S2_8111'S CHAT. Couvade Syndrome
Without feeling three days have passed. Tonight is the last night Nara and her family vacation in Lombok. Tomorrow morning they'll be back home.
Since tonight was their last night, Alex had already prepared a sumptuous dinner in one of the VIP rooms at the hotel restaurant where they were staying which was on the top floor.
It was a very warm family dinner. They enjoyed the dishes with great joy. Laughter and talking ria filled the moment of the warm dinner.
The night is getting late. They decided to return to their respective rooms so that tomorrow does not come to bad luck.
But when just out of the room, Nara suddenly wanted to pee. He asks Alex to wait for him while he goes to the bathroom.
“I have to hurry back. Poor Alex waited too long.” Nara rushed out of the bathroom.
Just a few steps away, his eyes caught a figure he recognized that had just entered the elevator. Nara immediately ran to chase. From a distance, the elevator door slowly closed. Nara hastened her steps.
“Vera! Vera! Stop over. Wait for me.” Shouted Nara. Alex who saw Nara running in a hurry immediately approached his wife.
Even though Nara was already running fast, she still could not catch up to Vera who was already lost behind the elevator door. Nara stopped and sat down on the floor with a gasp of breath.
“What's the matter dear?” Alex helps Nara stand up.
“Vera. I saw Vera. He got into the elevator.” Nara pointed at the elevator that was not far from them.
“Have not thought too much. If it was her destiny to meet Vera would definitely meet. Do not neglect your safety. Running in high heels is very dangerous you know?”
“Sorry. I just don't want to miss a chance.”
“If we go after him now, he won't meet either. He must have left. Now we better get back to the room. Believe me, if it was time, Vera would have met. Moreover, he was very far away here. He must have deliberately avoided us.”
“You're right.”

This morning Alex again felt nausea in his stomach. But this time the nausea was more severe than before. Alex's body was made weak. That's why Nara decided to take Alex to the hospital.
When Alex and Nara left, no one woke up except for the housekeepers. So they just left with Sindy and Tora who were ready at the villa.
Arriving at the hospital, Alex was immediately examined by a doctor. But the doctor said Alex was fine. Just limp because his stomach is empty. He also had a slight lack of fluids.
“What doctors are sure? Because it has been two days my husband nausea every morning doctor.”
The doctor was silent for a while. Seeing Alex's condition that looks weak indeed seems to have a problem. But after he checked it, there was nothing wrong with the young man's condition.
“Ah just like this, better now you are the one who checked.” The doctor told Nara. Nara was surprised. She's doing just fine. “But the check is not here.” The doctor continued when he saw Nara's confused face.
“I am fine doctor. Why should I be checked?”
“Look, this is rare. But there have also been some similar cases. When the condition of the wife changes, the husband will feel the impact.”
“What doctor mean? I really don't understand.”
“I suspect this is a symptom of couvade syndrome or sympathetic pregnancy. Conditions where the husband feels the symptoms of pregnancy that are usually felt by the wife. Like nausea and limp.” Obviously the doctor.
“So by doctor my wife is pregnant?” Alex, who had been listening, asked enthusiastically. Although never alluding to the problem of children, as a married man of course wants the presence of children. Nara looked at Alex with an inexplicable look. He was afraid to make Alex disappointed when he saw how happy Alex is now even though all he heard was an estimate.
“Alright then. Thank you doctor.” Alex clasped Nara's hand which suddenly turned cold. He did not expect to get this unexpected news.
Alex enlists Sindy's help to register Nara for a pregnancy check. He himself accompanied Nara who was still silent since coming out of the doctor's examination room earlier.
“Darling why are you quiet? Are you unhappy?” Alex asked worriedly.
“I'm afraid of Lex. I'm afraid to disappoint you if the results are not in our favor.” Answer Nara sissily. Alex pulls Nara's head and she rests on her shoulder.
“Don't think too much. The child is a daydream. If you're not pregnant, I'm fine. Instead we'll have more time together.”
“Thank you dear.” Nara. He's feeling calm now. She is grateful to have a husband like Alex.
After waiting for fifteen minutes, it was Nara's turn to be examined. The doctor examined Nara's condition carefully.
“How about the result doctor?” ask Nara worriedly.
“Mother Nara is pregnant. Her age has only been running for three weeks. However there is something that needs to be checked further.”
“What's the problem?” ask Alex to worry.
“After I checked, I detected a slight problem in the content. And this requires further inspection.” Obviously the gynecologist named Rini.
“Good doctor. Do further inspection.”
Nara eventually underwent a series of examinations. Alex also gave word to their family who hurriedly came after getting word.
Nadia, Serena and Nathan rushed to the hospital. While Bhishma must go home because it is impossible to leave the company for a long time. Dini and Gerry also come home because they have to go to school the next day.
Everyone cheered Nara. Ask Nara and Alex to be patient. They also prayed that Nara and her baby would be fine.
In the afternoon, the procedure that Nara had to go through was finally completed. A nurse asks Alex to the doctor's office to discuss Nara's condition. Nathan also wants to find out about Nara's condition and follows Alex to the doctor's office. The others waited in Nara's room anxiously.
“Don't worry dear. Everything will be fine.” Nadia hugged Nara. He knew his son was in bad shape.
Nara's pregnancy was her first. And now there's even a problem. Of course this creates a mental burden for Nara.
“Nara scared mom.” Nara cries in Nadia's arms.
“Do not worry. There's papa and Alex. You just calm down. It must be just a small matter.” Nadia tried to calm down.
“You're right, baby. Problems in the first pregnancy are natural. So don't worry. Medical science is advancing now. Medical devices are also sophisticated. Nothing to worry about.” Serena patted Nara on the back.
Although Nara nodded, she was still worried in her heart.
