91. The Decision for Miranda

A middle-aged man clenched his fists under the table. The face of emotion wrapped in worry and helplessness was clearly visible there. His eyes looked at the puzzled door that had just closed before him.

After calming his heart for a while, he grabbed the phone from inside his suit pocket. Press a few times before placing the object near his right ear and sticking it on the cheek. Waiting for a while before the joint came together and there was the voice of a cheerful woman from across there.

Shortly after, the secretary re-entered with two men with her. After two guests sat in the front seat of the boss. The secretary was about to go prepare a drink for his guest. Yet a cold voice dominating prevented him.

“We won't be here long. No need to prepare anything for us.” Hearing that, the secretary immediately stood behind the boss.

“Hahaha. All right, Mr. Nathan. What troubles you to come to my little place?” ask Hendra Wijaya. The big boss in the company who instantly became small in front of Nathan.

But Hendra's pleasant laughter stopped when he noticed Nathan's cold face.

“No need for pleasantries. I want your child to leave this country at the end of tomorrow.” Nathan's words made Hendra's eyeballs glare. What happened until Nathan suddenly detonated such a thing in front of him?

During this time Hendra knew Nathan as a man who was close to his daughter until he heard the news that Nathan announced his marriage. But he did not know what his son was doing to provoke people who should not be offended.

So when he heard Nathan asking him to ask directly to expel his son he became shocked.

“But what's up?”

“Your girl tried to provoke me by disturbing the peace of the people around me.”

Hearing Nathan's reasoning, Hendra once again became confused. What's his daughter doing out there?

Nathan immediately headed to the hotel where he was going to hold a press conference. He wanted all the preparations to be in accordance with his wishes. He also has to make sure that the comfort of Nadia is the most important thing.

While others, the new old man was getting a threat in a dilemma now. Miranda was the only child she had. With his wife who died when his son was a child, his son grew up with abundant affection. Everything that became his desire, all will be easily fulfilled. Hendra just wants his son to be happy. And unknowingly, he had plunged his son into a spoiled and selfish person.

“Honey, if you choose between getting married and going abroad. Which one did you choose?” hearing the choice from Hendra, Miranda furrowed her brows. It was not usual that his father would impose his will as he was now. What else makes him have to choose between difficult choices.

But his mind is more inclined to the first thought. It has its arrangement.

“If I marry Nathan, I'd rather marry pa.” Her speech. This is his hope. Who knows, her father has prepared her surprise by marrying her to Nathan. All this time his father would give him whatever he wanted.

“Papa will find other men who are not inferior to Mr. Nathan.”

“No pa. I just want to marry Nathan. Not with others.”

“If you're stubborn like this. Forced papa to send you abroad.”

“Papa couldn't do that to me!” peekik Miranda's. He pulled his hand which was held by Hendra. He stood up annoyed. Her father cannot treat her like this.

“Miranda. Papa was wrong to have overindulged you long ago until you grew up to be an ambitious child like this. You have provoked people you shouldn't bother.”

“But I want Nathan pa. I love her.”

“He doesn't want you. And you're ruining his life. Do you know the consequences of your attitude? This company will be destroyed by your childish actions!”

“I can't believe papa could say that to me.” Miranda started sobbing. In his entire life, his father never even snapped at him.

“This is all for your own good, son. Mr. Nathan was here, he threatened Papa would withdraw all his shares in our company. You know what that means, right? Our company will be destroyed without his help. After all, if you continue to be here, papa is sure that Mr. Nathan will not let you live a quiet life. It won't be long, baby. Only after you get married can you come back here. You're beautiful, smart. It will be easy to find someone who is right for you. Far exceed mr Nathan.”

“No pa! I beg you not..” miranda sobbing. But Hendra had made up his mind.

The decision taken must be full of consideration. He could not simply ignore the thousands of employees who were under him. Besides, if Miranda keeps on being here, it's not good for her son either. So he had to try to harden his heart for his son this time. For her own good.

And at that time he also sent his only daughter to go abroad.
