Holy Marriage

Holy Marriage
Pain

Alan's view turned to Alata. “Alta, take out the letter I sent you by email this morning. You've been printing, right?”

“Already, Sir!” alta replied while handing over the map she had prepared. “This, Sir.”

Alan shifted the map and opened it. He cringed looking at the contents of the map. “Hey, what is this?”

“Why, Sir?” Alta turned to look at the map opened by Alan. “Eh, sorry, Sir. Looks like I was wrong.” Alta's face reddened looking at the paper pictorial naruto. It seemed like he had pulled the paper incorrectly when he put it in the folder. It was even a picture of his hand that was given to Alan. This time Alta made a mistake. Even mistakes are made in such crucial moments. His face was ashamed.

Alta hurriedly replaced the paper that Alan was referring to with the paper she had just picked up from inside the bag.

Alan nodded. He glanced at the paper that had been given a stamp. Then put a signature on the paper, he pushed the paper towards Reno.

With a smile, Reno signed the appointment paper.

After that, the discussion continued about the work. The conversation was warm and normal. Until finally Alan closed the meeting and he left the room followed by Alta.

Alan stopped when he entered the secretary's room. He looked towards Alta. “Cute to my room!” her word.

Alta nodded and followed Alan. He sat in the front seat of his boss.

“Starting today, you also reported to Reno my entire work schedule so that Reno would do it if I couldn't handle it,” Alan said.

“Sure, Sir.” Alta nodded. He then noticed Alan's slightly paled lips. The man in front of him now closed his eyes with his forehead linked. Alta also frowned seeing her boss seemed to hold something back.

“Today I canceled all work schedules and you handed over the job to Mr. Reno. Is this about the pain you are suffering?” alta asked still with a frowning forehead.

Alan did not answer. He held his head up with his hands. His eyes are still closed. It was coming from Alan's mouth.

Hearing that, Alta immediately got up to her feet, circling the table. Then grab Alan's arm. “Pak, we're going to the hospital. Let me find help.”

“No. Don't take me to the hospital. Free!” lirih Alan is more like a whisper.

“But.”

Alta took a deep breath. “How about I get water for you?”

“Ya. get it!” Alan leaned his head against the back of the chair.

Alta rushed out of the room, then returned with a glass of water. He handed it to Alan, brought the lips of the glass closer to Alan's lips carefully, guiding the man to sip a drink in the glass.

Alan took a few sips.

Damnit damnit! Drinking water spilled when Alta was about to keep him from Alan's mouth due to Alan's hand accidentally nudging a glass in Alta's hand.

“Aduh, Father's clothes even get wet.” Alta took a tissue to clean the shirt on Alan's chest.

“No need!” Alan pushed Alta's hand.

Alta immediately moved away from Alan. “Sir, I'm not okay. How could you still survive in such a situation? You often tell me that you love your wife very much, then why do you not be honest with your wife about this?”

Alan took a deep breath, after the pain in his head disappeared a little, he opened his eyes.

“Sir, no woman hates her husband when he is sick. Do you not want to be accompanied by a wife when you are not healthy? Mr. critical, Mr.”

“I'm fine.” Alan took another breath. “You don't have to force me into the hospital. I've been doing routine treatment, the last few days I also spent the night in my private doctor's specialty clinic. And I've told you many times that I wouldn't be honest with Anna, my wife. Since she had to be strong when I left her, she must not feel lost and slumped when I left her.”
