Alex ate the food on his plate reluctantly. Not because it tastes bad. But the one who cooked it was Serena. If Nara did not force her to eat, she would not want to eat what Serena prepared as good as it was.

“Mama has made your favorite mango pudding. Try.” Serena shifts the plate containing the pudding to get close to Alex when she sees Alex finish her meal.

“Alright first. I still have something I need to talk to mama.” Nara holds Alex's arm. The man snorted before leaving the two different women of that generation.

“Am I that bad?” Serena stared at the mango pudding she had prepared specially for Alex.

“Mama must not despair. Alex just needs time to understand that mom loves her very much.” Nara stroked the back of Serena's hand sitting next to her.

“Darling, don't you hate mama?”

“Me and mom are both girls. And all women have a reason to do something. Nara sure mom must have had her own consideration at the time.”

“Former mom still can't to think mature. My age was far from your current age. But you're so mature thinking. Your parents must have taught you well.”

“Yes they are the best. I forgot to introduce my mom to them. Though it's been almost a Sunday mama is here.”

“How about tomorrow we have dinner together. I'll ask Alex if there's an event tomorrow. Otherwise we can eat together for the first time.” Nara took a piece of the pudding and ate it.

“It's good. If I may know, who are your mom and dad?”

“My father Nathanael Mahardika and my mother Nadia Purnama. Does mom know them?”

Serena was silent and remembered. It seemed like the names of both Nara's parents were no stranger to him. Probably one of his acquaintances in the past. But he did not remember clearly at all.

“No. But mama feels no stranger to hearing their name.” Serena shakes.

“It's okay ma. Tomorrow, if you meet, you will also know. All right, I'm gonna go up and tell Alex your plan. Hopefully he agrees.”

“Mama I'll take this pudding with me. This pudding is delicious.”

“I'm Alex's favorite food. I don't know if he doesn't like it anymore.”

“Hahaha. He would be stupid if he didn't like it. All right, I'll go to the room. I'll show her how good the pudding mama made.” Serena nodded and smiled. Alex ignored him. But Nara treated him well. That's enough to make him happy.

Nara returned to the room with a plate filled with pudding. Arriving in the room, she sees Alex busy with a laptop on the sofa table. He smiled wickedly. Nara sat down next to Alex after putting the dishes on the table.

“Hemmm. I didn't expect the pudding to taste this good.” Nara plays the drama. It was as if she was undergoing the filming of an advertisement that required her to be enjoying a very delicious meal.

“Enak. Sweetness fitting.” Say Nara again after putting one piece of pudding into her mouth.

Alex who had been silent glanced at him for a moment.

“Darling, you really don't like mango pudding? It's delicious youho.” Nara takes a piece of the pudding using a fork and thrusts it into Alex's mouth.

“No need to show off. I'm not tempted at all.” Alex takes Nara's hand.

“Ya already if you don't want to. I'll spend it myself.” Nara grabbed the plate and hugged it. Eat one pudding at a time. Sometimes he glanced at Alex who was still busy with his laptop.

“Tomorrow nights I want to have dinner here. I'll invite mom and dad too. Can ya?” Nara put down the plate that was almost finished. Of the dozens of pieces, now only five pieces of pudding with an orange color on the plate.

“For what?” Alex knitted his eyebrows.

“Is that your only reason?”

“Yes introduced your mama to my mom and dad. Can ya?”

“Terlarah. But what's my gift for that?” Alex shuts down his laptop after saving the file perfectly.

“This let me kiss you.” Alex brought her face closer so Nara could kiss her easily.

But Alex is not his name if only satisfied with a kiss. Moreover, the opportunity does not come every day.

The next day, Nara asked permission not to work. He wanted to accompany Serena to shop for dinner items. In addition to the two of them, Mak Marni and one young female servant named Rini who also served as a driver on the trip.

Nara couldn't help anything there. He did not even know the names of each ingredient. Especially if you are asked to choose a good one. He doesn't understand at all.

But the goal is not to help. He wanted to spend more time with his mother-in-law. Ever since the woman came a few days ago, she had always been busy accompanying Alex. So he still had never had a quiet chat with Serena.

“Just give it to Mak Marni ma. Let him and Rini do it all. Mama needs to do the important thing.” Nara snatches the paper from Serena's hand.

“What is more important than shopping?” serena asked confusedly.

“Nara has not been to the salon for a long time. Mama accompany me yes. Mak Marni please yes.” Nara gives Mak Marni a paper list of groceries and draws Serena to follow her to the salon inside the mall.

“I don't think all of this needs to be Dear.” Serena has not been in the salon for a long time. It feels a little weird. He is currently enjoying a spa service with Nara.

“All this needs mom. Struggling to melt the rigors of Alex's arrogant attitude requires extra thoughts ma.” Answer Nara.

That day Serena was very happy. After taking care of herself in the salon, Nara also invited her to buy some casual clothes and dresses. Things he hadn't done in a long time.

“Mama is very happy Alex married a good woman like you.” Say Serena when they are in the car for the ride home.

“It's not excessive. Although Alex still silences mama like this, but mama does not feel lonely because there is you.”

“Mama take it easy. Nara sure soon Alex will receive mama back.”

“Hopefully. If that happens, mama is sure if it is the happiest event for mama.” Serena looked far away.
