Chapter 7: Meaning of Beloved Things

The area where Jack is located is a very dense forest with advantages like this makes Jack easy to hunt monsters without having to do a one-on-one duel at least like that until there is a Gate Hunter to enter within area.

Jack was annoyed by the man's words not even he who made a fuss but Gate Hunter named Nobel but useless if Jack told him because the man was constantly talking nonsense.

Suddenly the sound of roars coming from the east made them surprised not only that even the tree immediately collapsed with just a roar instantly made the man leave the place.

Two sharp fangs are ready to thrust into the body of its prey as well as its appearance is similar to that of a monkey but with a size quite large not comparable to the size of a King Kong.

Jack left Sniper Barrett in the tree after he went down to meet the man. There was currently no chance of winning against the King Ape who was in a great rage. Therefore, Jack could only try to succeed from the King Ape's rampage.

King Ape Monster Gate with Rank B and level 35 was just like Jack's level. Physical strength was higher than his magic power, whereas magic resistance was higher than his physical endurance. So, all Jack had to do to defeat King Ape was to use his physical strength.

"Of course it's impossible for me!" yelled Jack who was reading King Ape's profile using Analysis

King Ape banged heavily on the ground then dashed quickly towards Jack with an extremely powerful killing intent. However, King Ape instantly stopped approaching as Jack let out a chill to kill him.

"This is the only way I can make you stop thinking of me as an enemy. So, get out of here before I make soup out of your meat!" jack said with a sadistic look

King Ape fled the area until Jack was relieved because when King Ape continued to advance or ready to die, Jack would lose. Luck sided with Jack and then he looked for Sniper Barrett who was on a tree but nothing to make Jack panic because it was the last relic of Cero.

Jack panics while continuing to look for Sniper Barrett but the results are nil to make Jack who is always firm, grumpy and serious begins to show his true nature which is actually whiny when it comes to people closest to him.

Jack looked for Sniper Barrett while shedding tears suddenly appeared a short-haired woman with white and silver eyes made Jack speechless to see his figure.

"Sorry, is this yours?" ask him in English

She gives Sniper Barrett to Jack, but the language she uses doesn't understand until one of her special abilities begins.

The woman named Julia suddenly the monsters begin to gather and surround them until Jack returns to his serious self while holding his Sniper Barrett.

Immediately five mutant wolf monsters were killed quickly and neatly by Jack to make Julia amazed by his skills even Julia had prepared to take out her gun but it was not necessary because Jack was in action foregoing.

Jack takes Julia to his base and gives her permission to stay with him and leveling together to express his gratitude for the previous one.

Julia is confused why there is someone who is very concerned about inanimate objects when when she says something strange that is "passing" there is no response from Jack that he is a lover of weapons.

Julia is welcomed by Jack and even the food and drink he provides because it feels bad, just as Julia talks to ask about everything Jack does.

"Why with you is not this a little excessive and the weapon is just an inanimate object. So, are you a freak who cries if his favorite weapon disappears?" asked Julia while shouting loudly

Jack sits down and picks up his Sniper Barrett and tells Julia. Somehow Jack didn't feel worried about telling Julia why she loved the gun so much.

"It's an old story, Sniper Barrett was the weapon of someone who took care of me to be like this. Do you know the first time the appearance of the Gate when the owner of this weapon died hit by a large stone so that I could not move even a little then I used this weapon for the first time to kill the monster that caused Cero dead in front of my eyes!" jack said with a sad face

Julia misunderstands and finally he apologizes to Jack and then Julia also shows a weapon from her mother by the name of Magnum Silver.

Two silver pistols like his eyes and Julia showed her shooting skills that were directly on target making Jack scream that they both had something in common.

"It's good to see you, Julia!" jack said as he extended his hand

"It's nice to meet you too but what are you doing alone here?" ask Julia

"Of course leveling isn't you doing it too?" Jack asked back

Julia was surprised to see Jack leveling alone in Gate Class B is not this sounds ridiculous but the skills and skills of Jack when killing five monsters had previously opened his eyes Julia if Jack is strong.
