GENK DUDA ACUTE
8. Dean's Last Step

Dean was still standing with his hard-earned face to keep him relaxed. Mom Amalia's gaze pierced her from the dining table. While Winarsih's gaze made her want to hug the woman immediately.

Winarsih's eyes are like adorable puppies. His wife's eyes never showed anger. But .. disappointment. The shadow of Winarsih's eyes was what had managed to make Dean die of lice because of guilt.

“Ha? Wanna go where? There's no. Why why?” Dean asked back. What else could she say in front of Amalia.

“There must be something to be sidelined. If not now, there will be.” Ms. Amalia still threw an unconvinced look. But the woman resumed her lunch.

Ms. Amalia has completely changed positions. His protection exceeded even when Dean was single. In the past, even though he was self-admitted, Dean could still answer his mother casually and waltzed away. Now then?

“No going anywhere. Dirja kok nanyanya.” Dean glanced at his wife. “No Win, no ..” he continued to turn Winarsih.

Winarsih stood shifting her chair and walked over to Dean who was holding Widi.

“I'm carrying, Mas eat.” Winarsih again threw her gaze at the plate of white rice that was already cold. “These are really warm nails.”

Dean stood up for a moment reaching into his pants pocket and pulled out the phone. His fingers nimbly scrolled the cursor looking for Mr. Hartono's name. He intended to complain about Bu Amalia who made him die of lice in front of his own wife.

But his eyes even widened to read the message that a moment ago just received. From Rio.

‘Gue so go to Sukabumi. Jenni okay. Lo?’

“Sok cool,” muttered Dean to Rio who couldn't hear it. He closed Rio's message and searched the name ‘PAP’ there. Dean then typed something.

‘Pa, like Dean is not Mama's real son. The longer, the attitude of Mama to Dean the more changed.’

Dean pocketed his cell phone and walked back to the dining table. Amalia continued eating. Winarsih took Widi who directly leaned on her.

Then, the phone, now in the pocket of Dean's beach shirt, shook again. Most likely Mr. Hartono replied to his message earlier.

‘Not Mama's biological child? Try you ngaca.’

After reading a message from Mr. Hartono, Dean sneered. Who would have believed that he was not the son of Miss Amalia. Dean and his mother's faces were very similar. Still with his face bent, Dean felt his phone shake again. It's still from Mr. Hartono.

‘Inget, kids already want four. Don't sulk at Mama. Shame on your wife.’

Mr. Hartono soon found out that his youngest son was intending to sulk at his mother.

Dean occupies the seat in front of Amalia. For a moment, the mother and son looked at each other. Ms. Amalia casts a meaningful gaze, “Mama knows what you plan to do.”

“Win .. don't stand fat Widi. The weight is good. Sitting here,” said Dean patted his wife's former chair earlier. Winarsih obeyed his words and immediately sat still while holding their youngest daughter.

Dean threw a look at Ms. Amalia who said, “There's Winarsih, don't talk macem-macem.”

Amalia put down her spoon and grabbed a glass of water. “Mbak—Mbak,” call Bu Amalia on babysitter Widi who is sitting on the family room sofa not far from there. “Take Widi, it's not fussy anymore. This is his fussy Father's replacement.”

“What the hell is Mama ..” murmur Dean.

Ms. Amalia stood up and grabbed the stick that a nurse had been holding her back. The woman does not care about her youngest child who is careless because it is immediately disconnected before carrying out the plan.

In the past, Ms. Amalia could not be so attentive to Dean who often left at home as a teenager. Similarly, when his youngest son was single. The stubborn Dean, it's hard to get banned. His will must be obeyed. Going here and there can't even be controlled with whom. But now it's different.

Since Ms. Amalia has watched two videos sent by Disty, Dean's ex-girlfriend, she feels completely rejected. The video is indeed ‘only’ video of a pair of human making out. But she, as a mother, was disgusted to see it. Moreover, Winarsih who is a wife.

Ms. Amalia felt she couldn't give Dean any leeway. As a mother, she is as much as possible to take care of her child who sometimes still acts like a teenager when with her friends. Although he also could not deny that his son was still very charming at the age of 33 years. Dean who has been very perfectionist since then, will not let the look of origin even if only go to the ATM mini market.

For lunch at home on weekends only, Dean dressed up like going on vacation to the beach. Early in the morning, Winarsih had been wearing a pale green canal that wrapped her body elegantly. Whose fashion of choice if not her husband.

Winarsih never stepped out of the room wearing a negligee. Daster is just for sleeping Dean said. The rest, must be a variety of sexy sleepwear with striking colors. Winarsih had brought her mother-in-law to the room to ask about clothing fashion. By accident the closet door was wide open.

Ms. Amalia really doesn't wonder why the number of Dean's children is growing so much. Plus Dean's disordered thinking about the duties of a wife. A lot of acting as a young man turned out to make Dean transformed into a possessive husband. Maybe in his head was imagined by his behavior and speech all this time. Contraceptive recommendations are only answered later.

Ms. Amalia is now grateful that her daughter-in-law is calm and not much behavior. He couldn't imagine Dean having a wife who was as noisy as him.

Ms. Amalia used to call Winarsih pregnant out of wedlock for flirting with Dean. Although Winarsih may have forgiven her mother-in-law, bad feelings always run every Dean act outside. Ms. Amalia felt she had to prevent it early. Whatever it is.

But it all goes back to Winarsih. As a wife, Winarsih must be more understanding in putting trust in her husband. And most of all, the important thing is that Bu Amalia feels as a mother, she has done enough.

Amalia walked slowly into her room. “Wife is told to be pregnant but she wants to crawl aja.” He almost said that to Dean in front of Winarsih.

Dean took his wife and children to a mall. Three children and three babysitters. The car was instantly filled with the sound of screams and babbling toddlers. Winarsih who is always calm does not look disturbed by the sounds of children who alternately sway his legs. Half a day Dean spoils his family. Buy Winarsih a new branded bag and three pairs of shoes for her feet that begin to swell due to pregnancy.

While being alone or with his friends, Dean can put on a haughty face and walk elegantly releasing his charm everywhere. A very different attitude if he is with his wife and children. Dean could not take off his charms because he was busy talking about children. But, instead of fading or disappearing altogether, for Winarsih the charm of Dean is increasingly radiating as he carries out his duties as a father.

Winarsih still often sees her husband being the object of the gaze of the women despite being holding a toddler who whines calling, “Bapak ..”

The three toddlers had already fallen asleep on their way back home. Apparently playing on the playground is very draining of the three toddlers. Upon arrival at home, Winarsih escorted all her children back to the room. He watched all the babysitters change clothes and give milk to Widi who had fussy when placed in her box.

Finished with her children, Winarsih returned to the room and saw the lights had been set to the sleeping lights. As usual, her husband was already in bed with a plenary position. A book on the left hand and a reading lamp that leads to it. When they entered the room, their eyes clashed for a moment. Winarsih saw the front of her husband's hair wet because the ritual washes the face and uses skincare that must be lightning fast to avoid being caught wet.

Though married long enough, but Dean always keep it so as not too obvious. Sometimes Winarsih felt amused by herself.

“His leg is not pegel?” dean asked Winarsih who stood behind him hanging a bag.

“Slight seal,” replied Winarsih. He shifted the closet and took out the negligee. Almost 20 minutes in the bathroom, he then went out with his pride.

“Sini Win,” call Dean pat the side of the bed next to him. “Here I go,” said Dean rose from his position and set the pillow.

Winarsih crawled up onto the bed with Dean's outstretched hand welcoming her. He then laid his head on the pillow that Dean had arranged so for him. Her eyes glanced, Dean was already grasping a bottle of olive oil that her husband used to give her a massage.

Winarsih was already lying on her side staring at Dean who was holding his leg and applying olive oil along his calf.

“Capek yes Win .. You are pregnant my child constantly.” Dean gently massaged his wife's calf. A narcissistic lawyer who washes his hands dozens of times a day, that night his fingers are covered in oil.

“So who am I pregnant with?” tanya Winarsih glanced at her husband. Dean chuckles.

“Iya, must be my son dong. His name is also I am diligent.”

Winarsih rubbed Dean's thighs sitting cross-legged nearby. “You go with temen-temen yes? How-how long? I'm not okay. Go away, consider it refreshing. I believe Father my children can be wise outside.”

Dean lifted his wife's face. “No Win, it's okay. The three of them were enough. Three days two days later, I'll miss the kids.” Dean traced his wife's calf to the back of his knee.

“But not rame because it usually goes four,” Winarsih said. “Nothing. I trust his father Dirja.”

“I think I'm okay, but if you say that. I'll tell Toni if I leave,” Dean said. “This top, pegel also not?” Dean's hand began to move from behind Winarsih's knee and continued again until the hand stopped in place.

Winarsih. It turned out that a good massage on his calf did not last long.

“Makasi Bu .. I love you.” Dean hugs Winarsih into the arms. Winarsih rolled her hands around her waist.

To whom else could he complain and ask for mercy other than Winarsih? His mother was immune to all his words. After all, since a long time ago, Winarsih is the place to complain. Winarsih is the only woman who has ever made her shed tears. Where could he play around with the women out there at the risk of losing Winarsih.

Dean felt sure to die if winarsih left him.

The important thing is that he has obtained permission from his wife. That's enough. His friends do not need to know how clear his face just now to make Winarsih pity.
