GENK DUDA ACUTE
43. For Us to Return Again

“I anter to dalem,” said Toni, shut off the car engine. “I just nganter aja,” asserted Toni. He rushes down from the car and hastily turns around the front to open the door.

“That's okay,” said Wulan, as Toni would like to bring her newly retrieved map from the back seat. He felt awkward again. Toni's attitude reminds her of the early days the man approached her. He just graduated from college and worked as a customer service provider.

“Environment here how?” ask Toni.

“Regular aja. Obviously, I'm lacking in company. Go early in the morning, go home malem continue.” Wulan stamped her card on the glass door until it was ‘bib’ and the door became tenuous.

Toni held back the heavy glass door for Wulan.

“Later down, press that button to open the glass door,” said Wulan. He pushed the elevator button open. “Nyampe here, right?” ask Wulan.

Toni stood up for a moment then grabbed Wulan's hand and invited her in. “I want to see where you live so far,” said Toni.

“Mmm .. okay,” says Wulan. He re-tapped the card on the elevator sensor. “I'm on the 16th floor,” Wulan said. The silence of the elevator made him awkward.

“Definitely free from mosquitoes,” Toni continued.

“Kok, tau?” Wulan looked at Toni, rounding her eyes.

“The mosquito is tired of flying,” replied Toni. “Unable to height.” Toni chuckled followed Wulan.

Then the elevator door opened and Wulan turned left. “My most end unit, on the left.” Wulan precedes Toni's move. He did not want to linger in the hallway and be seen with other men.

“Mmm ... Rey ever—”

“No, Rey has never done anything here. I can't,” replied Wulan.

“Kalo gitu—”

“You can't either,” cut Wulan.

“I intention emang just nganter,” said Toni, slowly.

They had arrived at the front door of the apartment and Wulan opened the door slot and entered the password. Four digits, and Toni choked when she realized the number that Wulan had just typed. He looked at Wulan's face, who seemed unaware that she had just peeked. It turns out that Wulan still always uses the four-digit number that he used to choose as their wedding date. Wulan really liked that number.

“Just a studio room. Go straight into the bed. There are only two chairs and I will see the kitchen. It's small, but it's pretty cheap. I contracted the furniture all together. Here just bring a suitcase,” said Wulan. He turned on all the lights and turned on the AC.

Toni stepped in and took off her shoes. He did not have the heart to trample the clean and shiny floor that would often be used Wulan to sit. He memorized the habits of Wulan's habits that like to throw jams on the floor. In the past, the woman always slept on the floor and rolled to and fro every time she called with her sisters.

“Poor here?” ask Toni. He spreads his view. As he was thinking about where to sit, Wulan answered a question he had not yet asked.

“You can, really, sit on that bed. The dining chair is too mini for you.” Wulan grimaced at the small high chair that was similar to a bar stool.

Toni flung her body, leaned against the head of the bed and took out a pillow to hold her.

“You go home take my car,” said Wulan.

“So tomorrow you work giman—” Toni directly silent. Luckily Dean wasn't there to hear what he said. If Wulan asks him to bring the car, tomorrow he can pick up the woman. He can ask the driver to take Wulan's car directly to his office. Toni cursed herself.

“What?” asked Wulan, stopping at the bathroom door with a towel and a change of clothes in her arms.

Toni pulls out her phone again and is a little scared just in case Dean sends her a message back. It was almost midnight and he was still with a woman. And that woman is Wulan.

Tony got up from his seat. The bathroom shower is still on. He took his time to walk around the room. Toni came to the fridge full of clothes. There's nothing there. A piece of Wulan's picture together, nobody, nobody. Only monthly shopping notes are affixed with a magnet.

Toni went to the dining table and picked up a glass. He went to the dispenser and filled the glass with cold water. Is it possible that Wulan still considers it ‘people home’ until the woman forgets to offer him a glass of water? He placed the glass on the dispenser and turned around.

Simultaneously, the bathroom door opened and Wulan walked out. The woman couldn't avoid hitting her body with a pretty hard Toni. He retreated back to the bathroom door and Toni restrained her body.

“Maaf—maaf,” Toni said, rubbing Wulan's back that she felt had hit the door.

“Nothing. Understand, kok. The room, right, is small. You drink, huh? I forgot to drink.” Wulan confirmed the location of the towel on her sagging head.

“You look like a child,” said Toni. Look at Wulan who just finished her bath and wore short-sleeved satin pajamas and shorts. Wulan looks like a high school boy.

“Absolutely I ever grew up?” Wulan asked back, her lips pinched.

Toni laughs. His one hand was still on Wulan's back.

“Kalo tomorrow Rey come to the office as much as possible do not fuss. Once again he dares to touch you, you must make a report. You did the report, Lan. Should you,” Toni holds both sides of Wulan's shoulders. “I'm definitely temenin,” added Toni.

Wulan nodded slowly. “Rey won't be like that anymore. Me .. plan to talk seriously about him. But later, not now. I'll wait until it's quiet.”

“Out us, Lan ...” Tony looked at his wife's face.

“Not so easy, Ton. I still have a lot of business to do.” Wulan let out a short breath.

“You still love me, right?” ask Tony again. He only wanted to hear Wulan say it at least once for the day.

“Ne-know. Don't ask that first,” replied Wulan.

It's been kissed and hugged. Why is it so hard to say there is still a taste? Toni slightly bent her face.

“Kalo so .. I go home first yes. It was through the middle of the mall. That elevator can go straight to the lobby, right?”

“Iya, can. Go straight to the lobby. Car key was—”

“Still no.” Toni patted her pants pocket.

“Be careful,” Wulan said, while drying her hair.

“That's it,” muttered Toni. He didn't care if Wulan thought of him as a child. He considered Wulan stingy in terms of expressing feelings. He felt hanged.

“So how?” asked Wulan, a little annoyed. He felt that the problem was still piling up, but Toni was busy undermining him about feelings. “Udah, ah. I'm gonna take a break. Go home there. I'm tired of you just keep going,” expel Wulan. He held onto Toni's arm and tried to drag the man. However, Toni was unmoved.

“Which maybe you can drag me to the door,” Toni said, chuckling. Wulan was still trying to push him with an annoyed face.

“How about gini?” Toni clasped Wulan's waist and carried her. “I told you, you're still a kid.” Toni, who is 186 inches tall, easily lifts the woman. He kissed the pouting Wulan again and just threw him out.
