“What is this? why is this house like a ship breaking like this?” annoyed Alan observed the cans of drinks rolling on the floor, the ashtrays that lay face down, the broken glasses, the vases of flowers strewn across the floor.
Anna's heart paled upon hearing Alan's emotionless question. Lately Alan has often shown an unpleasant attitude. In the past, Alan always prioritized Azzam in any case, but now Alan is often upset every time faced with Azzam's mischief.
“Azzam by accident, Mas Alan. Azzam pulled the end of the tablecloth, and finally the stuff that was on the table on fell all,” explained Anna. He grabbed Azzam's body and removed the cloth from Azzam's hand.
“Already, next time Azzam do not be allowed to play carelessly,” stressed Alan.
“Your words seem to indicate that you blame Azzam. Azzam was still a baby, it was natural that he behaved this way. Azzam doesn't know what he's doing, his wits aren't working.”
“Akal Azzam is not yet the way, but your mind is the way, right? You know that Azzam likes to make trouble, so why don't you take care of him properly? As long as you are by his side, then this is also your duty. You're his mother, right?”
Anna was silent to the words that came out of Alan's mouth. It was painful to hear the man she loved speak sharp words. Maybe for other women such remarks do not matter, but for anna feels different because all this time Alan only shows attention and affection. Of course it felt sad when that affection turned into a piercing remark.
“Only for small business like this you can not handle. So how about a much bigger deal than this? you can't be a right mother,” Alan continued with a flat look.
Anna did not answer. He went upstairs holding Azzam. His palms rubbed Azzam's back. The little boy placed his head on Anna's shoulders, while his two little hands were stretched out as if holding onto Anna's body. Even her small mouth was evaporating.
Anna enters Azzam's room. “Darling, you bobbed first yes!” As usual, Anna invites Azzam to chat as a mother tongue that teaches her son to talk.
Anna turned to Azzam. He found Azzam who had been closed, soundly.
Anna put Azzam's body into the bed. “Bobok yes dear!” Anna kissed Azzam's forehead and covered the body of the fat baby.Anna's fingers touched Azzam's chin and pushed him up to cover Azzam's open mouth.
Anna's out of the room. “Jagain Azzam!” he said when he met Arni at the door.
“Good!” Arni nodded obediently then entered Azzam's room.
Anna entered the room next to Azzam's, none other than her own. She immediately laid her body on her side, turning her back to the bed area she left for Alan. His hands stretched out pulled the blanket and enveloped his body to the neck. Eyes closed. Still ringing clearly in his ears the piercing words of Alan. Anna doesn't seem to know the compassionate and obsessive Alan she once was. Whether the name of the old Alan, now the man was like being transformed by a witch into a man whose heart was frozen. Anna took a deep breath as she felt the liquid pass through her closed eyelids.
