GENK DUDA ACUTE
112. Anderson Family Day

"How much is enough here?" ask Tony to Wulan.

"Yes, Mas. Here is enough too. Yesterday was a lot too. I just need to find some less. Yesterday I was browsing and met a new brand of breast pump. It's good." Wulan walked into the department store special baby clothes with Toni's hand on her shoulder.

Wulan's stomach is getting bigger. He is at the height of enthusiasm in this phase of his life. The day of her baby's birth is approaching. Maybe in a matter of days, hours or even at any time. They are deliberately not to buy the goods their baby needs too quickly. Wulan even said if necessary, she would go shopping the day before giving birth to her baby.

Because their waiting period for the presence of a baby is quite long, making them very careful to put hope.

The past three days, Wulan had already felt a light contraction in her stomach. Tony insisted on taking his wife to the hospital. But, Wulan reading material is so abundant about the mother of pregnancy, making Wulan believe that it is a false contraction, because the onset is only occasional.

And that day was Monday, where Toni should have walked into the office as usual. Wulan insisted on taking her husband for a walk so that he could move around a lot and make it easier for her to deliver.

"Mas, don't walk spit." Wulan held onto Toni's arm as they walked down the aisle of the stroller gear.

"Why? You sick?" Toni looked at Wulan's pale face.

"sick suddenly. Wait a minute, don't walk. Maybe another bit of pain is crashing," said Wulan with a grimacing face.

"How's ilang? Can it be said? Come on, go to the hospital straight away. I couldn't see it" Toni said, taking the bag off Wulan's shoulder and wearing it.

"I'm the way of aj-" Wulan's words came to a halt. Toni slipped her hands under her armpits and lifted her body easily.

"Cannot. I can't wait. Want to wait until how sick? We're leaving now. Later these groceries are taken care of later," Toni's nag along lifting his wife's body through a row of department store shelves.

On Monday, the three-story baby clothes shopping center was not too crowded. Fortunately, they were on the ground floor and the car was parked not far from the lobby. Although Wulan was heavily pregnant, lifting his wife's body was not a difficulty for Toni. Several pairs of eyes saw how he walked towards the exit while carrying his wife's body.

The office driver who came to deliver them earlier, was immediately shocked when he saw his boss coming.

"The usual hospital" Toni asked as her driver opened the door. He immediately sat Wulan in a chair and got into the car. "Where? Still sore?" ask her while tidying Wulan's messy hair.

Wulan silently took her breath. Her hands groped her husband's chest.

"Why? Why, Honey?" Toni grabs Wulan's hand and kisses her. His face panicked.

"Tasku, Mum. Don't dipake. Mas so strange," said Wulan with a grimacing face.

Tony looked at his left shoulder. Wulan's handbag is still stuck there. He released it with a serious look and a frowned fidgeting forehead.

After the office driver left the business card on the department store supervisor, the car left the parking lot and left for the hospital. On the way, Musdalifah called Toni to inform her that he had sent staff to redeem the abandoned groceries and had not been paid.

"Faster to drive, yes, sir. But don't speed. Be careful" Toni told the driver.

The office driver nodded steadily, though inwardly he was at a loss as to how to drive a fast car without speeding.

"Oh, this is really his contract. It's really sick, Mom. Ouch …." Wulan tightly hugged Toni's arm and buried her face there. Both of his hands clutched tightly onto Toni's arms which could only rub her back and cast her gaze towards the street occasionally.

"Patience, yes, I want to nyampe." Toni predicted that they would arrive at the hospital in ten minutes at most.

"Mas Toni ..," called Wulan, looking up at her husband's face.

"Yes, Honey. Why?" tanya Toni, rubbed the sweaty forehead of Wulan.

"Bang-nget pain," whined Wulan. "Winar, really, can take four. I was amazed," said Wulan half-crying.

"Oh, you don't cry. How am I supposed to do?" Tony hugged his wife. "Sir-Sir! Hurry along!" pinta Toni on her driver for the umpteenth time.

The hospital parking lot was pretty crowded. The driver stopped the car in front of the IGD building and Toni immediately picked up one of the wheelchairs arranged in front of the entrance.

Specialist practice starts at two in the afternoon. They arrived at the hospital at almost three in the afternoon. And a nurse in the mother and child clinic took Wulan straight to the hallway where the operating room and delivery room were located.

Toni stood up. After the driver delivered a bag of baby equipment in the back of the trunk, Toni was silent not knowing what to do. He just stood by the headboard watching Wulan being changed. Her hands can only straighten her hair and allow the uniform string of the mother giving birth to be tied to the back of the body.

To him Wulan looked very miserable. There are a lot of questions he asked the doctor. What should he do so that his wife does not feel too much pain during the birth of their baby. Wulan's answer is simply to want to give birth and feel the same way as a mother in general.

Having a child is a joy for any married couple. With the presence of a child, a family will be very happy. She is also very happy because she has a baby from her love. But, Wulan was in so much pain.

Toni's heart wondered. If when they get married again, and Wulan is not yet pregnant, will she leave the woman? Will his love for Wulan be reduced? Toni replied firmly in her heart. His love for Wulan is unconditional. He loves his wife with or without a baby.

"Sir, can you help hold her mother's hand? Just get a hold of it." The voice of the maternity room nurse returned Toni's mind to the atmosphere of the delivery room.

Toni immediately caught the hand of Wulan who was busy gripping the edge of the bed moving around.

"Lan, makasi, yes. Make up for trying to conceive my son" said Toni.

"Our son, our Mas-son," Wulan said with a paper-white face.

"Makasi" whispered Toni in his wife's ear.

"Don't cry, yeah." A midwife then came in and checked the baby's heartbeat detector.

Contractions of nearly three hours. Time seems to crawl for so long. Tony stood up, sat down, and stood up again. The normal birth that his wife dreamed of took a long time.

The midwife who had just checked Wulan's opening, took off her gloves and went to the phone plane. "It's open eight, Doc," he said on the phone.

Again Toni was silent to notice all the movements that occurred in the maternity room. Wulan buried the nails in her arms, echoed the hands in her grasp, and gripped the back of her neck so firmly. Toni just grimaced without a sound.

And at exactly 19:30 p.m., the cry of a baby filled the room.

"Where? Where's baby? Healthy, Doc? Is there anything less? Complete?" Wulan half got up to look down at her body. His voice panted asking the state of the baby he had just born into the world.

"Patience, Dear …. Just sec. Again cleaned," Toni said, peering into the baby warmer section where their baby squirms and cries.

"Mas .. We have children" isak Wulan.

"Yes, we have a child." Toni stood up and waited for the little creature wrapped in a blue blanket.

"Sir Toni, Mrs Wulan, congratulations on the birth of her handsome baby boy. The baby is healthy, and complete." Doctor Azizah turned her head and smiled at Wulan.

"Thank you, Doc." Toni could not see the face of the female doctor who offered her a baby boy. He immediately held the baby into his arms.

"here, Mas. I was the first one to see," said Wulan extending her hand. "Mas, how much does it weigh? Length, Mas?" asked Wulan while trying to justify the baby in her arms.

"Dok, the weight-"

"Born with a weight of 3800 grams, a length of 53 centimeters," said the midwife from the right side of Wulan. It turns out that he listened to Wulan's hassles about her baby boy information.

"53 centimeters. It'll be high like Papi, huh?" tanya Wulan looked at the face of the baby. "Happy, Mas. My son is handsome" whispered Wulan, stroking his baby's cheek with his index finger.

"Whose name? Up yours. I'm going with it. The important thing is that you are cool" Toni said.

Wulan smiled looking at the baby. "The name is Tirta" whispered Wulan. "Tyrta William Anderson."
