Chapter 15: Anger, Hatred and Revenge

Julia explains the two victims who will be Jack's prey.

Hanji is a Gate Hunter Rank A with achievements that are quite popular among Gate Hunters because his skills and agility in hunting monsters are no doubt. A 40-year-old has a family with one daughter, his wife doesn't like her husband's job so they both split up.

His companion was named Ryujin. He is a Gate Hunter Rank A with great skill in using sniper when the fight happens Hanji becomes the front man to kill monsters while Ryujin will guard his back. Ryujin has a sister whom he has always cared for and always loved.

"Family, they have families!" jack said with a smile

Jack again showed a smile that made Stella and Julia frightened and their location is now in a Tokyo City not far from the Hunter Association. Jack takes the information and tells Stella and Julia not to interfere in this affair.

"Let me go!" jack said with a sly smile

Tokyo is already destroyed due to Ragnarok but has been in recovery so that there are humans who have settled. Jack plans to see the lives of his prey up close by pretending to be friends for them.

One week after finding out the prey occurred a Class C Raid Gate located around Tokyo. Hanji and Ryujin join forces to protect Tokyo, so they enter Raid Gate. The current situation inside the gate was indeed quite terrible for the Gate Hunter rookies as soon as Hanji and Ryujin helped them by killing the monsters that were willing to go to the gate.

Seen the action of the two of them are so extraordinary to make the beginners immediately excited and return to fight. At that time Hanji was careless until the monster was able to enter his defense area suddenly a gun shot hit the monster's head until it exploded.

The monster they fought was Ogre.

Ogre is a monster similar to humans but has a pointed fang in its mouth that points upward. Their bodies are quite large which is why they have great physical strength depending on the color of their skin.

The Green Ogre had a normal human-sized body which was why it was agile in its moves and its main weapon was a stone axe.

The Blue Ogre has a fairly large body, which is, two-headed with different properties so that their movements are quite strange but very dangerous because it seems to fight two Ogres in one body usually Blue Ogre using a Gun.

Red Ogre is a leader who has great skills in combat. Aggressive, Agile and brutal were the ways of fighting Red Ogres with iron axe weapons. Sometimes the Red Ogre can become enraged if the opponent provokes it so that it goes into rampage mode.

Hanji and Ryujin continue to kill thousands of Green and Blue Ogres but their bosses are completely immobile.

"It's endless we have to look for Red Ogres to complete this gate!" hanji shouted while breathing heavily

"Promise let's break them all!" yelled Ryujin while preparing his sniper

Ryujin manipulates the bullet into a shot with explosive power like a bomb. The explosion killed the Green and Blue Ogre as soon as Hanji directly moved forward to look for the Red Ogre suddenly an axe swing was pointed at him.

The reflexes kept Hanji safe from the big axe swing. Red Ogre was already staring at him for a duel, Hanji instantly pulled out a sword against him.

Red Ogre immediately attacked brutally making Hanji continue to avoid his attack until the swing of the axe there was something he had to withstand but made his body thrown away.

Aghh...

Hanji vomited blood but still stood up, the Red Ogre began to aggressively attack back with a powerful swing making his axe smash the floor. Hanji instantly activated his current ability the Gate Hunter rookies saw their duel.

Raison's Sword!

Hanji dodged every attack from the Red Ogre and then launched a slash many times leaving every body of his enemy severely injured.

Hanji cut off his head until the blood flowed profusely, the excited screams of the novice Gate Hunter making the spirit flutter. The gate now opens by displaying the return gate time which Raid Gate can do again.

The battle is over with Hanji being a reliable fighter in doing Raid Gate is now his name became famous around Tokyo. His worried family hugged Hanji tightly when he came out of the gate despite being separated but the affection of the two of them to Hanji was never lost.

Ryujin made her little sister cry because she was so worried. Ryujin stroked his head gently making the atmosphere warm again. From a distance, Jack stared intently at the two of them without even blinking.

"How did you two hurt?" ask Jack who is undercover

"That's fine and thank you for protecting me then!" reply Hanji by doing a handshake with Jack

"Even if you're a beginner, there's a difference from you in that I can see you're quite skilled at using a gun so what's your name?" ask Ryujin

"Call me Eryan!" reply Jack

"Join with us do you agree, Hanji!" yell Ryujin

Hanji nodded and Jack accepted the offer happily as he got closer to his goal.

Eryan (Jack in disguise), Hanji and Ryujin together become a Gate Hunter that is quite popular in Tokyo even though only two weeks they spent with Eryan but their closeness can not be separated anymore.

Hanji considers Eryan as his son while Ryujin considers him as his friend instantly makes Eryan smile satisfied to hear that. In an event that is his wife's birthday, Jack was invited to celebrate his wife Hanji's birthday as well as Ryujin but he did not come because his sister was sick.

The not so big house with various family photos on display in the house immediately Eryan saw the photo that made him cry, the photo was Hanji along with Cero.

"Sir Eryan why are you crying?" tannya

"I just felt bad about my dad even though we weren't blood but he taught me a lot!" eryan

"Noel over there turned out to be you!" his wife Hanji

Noel immediately hugged his mother and wished her a happy birthday when Jack remembered his family and friends. The massacre and murder of his family did not make Jack forget the suffering.

At this time the killer already has a family makes Jack feel anger but this anger is very calm to make his eyes empty as if he no longer cares if it's a child or a girl Jack must vent his revenge.

The celebration was so festive, filled with laughter and warmth that Jack had forgotten all along. When the two of them were left, Hanji's wife and son were fast asleep, and Jack asked about the photo.

"Aah, uh, it's a picture of me with an old partner of mine at the time he's been a traitor to this point I keep believing the road he's been on and I realize what I used to do is a rottenness that I can't i forget. Jack, I have something to talk to you about!" hanji said with a face of wanting to cry

The night made Jack activate his blue eyes as Hanji fell silent and trembled at those blue eyes.

"Hanji, what do you want to talk to me about?" jack asked with a blank look

Hanji immediately cried and kowtowed pleading to Jack with his body that was not strong enough to withstand his guilt in the past.

"I'm sorry.I'm sorry...Eryan sorry for killing your family!" hanji said with regret

"If you had apologized like Cero, maybe I would have forgiven you, but it's been 2 years and you have a family. Had your family been killed in front of you, could you have forgiven the killer?" jack asked as he pulled Hanji's hair and stared intently at his eyes

Hanji could not say anything.

"Hanji, I'm going to go ahead and it's going to ruin my humanity. I'm going to keep going forward to take this revenge so what you sow, you have to be prepared for the consequences is not that the karma that the Gate Hunter has always had." said Jack, staring blankly

"This is not karma gate at all!" hanji said with a limp body looking at one of the blue-eyed tribes living in front of him

Hanji cries and regrets his actions before Jack kills him, there is the last word Hanji wants Jack to do.

"Eryan if your heart is still a little open to me. Please don't kill them..."

Hanji's last word was accompanied by a slash that instantly made his head throw towards the kitchen. Jack walked towards their room which Hanji meant with a blank look, filled with hatred and anger keeping his heart tightly shut.

"That's enough!" julia said, holding Jack's hand firmly

Julia cries to see Jack's condition, which has been swallowed by hatred and revenge.

"Jack doesn't have to kill their families isn't the revenge you want is the killer's death!" said Julia

Jack immediately remembered the words of Cero while training together.

"There's something you can forgive and there's nothing you can and you don't have to involve someone who doesn't do anything and doesn't even know anything about Ryan, I want you to always remember this not to kill innocent people!" said Cero with a smile

"Julia let's get out of here!" jack is back to normal

Julia was relieved to see Jack back but her gaze was still blank.

"Cero keeps looking at me lest your surveillance come loose on me. I don't know when I'll be destroyed so show me the light you've been sorry for!" muttered Jack who still held hatred, anger and revenge that was still strong in him.
