the world of memory. Jack immediately put on an anxious and worried face as soon as the warm embrace he had not felt for a long time made him forget that feeling.

His mother hugged Jack gently and was full of affection.

"Ryan, are you okay if there's a problem, just talk to mom or dad!

They will definitely help you because we are family!" his mother said with a smile

"Tell me because any problem you'll solve is good!" his father said while giving the impression of being reliable

"Dad don't joke, didn't you run away the other day because you're afraid of your aunt!" said her brother while laughing

His mother and brother laughed when they remembered the incident to make Jack miss the atmosphere, while Jack forgot all that would happen to his family. He enjoys every moment with his family like eating together, playing together, sleeping together and laughing together.

His mother has a meek nature with kindness that he continues to do makes Jack amazed even all the neighbors consider his mother as a saint.

His father was very responsible to his family, every job he would do to finance his family life.

Her brother loved her so much that he would always protect her every time he did that made her smile like nothing had happened.

All the happiness he now felt was the hope he wanted until when Jack celebrated his brother's birthday there was a festive party that included all his tribe. The party is held at night by a bonfire as a midnight performance which is the tradition of their tribe when there is a birthday.

Time after time passed with happiness but there were those who lurked them from the darkness with murder. When the time showed at 11:58 now they were all preparing to light a huge bonfire and his brother was about to light the bonfire.

Midnight made their Blue Eyes all glow brightly like a Topaz Gem. As the bonfire was about to ignite suddenly an attack appeared that resulted in several dead being killed, the immediate state of panic with the hitmen continuing to launch their attacks on the adults.

Jack sees everyone being killed in a terrible way until his father takes them both away and finds a place to hide. However, Jack does not see his mother's whereabouts make him cry hysterically and keeps shouting to be released but his father hugs Jack tightly while running as hard as he can.

One arrow hit his father's leg until it was difficult to run because the movement slowed down. His father showed a furious face to his two children while telling them both to run and hide.

Bravely, his father stood up while protecting his son from every arrow shot until his entire body was filled with arrows until it knocked him to the ground. Obtaining orders from his father with the cry of his brother brought his sister run as far as possible to be invisible but the killer who targeted them was a professional.

Her brother thought of a way to save his sister just by picking up a twig cloth sharp enough then he threw his sister to the ground.

The killer examined his brother Jack's eyes.

"It's a pity that you're 17, your birthday is like death to you!" he said as he floated his sword until his brother Jack's head was cut neatly

The head was thrown with bloodstains soaking the grass and cries that did not stop flowing even after being killed.

Jack kept running....running...running but he remembered his mother as soon as he broke his brother's orders then turning back to look for his mother. As long as he ran there were a lot of corpses and it made him run even faster until he arrived at the bonfire that was still not lit.

The murderers had surrounded him but Jack focused on the bonfire as his mother was crucified and the bonfire burned until the flames burned quickly. Jack stared at the flames and his mother's black body, his eyes empty as if dead.

Instantly the world of memory began to crack because of the appearance of the figure ???

"Your mind is trying to remember this but I'm too late to make you look back on this, sorry Jack!" said Sosok ???

Jack is always strong now he shows his weak side until the cry makes a rage and revenge that will not stop until the killer dies in Jack's hands.

"It's okay because you showed me something I really wanted!

The three faces of the people who killed my family I'll make sure they suffer like he did to my family!" jack said with a sharp and frightening look

"That means you can't die!" said Sosok ???

Jack stood up and slowly his little boy's body developed until his current age, shouts from his friends were heard in the world of memory. Jack returns to the real world with his body slowly returning and his Blue Eyes replaced with new ones.
