After driving as fast as he could Dean finally arrived home. Winarsih was already in the family room, sitting grimacing while rubbing her stomach. Dirja and Dita and Widi, pacing near the feet of his mother.
“Come, Win. Which bag?” tanya Dean grabbed Winarsih's arm and helped his wife stand up.
“These are already in the car that Mr. Noto brought. You ride that. Mama wants to come,” said Bu Amalia limping with her cane. The woman went straight to the terrace.
Dean hugged his wife's waist and walked slowly following the woman's footsteps, sometimes stopping to endure pain in her abdomen.
Fortunately, the day was still included in working hours. Three o'clock in the afternoon, working hours are not over. And the streets are not too crowded. That day Dean had traveled back and forth to the same place. He had just come from the hospital to support Tony's mother who was undergoing surgery.
Dean returns home to pick up his wife and takes her back to the same hospital. Next on the way he repeated the thing several times. Comfort Winarsih who when the contraction, no matter who is nearby.
Amalia's mom was like that too. Several times accompanied Winarsih, he was used to hearing the whining of his son-in-law. Winarsih is almost said to never nag if at home. Usually the woman is only silent if she does not like something. As an in-law who lives at home with her daughter-in-law, Ms. Amalia never saw Winarsih nagging Dean in front of her. And oddly enough, Winarsih also sometimes frown if her husband is rumored. Though obviously her husband is sometimes worthy of care. And because of that, Ms. Amalia rarely nagged Dean in front of his wife.
Winarsih never long experienced the pain of contractions. The longest contract period occurred at the time of the birth of the first child. At that time Dirja was waiting for his father who had just arrived from out of town. While the second and third children, Winarsih contractions no more than four hours.
It seems like it is this time too. Just now Winarsih was swept up onto the bed, her breathing was restrained as she looked down at the bottom of her body.
“Mas, broken. Her hardness had broken,” choked Winarsih, tightly gripping Dean's arm that was still holding his hand.
“Sus, the doctor is there, right?” dean asked with a panicked face. He looked at the seepage at the bottom of Winarsih's body.
“There, Sir. Doctor Azizah is heading here.” The nurse deftly took out a change of clothes.
“Sabar, yes, Darling .... The doctor's on his way here. Soon her son was born, her pain was.” Dean repeatedly tidied Winarsih's hair. That's all he can do.
It wasn't the first time Dean saw his wife give birth. He should have gotten used to it. But, every time he saw Winarsih grimacing, strangling and gripping tightly his hands with all his might, his heart was pounding. Dean wants their baby to be born soon, and the pain his wife is experiencing is coming to an end.
Doctor Azizah knows Dean very well. She no longer offered Dean to see her baby live. The man preferred to immerse his face near the head of the wife.
“Mas, pain .... So ill. Did you talk to my mom?” ask Winarsih.
“Udah. I told you when your clothes were changed. Patience, yes, dear .... The doctor said a little more perfect opening. I lost this corner, Win. Should have been I'd like to help open the birth canal, definitely faster.” Dean said that while looking down at his wife's ears.
“Mas, kidding continues ...” Winarsih further strengthened her grip on Dean's hand.
“Yes, it's okay. I used to get battered every time my son was born,” Dean grimaced. He rubbed and kissed his wife's cheek. “Sorry, yes, Win. You are sick gini.” Dean had run out of comforting words Winarsih.
Winarsih's suffering ended an hour later. A baby boy was born with a weight of almost four kilograms. Although his feelings are not as depressed as when his first child was born into the world. Dean got a lot of life exams. The birth of the fourth child turned out he was still shedding tears. Dean was seen quickly rubbing the corner of his eye while receiving the baby from the doctor's hand.
“Whose name, Mas?” ask Winarsih. He no longer dared to speculate that the fourth child would be similar to him. Winarsih has absolutely no name.
“Sebentar.” Dean held the baby with his left hand, then reached into his pants pocket.
“Waitu—pati, I still want to carry. He said his name, I saw it on the record. Yesterday Papa, right, drop the name. So I took all the names from me.” Dean continued to scroll through his phone screen.
“Times not wanted, anyway. Though the name of his own son,” whistle Winarsih.
“Worried wrong mention. Patience, this Win—nah ma'am she met.” Dean looked at his son's face. His shady gaze traced the tiny lips and eyes of the baby that time was not squinty. “Her eyes are not narrowed, Win. But, it doesn't look like you. Sorry, you're not lucky, Win.”
“I want to carry, Mas,” whine Winarsih. Dean pushed the baby boy into his wife's arms.
“His name is Darsa Handaru Hartono. His Darsa of me means desire. His handaru of papa means happiness. So, she is the happiness we want.” Dean rubbed his son's cheek with his index finger. He hugged his wife and kissed her head.
“Hai, Daru .. This is Mom. Thank you for being born healthy and being her son's mother. You have three sisters waiting for you at home.” Winarsih touched her nose on Handaru's forehead which was opening her tiny mouth.
“His father is unknown, yes .. only his mother. Though clearly here his most meritorious father,” said Dean.
Winarsih laughs, “Oh, yes, Son. It's your father who can't let you calm down every night. So the most meritorious father for your presence in the world,” said Winarsih smilingly looking at the baby. Dean pinched his wife's cheek softly upon hearing that.
Doctor Azizah had just stepped out of the room after congratulating her on the birth of the fourth baby. Not to forget the doctor joked that he would always be ready to help the birth of the next baby. Dean responded to that with a small laugh. He did not deny a single thing about that possibility.

“Oh, yes! Mama!” dean exclaimed, only to realize the presence of his mother outside the VK room. When he opened the door, his mother appeared with Toni and Wulan.
“Eh, just here. Nyokap lo?” ask Dean to Toni.
“Mami stable, De!” toni Sahut.
“Later if it has been moved to the nursery, Aunty want to look. Dean if you never want to jump,” said Bu Amalia.
Dean and Toni looked at each other. “Iya, Aunt.” Toni had to close the conversation so as not to argue about the doyan fathers hanging out. The topic of Nagging Bu Amalia who has not undergone a change. Just repeat it.
“Mas,” call Wulan. He was already standing near Winarsih with Handaru who was in his carriage. Toni walked over and rubbed the head of the sleeping baby boy.
The couple stood close to the body and looked down at Handaru. They talk while whispering. Seeing this, Amalia decided to give up. He sat in a chair waiting to see his grandson's face.
Soon there was a knock on the door. Santoso's face appeared as Dean opened the door.
“Not moved to the ward should be tomorrow,” whispered the voice of a woman who has not been seen from outside the door.
“What the hell, Muuuss?” Dean opened the door wider. “Come, go see baby. Who knows abis squirming so want,” said Dean.
