Tuesday morning at Danawira’s Law Firm.
“Schedule today, Yan?” ask Dean. Ryan follows his new boss coming up with a tablet in hand.
“Appointment with two clients. The first one was at 9 this morning with an old client. Bankruptcy trial. The second one after lunch at 1 o'clock had a new client appointment. Everyone in this office. At 3 pm to the office of T&T Express appointment with Toni one of the members of Genk Duda Akut.” Ryan took down his tablet and looked at Dean.
“Genk Acute Widower? Sorry? The widower is just Toni, don't smear my name.” Dean put down the clutch.
“Oke, appointment with mr. Toni. Said professional. About professional rates too?” ask Ryan to make sure.
“Tariff later notified. Importantly all costs incurred, charged. No discount for that. Toni rich.” Dean threw his body in the chair.
“OK. Don't forget 3pm,” Ryan's reset. "Now I took yesterday's work file to check. Be right back,” said Ryan then went towards the door.
The first client just came out of Dean's room. The time has shown past lunch hour, while the next meeting time is at one. There was no time if he had to eat a complete menu in the restaurant lobby at that time. Dean doesn't want his new client waiting. The first impression should be impressive for him.
“Pesen snack, Yan!” dean exclaimed from his chair.
Ryan just walked out of the office door and back out to look inside. “What's the snack?” He didn't want to order wrongly.
Years of accompanying a fussy and slippery boss make Ryan used to be aware of all the words of a new man who exclaimed from behind his desk.
“What, huh? Mmm— whatever you want. The important thing can be to mgeganjel.” Dean rubbed his stomach as he said that.
“Stone can also make odd,” said Ryan. “Udah kayak cewe just the answer is up to.”
“What aja, Ryan ...lo also now like the mothers bring him. Who knows people number one. It's there. What aja. Origin do not fried, junk food and do not the pedes.” Dean flicked his hand then pulled the pile of maps on the table.
“What he said ..” muttered Ryan while he was gone.
Dean was still bowing on the map with a pen in hand. Ryan came back in not until 15 minutes later with two tentengan.
“Cock cepet?” ask Dean.
“Contact so buy. In front of the elevator met girls from the 5th floor who came with hampers. He said there was a birthday. Condensed two, one for Mr. Dean he said.” Ryan put down a hampers filled with rice boxes, fruit juice, and a small box of desserts.
“Waduh, the girls have not been deterred like they were cheeked. Floor 5 what company anyway?” dean asked, opening the hampers.
“Importer's office,” replied Ryan.
“Gue so feel betrayed bini kayak gini,” said Dean began to open the drawer of the worktable to remove a set of special cutlery of his.
“Live a meal, sir ..” Ryan sidelines to the sofa while carrying his hampers.
“So, what are they talking about?” dean asked smilingly looking at Ryan's face.
“Feel betrayed wife but still need news update.” Ryan grunts.
“Gue just want to know the situation to know to respond,” replied Dean casually.
“Only, Mr Dean where? How are you doing? Again in the room or out?” Ryan started to open the rice box and looked at the contents.
“Lo answer what? No one talks about Mr Dean, how about ... that?"
“What's the point? There is no tuh! I just take the hampers and keep answering, Mr. Dean again in the room waiting for the next client. Just healthy. Now waiting for the birth of her fourth child.” Ryan put his food in his mouth. “Certain si—”
“Udah—. Diems. Your mouth is full. Continue eating aja.” Dean continued his free lunch.
“Pak, the next client about the company merger yes ..” Ryan reminded.
At 14:30 Dean left his office. Driving a black Range Rover to the T&T Express office in the Ivory region. And like his promises all along, Dean was never late for the same reason. Professional work.
That afternoon, Dean wasn't followed by his secretary. He left Ryan with a pile of work to complete. But because of that, Dean had to carry a clear holder map where Toni's company file sheets were placed.
Dean immediately walked past the front of the office filled with box cars with Toni company logos that were loading packages. The few servants who had recognized him immediately nodded as he passed by.
The sound of an elevator clank sounded as a marker that he arrived on the fourth floor. The place where Toni's office is located. As soon as the elevator door opened, Dean immediately met with Musdalifah.
“You're in dalem, right?” dean asked at the table with a clear holder in his hand.
“Pak Toni has not nyampe from the branch you want to open. Maybe in a minute. Mas Dean can—”
“Pak. Mus ... call Mr.” Dean looked at Mus. “Pak,” reset Dean again.
“Too far away. The effect is a thick wall by the way. Call others just use ‘Mas’. Mas Langit, Mas Rio.”
“I want a wider distance and a thicker wall between us. If I can call a handyman to increase the thickness of the wall. I went to Dalem first,” Dean said to Toni's room.
“Pak,” call Musdalifah.
“What else?” dean asked, stopping his steps.
“Hair is good if it falls partially forward. Kayak time in Sukabumi,” added Musdalifah again.
“Can't! It can't fall forward.” Dean immediately re-raised some of his hair strands that covered his forehead. He turned away from the table of Musdalifah.
“Pak—Pak,” call Musdalifah approaching Dean.
“What else?” ketus Dean's.
“File on the map let me check. No need to bring the map to Mr. Toni's room. Not cool. Kayak ask for donations 17-an.” Musdalifah raised both palms ready to receive the map from Dean.
And it is true that the Musdalifah estimate. Despite not throwing, Dean crammed the map into his hands.
“Wait indoors sir, soon Mr. Toni will be nyampe. I deliver tea to calm the mood later.” Musdalifah smiled and then returned to his desk.
“Pacifying what atmosphere?” muttered Dean again continued his steps towards Toni's room whose door was closed.
“What atmosphere? Wait aja,” murmured Musdalifah snorted at the back of Dean who had arrived in front of the door of Toni's room.
And ....
“Eh, Mas Dean ..”
Musdalifah heard Tasya's voice from the open door of the room. He could see Dean turning his back to the hallway with both hands in his pants pocket.
“Ngapain you here?”
Musdalifah then heard Dean's answer that he could have guessed before.
“Solving problems with problems, right?” musdalifah. “That's straight away I practiced his teachings.”
