The clattering of one's legs managed to take the eyes off a beautiful woman who was holding a sleeping boy.
"Mas" called the woman when she saw her husband coming.
"What's going on? Who's this kid?" tanya Arham sat next to Dara.
"Alan, Nissa's son" said Dara, staring at Arham.
"What happened to Nissa?"
"So you don't know, the doctor is still dealing with Nissa" Dara said with tears that had been blocked. Then Arham's gaze reached a man who was sitting with his head down.
"He's Nissa's husband" said Dara stroking Alan's head.
"Mas, for a while, can't we bring Alan home? He's a victim" Dara looked at Arham expectantly. Arham smiled and nodded.
"Thank you" said Dara so happy. Then not long the door to the room where Nissa was treated was open. A woman dressed in white walked over to the man who was currently still sitting.
"Sorry sir, we can talk" said the doctor, who managed to surprise the man.
The man woke up and nodded his head. Dara looked at Arham full of question marks, there was an uneasy feeling in her heart.
"Don't think things through, we should pray that Nissa is okay" Arham said, embracing Dara.
"We'd better go home, kill the kid. Lagian Ara and Azka also need you" added Arham as he looked at Alan who was still asleep in Dara's arms. Dara looked at Arham closely, then she nodded.
"Oh, please call us if anything happens with Nissa. This is my business card, there is a number as well" said Arham gave a business card to bibik. Bibik nodded, and Dara and Arham said goodbye to go home.
Inside the white room, the man was sitting restlessly. His eyes were on the woman in front of him.
"Esteemed Mr Arnold, do you still have a conscience?" the question came out of the woman's mouth.
"Nissa should have surgery right away. His body condition is also very weak, I don't know what..."
"Do whatever it takes to keep him safe" Arnold cut with emphasis. His eyes had now turned red, his feelings were currently raging incoherently.
"This signature" said the woman proffering a paper, Arnold looked at the woman with question marks.
"We couldn't keep the child in her womb, Nissa's condition was really bad because she only had one kidney."
"From the beginning I warned him that what he was defending would be in vain. But your wife is so stubborn, she even looks so happy when she hears that she's pregnant. Although her husband did not care about it at all" said the doctor at length. The beautiful woman is Arnold's cousin and best friend.
"I hope you can take a lesson from what happened. Take care of everything, the operation must be done immediately" said the woman got up from the seat.
"I'm sorry" said Arnold rubbing his face rough, He got up from his seat so lethargic. Her hand held tightly onto the paper she had to sign. His eyes were closed, he wished that this was all just a dream.
An hour has passed, the operating room light was changed which indicates if the operation is complete.
"What about her?" arnold asked as the doctor came out.
"the operation went smoothly, your wife will we move the inpatient room"
"Arnold, I'd like to talk to you for a second" said the beautiful doctor who had just walked out of the operating room.
"In my room" said the woman, and Arnold followed her from behind.
"You're Arnold's jerk, I wanted to put you to bed. I told you, didn't I? forget your past. He will never come back" the woman stared intently at Arnold.
"There is no need to interfere in my personal affairs, your job is only to take care of it until it heals" Arnold said tightening his jaw. The woman smiled wryly, she crossed her hands and looked at Arnold fixedly.
"Say what you love her?" the question managed to make Arnold gasp in shock. Arnold did not answer.
"Well, you used to love that cheap woman so much and you still have her child who is not your flesh and blood. But you tortured the woman who was already your wife, even you could wipe out your own flesh and blood. I think you're crazy Arnold"
"Just don't talk about a dead man, I don't know if he's pregnant!! So don't blame me completely" Arnold exclaimed at his cousin so fiercely.
"who should I blame? Your wife? Should I blame him for sacrificing for you? Where's your common sense, Arnold?" the woman screamed because of emotion.
"Even if you believe more in the words of your mother and your woman, you never believe or hear my words either. I'm so disappointed in you, I'm sorry to be your cousin and even your best friend" that woman's voice is softening a little.
"Don't look for me anymore, I'm sick of you. I've really lost my best friend for a long time, she's dead" said the woman.
"You can't leave me, you promised to continue supporting me" Arnold said.
"You broke Arnold's vow, go. I want a break" the woman turned her chair to turn her back on Arnold. Arnold looked at the back of the chair in disappointment. Then he went straight out.
Those sharp eyes were now fixed on someone who was still lying weakly on top of the gurney. Slowly he stepped up and approached.
"Why are you still standing by my side? Stupid shit." said Arnold sitting next to Nissa.
"I hurt you so much, I don't deserve love from you Nissa. You also hid everything from me, sorry." Arnold added, his hand was now outstretched to hold Nissa's head.
"Wake up, I'll fix everything. Never hate me." he said. He kissed Nissa's forehead so gently, this was the second time he kissed Nissa's forehead after 3 years of their marriage. Arnold laid down his body, he stared fixedly at the wife's face. Occasionally his hand is stretched out to hold the perfect sculpture of the almighty.
'3 years I wasted you Nissa, will you forgive me?'
