GENK DUDA ACUTE
67. An End

Dean signs several papers after Rey and Wulan have finished signing. “Finished Rey,” said Dean, put down the pen and scoop up the paper, then tapped it on the table.

“All matters concerning criminal cases are agreed upon by each party, will revoke its report no later than one week after the letter of this agreement was signed. The buying and selling business is done. The reverse gyro will be liquid according to the date stated. Everything clear?” Dean looked at her.

Rey just sat back and looked at the stretch of paper on the table. He flinched. Even when Dean got up from his seat, Rey did not look.

“Lan, my job is done. We all go out first. I think you need to say something,” Dean said, reminding Wulan of their final destination there that day.

Wulan nodded. His gaze followed the three people who exited the room and closed the door again.

“So gini aja?” ask Rey. “Street out lo?” ask Rey again.

“OK, lo-gue.” Wulan nodded. “Where to?” ask Wulan.

“Sorry. I'm sorting out trouble. Again there is a problem,” re Rey.

“What problems? Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. But, my phone and messages were ignored for too long.”

“Things I can't possibly tell you,” said Rey.

Wulan nodded. “Okay, it's okay. Indeed that is your business,” said Wulan.

“I didn't expect you to be able to directly reciprocate with Toni. Though our problems have never been big,” said Rey.

“Never big?” Wulan asked back. “The problem is never big in your opinion. But make me feel unappreciated all this time.”

“Still in love with him, Lan? What has been my feeling all this time? Kasian because I often get into trouble?” ask Rey. “You leaked about that fertilizer? Yes, right?” Rey scrunched her forehead staring at Wulan.

“Not kasian. I care. I care about you. I repeatedly wanted to stop doing that business. You never want to be horrified. I never talked to anyone about your business. Dean knows where it's from. If you are curious, you can ask him. I persevered in the hope that you would change.” Wulan shone a look of pity at Rey.

“Still in love with your ex-husband and so easily get back to him? After he hurts you?”

“We hurt each other more precisely. And again ... about your application, I have not answered with the truth. Good life, Rey .. your parents. They have been patient to support all your capital during trying various businesses. At least, don't let them deal with the police,” Wulan said.

“Not your business,” hiss Rey.

“Rey ... in a person's life, up and down times are bound to exist. You don't have to blindly prove to people that after Papa you don't become an official, you can still succeed. It's nothin. Slowly aja. Inside that envelope, the giro backed off. Before the due date, I will call Mama you make a tau ngasi,” said Wulan.

“Create what? Why did you call my parents?” Rey looked at Wulan fiercely.

“Let Mama you know, that I don't make her son's money. That matters. Remembering all this time Mama you always talked about the ugliness of Mahda to me. I don't want to. Shouldn't we be able to learn a lesson in life? Someone who easily indulges the shortcomings of others to us, can potentially do the same? Expanding my shortcomings with your next girlfriend? No one told me why Mahda canceled your engagement.”

Rey lowered. Linking both of his hands clasped his forehead. His thoughts now were not about the farewell with Wulan that would definitely happen in a moment. Wulan has not been her boyfriend since she came to her office with three lawyers. He was worried about something else.

“You never had a taste to me, huh? Just about kasian?” Rey lifted her face, looking at Wulan.

“But not yet intact but already melted. Little by little melted along with the banging and dings of things we each argue. Rey .. You have to change. I have nothing to say to anyone about the fertilizer business, because I still hope you can be better.”

“I hate you, Lan.” Rey looked at Wulan. His eyebrows shot up and the corners of his lips attracted a sinister smile.

“Udah—don't start. They were all outside waiting for me. You have to control your emotions. For you too,” order Wulan. “I'm sorry.” Wulan got up from her seat.

“When are you officially Toni's wife again?” Rey is still sitting. He asked without looking at Wulan.

“Ne-know. I don't know, either.” Start to step off her legs leaving the sofa.

“Why should you return it to him?” This time Rey got up.

Wulan turned back to look at Rey. “Likes don't like, I have to admit. Toni's treatment never changed. From the past until now. I decided to realize that. Understand that everything he does is a form of his dedication to parents. In my opinion, Toni can treat women gently, because of her affection for her Mama. He more ... appreciates women. I don't mean—”

“It’s okay, Lan. Take care,” says Rey. Rey slammed her body back on the couch. He decided not to see Wulan come out and close the door. The worry that had always haunted him all this time. Losing Wulan to the same cause when he lost Mahda.

Outside the building, Toni walks back and forth under a mango tree. Occasionally he turned his head to the entrance of the building, then raised his left hand to glance at the clock.

“For a long time, yes, De,” said Toni, impatient. “What's chat about?” tanya Toni turned to Dean who was already in the car with the window glass open entirely.

“Earth flat theory, Middle East issues, why the clockwork to right—”

“Gue mo mastiin Wulan get out of there without any more problems,” Dean said, duck on top of his phone and type a message while smiling knot.

“Kan, can I call you via phone.”

“Trus if another problem arises, I have to go back again? Oh wow! Repot it! Tomorrow I will be busy serving clients who pay. If it's free don't complain much,” replied Dean.

“Or come to Rio's house? Yuk,” take Toni.

“Can't, not now. I bought Bu Winar's handbag. I promised I would go home. I just don't want to macem first. I'm afraid I'm going to do a rebellion.”

“Countries you founded authoritarian. Naturally if there is a rebellion,” Toni said, crossing her arms in the chest facing Dean.

“My country is a kingdom. I'm the king, I'm the queen. But as you know, the king still needs concubines.” Dean started laughing, still staring at his phone.

“Celebrate ...,” murmured Ryan.

“Joking, Ryan ... kidding. This your body doesn't have a bugging device, does it? I'm a bit traumatized now,” Dean said, lifting Ryan's arm off the dashboard.

“Again traumatized,” re Ryan.

“That's Miss Wulan!” santoso suddenly.

Toni immediately walked up to Wulan and held the woman's shoulder towards Dean's car.

“There's a problem, Lan? There is something else that Rey conveyed besides talking about feelings?” ask Dean.

Wulan. “Not there, kok.”

“Okee .. I'm back first. Santoso, let's get out of the car. The time is over,” said Dean, turning to Santoso.

“Good, Sir.” Santoso got out of Dean's car. “I went straight home. Today less excited because light—”

“Sunlight has sunk in the West. Malem in a minute. Udah, go there!” dean Pinta. Ryan chuckled from behind the wheel.

“Turn to Rio's house, De. Lunch time, yuk.” invite Toni. “Ngomongin the yesterday. Not happy with a phone.”

“Tomorrow lunch hour, Yan?” Dean looked at his secretary.

“Tomorrow noon can, but at three o'clock there is a consultation appointment at the office.” Ryan reminded.

“Dengengers? My mom said tomorrow I could. Yeah, had. Tomorrow, deh. I'm back first.” Dean waved at Toni and Wulan, then closed the window. “Come, Mom. Take me home,” Dean said, patting Ryan on the shoulder.

Ryan grumbled to repeat every word of his superiors who were very carefree that day.

Under the mango tree, Toni suddenly felt awkward. Inside his mind flashed the idea of wanting to ask something. But, before the question was thrown out, he even misbehaved.

“So?” Tony looked at Wulan.

“So what?” Wulan asked back.

“So it's done?” ask Toni.

“Udah.”

“Now?”

“Now what?”

“What do you race?”

“I laper,” replied Wulan.
