S2_34. A Tale of the Past
Three years ago....
“I'm sorry Rafa. I really appreciate the feeling you have for me. But I can only think of you as my brother. My brother's. I can't reply as you expected.” Nara's voice trembled as she refused to be Raphael's lover.
It was Nara's graduation day from High School. After learning of the announcement that he is graduating, he and Rafa decide to have a small party together. They had lunch at a cafe not far from their school.
Things go well until Rafa expresses his feelings for Nara that even Nara herself is unaware of.
“Do I not deserve you Nara?”
“Not so. It's just that I don't have love. Well. You know that love can't be forced?” nara answered nervously.
Since Nadia is married to Nathan, Nara and Bhishma are friends with Rafael who is the son of Luna (remember Nathan's secretary first?). But only Nara is close to Rafael because they are indeed the same age. While Bisma did not like Rafael who was very careless in childhood.
It could be said that Nara and Rafael grew up together. School together. Even Nara was closer to Raphael than to Bhishma.

Rafael immediately walked out of the cafe with clenched hands and reddened eyes. He left with a strong determination with him. He promised himself that he would come back and prove that everything he said was true. That he deserves to be with Nara.
While Nara saw the back of her best friend who was getting farther away. He did not expect that the friendship that had been established for many years would end like that.
Since then, Nara has never met Rafael again. The last news he heard was if Rafael continued his education abroad. After that, he no longer knew. Moreover, Luna decided to move to her hometown where the company of David, her husband stood and was growing.

Today Bhishma invites Nara to meet someone who is willing to help them save the Mahardika Group. The company's leader is willing to spend a lot of money on it.

Without waiting for the order the door was immediately opened by the beautiful secretary. Inviting Nara and Bhishma to enter.

“Why it still stands, please sit.” Say that man.
“Absolutely this man.” Nara said in her heart.
The bisma who found out that Nara was upset could only signal Nara to shut up and hold back.
“OK okay. I'll shut up.” Said Nara slowly who understood the code of Bhishma.
The two of them sat down in the chair opposite the man's desk. After finding out if the guest is sitting down. The man immediately turned his chair to face Nara and Bhishma. Showing her charming smile.
“How are you doing Nara? Sister Bisma?”
“Rafa!” Nara and Bhishma at the same time.
“Yes. Its me. Hows it? Are you guys surprised?” Raphael immediately folded his hands on the table.
“Yah. Pretty surprised.” Answer Bhishma. “At first I felt familiar when I heard who the leader of the Lunar Ind. But I didn't expect if it was really you.” Further.
“Yah. I have changed a lot now. I'm no longer just a kid of a small company owner.”
“I can see that too. You've changed a lot.”
“Time and determination can indeed make many things change kak.” Said Rafael while glancing at Nara who from earlier was just silent without intending to join the conversation. He still wants to see what his best friend is like now.
“Nara don't you miss me?” Rafael put on his face as he looked at Nara with a hard-to-understand look.
“Ah Yes. How is Rafa?” Nara feels that Rafa is now very different. It was as if he did not recognize her anymore.
“I'm good. Exceptionally well. Did you not expect to be in the position you are in now?”
Rafael's question made Nara nervous. The bisma who heard clearly knew that there was another meaning implied from the words of his old friend. But he himself did not know. In the past he had not paid much attention to Rafael's whereabouts, so when he left he did not feel anything was wrong.

The three walked side by side as they arrived at the restaurant. With Nara walking in the middle.
