Chapter 63: I'm Above a Genius

After the duel challenge, Syoho left her class with a calm and upset expression and a girl followed her from behind until Syoho chose to talk to the girl.

"Why follow me?" syoho asked as he removed his jacket veil

The girl was an Elf with her long ears as well as natural blonde colored hair even her beauty looked very obvious because she was a descendant of pure Elves but when Syoho invited her to speak suddenly her gaze turned sadistic and gripping. However, Syoho was neither daunted nor frightened even Syoho returned the expression with a calm but very pressing gaze.

Her sea blue eyes were like a calm wave but were deadly when it went berserk in the instant of the storm the Elf woman was aware of her level with the man in front of her.

"I'm guessing, Gerlando is no match for you!" said the Elf woman while changing her eyes

"Following someone so blatantly, what do you mean doing it?" syoho asked with a sharp eye expression

The girl smiled broadly as she pointed her thumb to her chest and then loudly said that she wanted to enter the same Hunter Gate Squad as Syoho.

"Clara, the best first-year student like you!

Syoho let me into your Hunter Gate Squad!" clara said with confidence

Suddenly the wind gusts so hard that it makes Clara's blonde hair long enough to move in the direction of the wind and Syoho's expression shows her anger because she considers Clara too confident with her strength.

"The "Regu Gate Hunter was a group that would fight against monsters behind gates, portals or doors even as the Apocalypse of Chaos moved, making a move, we as Gate Hunters must risk our lives to protect civilians who can't do anything and that's the job of Gate Hunter!" syoho said with a sharp staring expression

"I know therefore making a squad with strong people will definitely create a strong group after all you are no more genius than me!" said Clara with a big smile

"Not more genius than you!" syoho said with a surprised expression

For the first time there was someone who said such a thing immediately Syoho was surprised by displaying an expression of seeing a bright light as if Clara was underestimating him.

"Your name, Clara!

Hmmmm...

You're different from the others then join me, Clara!" syoho said as she extended her hand to make a handshake

"I will join!" clara said excitedly and smiled happily

The sound of the third bell that signifies the completion of the tour around Akademik Yusshen then Syoho with Clara to the place to conduct a duel suddenly when they had arrived at the battle site, and then Syoho with Clara, there were a lot of students watching them on the top bench.

"Clara, did you know that the Blue Eye is a god-made artifact so this eye is very valuable but its use must be right at midnight or in the dark but I'm different!" syoho said as he took off his black jacket and advanced to the ring

Gerlando received all the praise from some of the first-year students and there were some who were interested in seeing the child of a genius mother when fighting then the student was a second-year and third-year child.

Full cheer headed towards Gerlando as for Syoho only his acquaintances who encouraged him and of course, Jack watched from the top of the match without being caught from them all. Clara saw a difference Syoho from before even she felt the gripping air coming from Syoho.

"Damn open your eyes and fight with me!" gerlando shouted with an annoyed expression

When the referee blew the whistle, Gerlando prepared his best attack Dragon Thunder by using a high amount of Mana. The huge explosion terrified the audience and the attack caused tremors.

Clara stared intently at the ring and then she saw Jack standing unharmed from Gerlando's dangerous attack and surprised her when she saw Syoho appear unharmed.

"You all listen up!

What are you talking about is that I look like my mother, a child born of a genius and without even trying without working hard. Genius is always those words that keep popping up in my head but I'm more on top than my mom!" syoho said with open eyes while giving his Blue Eyes active during the day

Instantly the entire match area immediately felt the gripping air of Syoho. Gerlando who had been confident to win suddenly trembled at the strong aura coming from Syoho while Clara tried to stop her trembling hand immediately she smiled without him knowing that Syoho above his current level.

"Great is great, Syoho!" clara said with the intention not to lose

"Damn it, what did you do to make a gripping event like this could it be that you cheated and told your mother to do it?

Well, it's very sad but it suits you!" gerlando said as he tried to buy time

"That's enough, let's get this over with quickly!" syoho said while wearing a blue flame that is Phoenix on his right shoulder

"Tch...

Hansor tornado!" gerlando shouted while attacking using wind type

But Syoho instantly smashed the tornado using only his right hand which he threw out like a sword instantly the shocked expressions of Gerlando and his schoolmates. Syoho slid one leg forward suddenly an invisible speed instantly made Gerlando fall unconscious from getting a powerful blow to his neck.

"The fight is over and the winner is Syoho!" shouted the referee

"Syoho is great!" clara said with an amazed expression

The audience did not pat both hands in surprise to see Gerlando easily defeated so quickly as the atmosphere began to change with Syoho closing both eyes and then leaving the match area while taking the stakes money.

"Clara, I'm above a genius which means I'm one level above my mother if you want to surpass me, take it seriously!" syoho said as he stared intently at Clara

"I will of course do!" clara said with a depressed expression when she heard the words from Syoho

The game ended without cheers from the supporters of Gerlando and even Gerlando still passed out without anyone wanting to help him now Squad Gate Hunter Syoho and Clara have been made.
