Holy Marriage

Holy Marriage
Hope Ortu

Alan and Anna return to the car after the baby's purchase is over.

“Mas!” call Anna when they're already sitting on top of a speeding car.

“Ya?” Alan looked over and looked at his wife's beautiful face. “Why why?”

“If I'm a lahiran, Mas must nemenin me, loh. The day before I was born, I had to be by my side. Don't stay with me!”

“Yes yes, darling!” Alan raised his hand and rubbed the veil of Anna.

“Look, you haven't been born yet, I've set aside a lot of time for you, haven't you?”

“What I need is his birthright, Mas. Not now.”

Alan smiled. “Don't worry, Baby! What the hell am I not giving you? My time is all you take nor pa-pa, and I don't have to work. We spend time alone all day.” Alan grabbed Anna's hand and briefly peeked at the back of his wife's palm.

“Preeet!”

“You farted?”

“Hahaaa..”.

“The sound is pret.”

The ringing of the cell phone interrupted their conversation. Alan took the phone from his pants. William called.

“Who?” ask Anna.

“Papa,” replied Alan then glued the phone to the ear after previously sliding the green button. “Ya, Pa?”

“Alan, how come you haven't told me too? When is Anna lahiran?” William sounded enthusiastic and impatient. Understand, first grandchild.

“Ooh..” William sighed. “Yes already, you take care of Anna, yes!”

“Iya, Pa!”

“Eeehh... Wait-wait, don't turn off first!” the hoarse voice of a grandmother spoke from across. Wiliam's phone has changed into the hands of grandma of course. “Alan, if your wife already has signs of giving birth, you should be quick to tell grandma. Remember, tell me when Anna has started to feel there is a contraction, do not fit it already in the hospital. Grandma wants to give support to Anna.”

“Iya, New.” There were no words Alan could say other than that, his grandmother was very chatty. How could Alan interrupt with so many sentences. Even though Alan had not finished shutting his mouth after saying the word Nek, his grandmother had spoken again.

“You must pay attention to the condition of your wife, pregnant women need extra attention from her husband. Do not let Anna have a burden of mind, it will affect the condition of her fetus. Remind him to consume healthy food, do not carelessly eat.”

Geez, Alan sighed hearing the spate of sentences his grandmother said. Even until now the mind of Alan floated somewhere, his grandmother was not finished talking, like just making a speech.

“Udah, Grandma?” alan asked who was getting caught off guard by the messages. Now Alan understood where the overprotective attitude he had come from.

“Bring Anna home here. Grandma would like to see.”

“Anna tired, Grandma. Next time, Grandma. Dadaaa Cute grandma cute.” Alan throws the phone to the dashboard while giggling. Her grandmother there must have been nagging because her phone was switched off before she finished talking.

“Grandmother came to Papa William's house huh, Mas?” anna asked curiously, because the one who called was Papa William, but who turned into a grandmother.

“Iya. Papa same Grandma really waiting for our child born. How many times have you tried Papa nanyain when did you eat?”

“Hehee... Still a while, Mas?”

“I really also can't wait to be a father.” Alan again kissed the back of Anna's hand, this time for quite a while.
