Episode 23

“What happened to him?” ask Indi nervously.

“Who?”  the boy was astonished.

“Jeannet!” call Indi panic.

Indi then realized. Not all Indigo children can see invisible creatures. At first, I could not see them. Jeannet thrashed and shouted while holding her head. Indi.

“Jeannet you why, hey Jeannet,” said Indi tried to make it stop.

“I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!” exclaim that little ghost.

Indi then held it, “What's wrong Jeannet, it's okay, everything has passed,”

The ghost girl stopped crying. He looked at Indi. The next second, Indi saw what he had been afraid of. Jeannet's skin gives rise to bruises and bruises. Her hair got wet. From his head blood continued to flow, which made Indi's body begin to tremble.

“I'm a good boy,” Jeannet said with her blank stare.

“I'm a ba\-“ boy

The ghost then returned to what it was. In front of Indi, the girls' hands glowed. Looks like it's what brought Jeannet back to life.

“How? Can you do that? I thought you couldn't see Jeannet,”

“Please say it's part of purgatory. I really can't see it. But just now, even ordinary humans can feel it,” obviously the boy.

“We must leave immediately, chances are they are near,” continued the child.

How could this little boy know all that? He had even just met her once at UCI, the Inner Indi.

“How can you know?” Ask Indi.

“From the ghost girl,”

“Then where should we go? What are we supposed to do? How can we both run away from them? How\-“

The flame then snatched from both hands, “First you should be able to calm down, your panic can kill you. Second we'll go find your mother. Lastly, we are not alone,” cut it followed by someone who entered the room.

Indi knitted his brows. He doesn't understand what he sees. People who have not liked it all this time.

“Fanny?”

It never crossed Indi's mind about what happened to her today. He had to walk more than two kilos, in a dead village, in a foreign country he did not know.

Not to mention that he had to go through it with a child who looked like a psychopath, a little ghost who had disappeared and reappeared, and a girl who always sought attention with ghosts.

Indi looked at Fanny who had been walking in front. He wears a thick jacket that is often used by mountain climbers. He carried a dagger with him on his waist. Oh yes and also a black bead bracelet that is also hung side by side with the knife.

“Why should we look for my mother?” Tanya Indi broke the atmosphere of their journey that had been silent.

Fanny stared at the cynical Indi. It was clear that he did not want to answer any questions that came out of Indi's mouth. While the fire girl Liona, just chose silence. Indi looked back trying to find Jeannet. But he didn't get it.

Along the way Indi can only stare at the trees and some houses arranged from the rocks, it seems to have long been abandoned. After a month in UCI, Indi feels strange again to be in the world “Nyata”. Because according to Liona, UCI is in another realm that cannot be reached by humans.

Indi so remembered with several places in his home country that have the same myth. Only now Indi knew that it was not a myth.

“Is this a normal thing?” Ask Liena.

“We've walked quite a distance, and even as long as I passed out it seemed like no one was chasing us.”

Indi looked at Fanny. He never understood why the girl always hated him. Indi gathered her courage.

“Why do you hate me so much?” Indi asked nervously.

“Don't GR yes, I never hated you.”

“You lied, since at UCI you always hated me, why?”

Fanny sighed, “I've never hated anyone. I just can't trust anyone. Even myself. You know, someone like you, wouldn't understand,” replied Fanny, her look changed.

“Forget it!”

Liona heard us and touched me. He shook. Indi knew it was not the right time to continue that conversation. Maybe only Indi's feelings, but from now on he felt that their journey had no end. It made him think of his mother and father.

I don't know where they are now. They may be being held by The Sanctus.  Even if his mother's okay, why didn't she look for him. And why the newspaper Maddam Noella showed showed that her mother had died that day.

“They faked it.”

Indi looked at Fanny in confusion. “You, you just read my mind, or just happened to?”

“It's not just you who master more than one ability,”

Indi nodded awkwardly. He was curious, so far many things Fanny had known about him. During the trip he must have been looking for strange things that have happened in his life.

Fanny rolled her eyes, “I'm a cerebellum, but I'm not like Lisa who can read all your thoughts and memories. I can only read the thoughts that someone has just thought, even if I try to do it. I know you may not like me, but right now, we have to work together.”

“You haven't answered my question,” said Indi.

“All shown in UCI are fake. Things about your mother also her death. All fake. Some cerebellum children can certainly easily manipulate or create something with their doraemon tools\-tools. From the beginning they didn't want you to know your mother was alive. They want you to stay there,”

Fanny's answer made her ask more and more questions, “I understand they want me, I mean my ability. But, what about telling me that my mom is dead?”

“For you not to look for it, so that you have something to blame, and so that your Indigom ability is faster to rise. Ever since you arrived at the UCI, things have been arranged by Maddam Noella. He involved a few people in that, Lisa, Rico, Catherine and I were one of them,”

It's a little heavy, but all Fanny's explanations seem to make sense of everything that happened to her, “You mean everything that happened to me from the beginning was just setting. Even Catherine?” mentioning Catherine made her eyes glaze over.

During her time at the UCI, Catherine was the only person she could call a friend.

Fanny shook her head, “Catherine is different. Same with me, Jeannet. From the beginning there were a few things that stuck with the place. It's just that the other kids can't see it. The place had something dark Indi,” explained Fanny, her face darkened.

Indi knew it was not the right time to ask questions again. But he can't, “What about Catherine? Where is he now?”

Fanny then looked at him pity, “He was caught that night. We can't save him,”

Indi. Thought garbled. Some things cannot go hand in hand. On the one hand he was so happy that his mother was well\-just fine, and he was able to get out, but on the other he felt guilty and so worried about Catherine.

“I know what you're thinking, but we can't go back now. Not after the sacrifice Catherine made,”

“What do you mean? He's probably being tortured there because of me,”

“He's fine\-all,” between Liona who had been listening.

“Liona's right,” continued Fanny who had wiped the puddles in her eyes, “Catherine must be fine\-all. We have to find your mother, then go back to save Catherine,” she continued, who seemed to be hesitant with her words\-she said.

The two women then continued their journey. Some things really disturb Indi's mind. After all this, it seems like he should go back to see his psychiatrist.

Indi wondered if Fanny could still read her thoughts at this distance. He was not honest with the two girls. He has not told them why he continues to follow them.

From the beginning he had already determined, after he met his mother, he would go and run away with his parents. He didn't care about the UCI after everything that happened. He just wants his life with his little family back. She does feel sadness about Catherine, but her family is more precious.

He didn't want to get stuck with all these weird things. Maybe from the beginning Catherine really wanted to help him Indi's inner trying to justify all his thoughts.
